This was big news.

Students from Fire A Class had actually clashed with their peers from Fire D Class.

And it was a formal, public duel.

Honestly, this was unprecedented at GCD Divine Mechanism Academy.

The rarer the event, the more it could blow up.

There wasn’t much to say.

At this point, a fight between them was inevitable.

Zhu XiuRong and Pang Dun sensed something was off.

In their minds, this was the right scenario—but—

Silence lingered.

Like the calm before the storm, was it—

Would there be a huge noise? A major event?

A little thought, just a tiny one—

Could it swell into something massive?

“How about we go check?” Pang Dun turned to Zhu XiuRong.

“You’re worried about him too, right?”

They exchanged glances and nodded together.

What they wanted to say was already in their hearts.

Hidden in expressions and gestures, they knew each other well.

They needed to see Jiang Huoer.

He’d gone to Fire A Class for them.

Since he’d acted for Class A, they’d act for Huor.

At least, they couldn’t lose face.

The two walked toward Fire A Class.

Seeing their leaders move, Fire D Class followed.

Pang Dun and Zhu XiuRong were their trendsetters.

Whatever they did, the class did too.

Now was the time to follow.

“We’re going too!”

The whole class marched toward “that place.”

Hearts resonated, then rallied.

A historic event unfolded at GCD Divine Mechanism Academy.

Class D provoked Class A,上门挑衅.

It shocked everyone, revealing hidden depths in Fire D Class.

Some called it overconfidence.

Others saw unyielding will in their eyes.

Teachers on the training ground were stunned.

They never expected Fire D Class to go this far for a transfer student.

How could their cohesion be so strong?

Was it all because of that transfer student?

Why did he have this pull?

He’d won over Class D’s two trendsetters.

So Class D revolved around him.

Fire A Class students saw Fire D Class approaching.

They were even more shocked.

This inner turmoil surpassed seeing the Four Kings’ power.

“What’s going on————”

“What’s gotten into Class D?”

“Is it all for that idiot transfer student?”

They couldn’t describe their emotions.

“Class rep? Vice rep?!”

Huor hadn’t expected Fire D Class to come.

They’d all tried to stop him earlier.

“What’s wrong? Why so quiet?” Zhu XiuRong asked.

“Nothing much.” Huor waved his hand.

“I just challenged him to a duel.” Huor said calmly.

“What!!?”

An explosive reaction. Fire D Class members’ eyes widened.

“Why so surprised?” Huor paused.

“He said strength is supreme. Since Class A believes that, to change it, don’t I defeat its source?” Huor pointed to the Four Kings nearby.

“If one of them said it, I’d duel them too.”

“!!!!!!”

The air turned deathly silent.

Class A students, who’d laughed at Huor’s words to Zhao Meng, now dared not breathe.

Who was Jiang Huoer targeting? The Four Kings.

The ones who kept GCD Divine Mechanism Academy atop the War God Imprint Divine Mechanists’ world.

How could this talentless, weak transfer student say such shocking things?

Challenging the Four Kings? Dueling them? Defeating them?

Did he know what he was doing?

Did he realize he was testing their patience?

“Huor!” Pang Dun shouted too late.

He’d meant to cover Huor’s mouth but missed.

Huor’s words were too fast.

Clearly, the Four Kings froze at his words.

Zhuo Wentian opened his eyes, waking from meditation.

Xie Tianai stood still, done with basic training.

Shu Xingfeng halted his wind-element sorcery, eyes sharp.

Yi Polai stopped his pen. His War God Imprint Ritual sketch stayed unfinished.

The boy’s words had stolen his focus.

Four people, four states, yet all gazes converged.

On that transfer student infamous for his “hobby of cannon fire,” overestimating himself.

Huor felt those gazes. No anger, no amusement.

Only emptiness. If anything, a trace of curiosity.

Curiosity about what boy dared say this to their faces.

“If you have a problem, take it up with me!” Pang Dun darted before Unruly.

“It was just words. Taking it seriously seems petty, doesn’t it?”

Pang Dun sought to defuse things.

The Four Kings ignored soft or hard tactics.

Only firm, respectful words could gain initiative.
