"Xier, stop spacing out! Hurry and get the bacon out. For breakfast, let’s keep it simple—bacon burgers. Just slice some bread, and we’re good~"
"Oh, right~" Xier snapped back to reality. The problems waiting at school later were huge, but being with Hua Shu made it worth it. Losing this job? She could find another—she was a top uni grad with experience. What was there to fear? A relieved smile spread across her face. Energy surged through her, and she fried the bacon with extra care.
"Xiao Ling~ Go call Miss Wu Ke for breakfast~" I shouted to my sister, who’d just finished washing up and hadn’t stopped smiling. Seriously, was *that* really so fun?
"Okay, got it!" She dashed to my room door and knocked.
Knock knock knock!
"Wu Ke~ Come out! Wash up and eat!"
Inside, rustling sounds answered—startled, but no reply.
"Huh? Ignoring me? Hmph, Xiao Ke-er, open up or I’ll grab the spare key! And I’ll help you dress… happily♂~"
Thud!
After Xiao Ling’s threat, the person inside seemed to tumble out of bed. The door swung open instantly.
Truth was, Wu Ke hadn’t hidden in Hua Shu’s room out of shyness. She’d just become friends with him yesterday, then did *that* last night. Roles reversed unexpectedly—who could say who gained what?
"Um, Xiao Ling, I’m so sorry! Last night, I actually did that to you… I’m such a—" Wu Ke bowed 90 degrees at the door. Xiao Ling seemed happy, but a real man owned his mistakes.
Xiao Ling frowned slightly, reaching out to stop the bow. Her hands landed firmly on Wu Ke’s chest. That full sensation sparked a memory. "I don’t mind it! You ambushed me, but you were totally offering yourself. Mmm, felt great, tasted amazing too! But wear proper underwear next time—no soaked clothes, okay?"
Xiao Ling dragged Wu Ke to her room, helped her into underwear, and tidied her wild hair. Wu Ke looked as alluring as yesterday, her conflicted expression mixing temptation with a hint of innocence.
Xiao Ling pulled Wu Ke to the dining table. The four of us ate together, warm and cozy—like home. Xier’s left arm hugged my waist; her right hand switched between chopsticks and a burger, grinning like a life winner. I was awkward: my right hand pinned under her butt, nestled in her lap. I bit my burger fiercely with my left hand. Burgers got greasy—I craved the cold dishes. After failed attempts to reach them, I sighed and grabbed the burger again. Then Xier’s chopsticks fed me a carrot. Huh? Unexpectedly sweet.
"Bro, you two didn’t… do it last night, did you~?" Xiao Ling asked nervously, watching our intimate breakfast. She didn’t know much about Xier and me.
Xier and I both flushed. I forced calm. "Ahem, Xiao Ling, Xier’s our homeroom teacher! She just helped with food—no misunderstandings!"
"Oh, really…"
Half-convinced, Xiao Ling turned to Wu Ke. She sat silent, hugging a burger, chewing gloomily. Her brows furrowed; she sighed.
"Hey! Xiao Ke-er! So what if I had you a few times last night and this morning? Why sigh? You were moaning so happily anyway!"
Wu Ke jolted, bit her tongue chewing bread, and covered her mouth. Tears streamed down. Food stuck—she coughed hard.
Poor Wu Ke. I stood to pat her back but forgot Xier’s arm around my waist. Yanking her up mid-sip, she choked, glared fiercely, and coughed.
Great. I hadn’t helped Wu Ke, and now Xier choked. I patted Xier’s back frantically.
"Hua Shu! You’re dead to me!!!!"
"Ah~~ Sorry! Forgot you were holding me—I just wanted to help Wu Ke!"
"Hah? ‘Sorry’ is all?!"
"Uh, not intentional! Ow! Stop—mmph!"
Xier glared, chugged milk from the jug, cheeks puffed. She kissed me—steamy but doomed! I tried to flee, but she pinched my waist hard. I yelped; her lips sealed mine.
Gurgle, gurgle.
She poured all the milk into my mouth, blocking escape. Ugh~~ It dripped down my neck!
"Huff huff! Alive again. Xier, you’re brutal!"
Xier smirked vengefully. Seeing milk trail down my neck so lewdly, she leaned in and licked it. My face burned hotter. Seriously—just breakfast. Did it have to be like this?
