"Eh?!!!" The exclamation came from me. Today had been packed with surprises. Who walked through the door? None other than the young lady I’d met at McDonald’s yesterday!
She wasn’t in her school uniform, and Xier didn’t comment. Casually dressed in hot pants and a T-shirt, she strode in confidently. At the podium, she raised one hand and pressed it down lightly, signaling silence. The class hushed instantly, swayed by her presence. I’d had to sacrifice my sister’s dignity just to quiet them earlier!
"Good morning, everyone. I’m the new transfer student. Sorry to cut into your break. To keep it short, I’m Yi Gualie. Nice to meet you." Wow, so smooth! Not a trace of nerves. Way better than my clumsy self-introduction.
As I marveled, she spotted me in the crowd and walked over. Finding no seat beside me, she frowned slightly and said to Xier, "Teacher Lei, I’d like a desk and chair added here. Is that alright?" It sounded like a request, but her tone was pure command. Xier shouldn’t indulge her like this! Why sit next to me immediately? I was by the aisle...
But Xier’s reaction stunned me and the whole class.
"No problem! I’ll fetch one right away." That was outrageous! Adding furniture in the aisle? Xier actually agreed. I was right—she truly was a young lady. Yet yesterday, she’d been polite and loved fast food. Today, she was unexpectedly assertive.
As Xier moved to grab a desk from the wall, my window-seat deskmate stood up, unable to bear the tension. Was he about to teach this young lady a lesson? Go for it! Hehehe.
"Classmate Yi Gualie, no need to trouble Teacher Lei. Take my seat. I’ve sat by the window too long and get scared of heights."
"Oh, I see. Thank you so much!" The young lady bowed slightly to him in gratitude. Tsk, genuinely polite.
Xier and I helped shift my deskmate’s things to an empty desk. The young lady got her wish and sat beside me. Xier raised an eyebrow at me, then said, "Please get along well," before leaving.
Xiao Ling seemed curious about the new student. Gazing at her delicate face, she asked, "Classmate Gualie, are you the legendary young lady?"
Huh? Sister, you just voiced my thoughts!
"Hmm? My father runs a business, but I’m not a young lady."
After that simple reply, Yi Gualie turned to me and gave a silly, staring smile.
"Hello. Thanks for treating me last time. Meeting again feels like fate~"
Fate? Maybe. If you’d transferred later, I’d believe it. Transferring just for me over one meal? Not worth it... Still, having such a cute young lady do it made my heart flutter! See that, normies? This world outside the window is my empire~~~
"Ahem, Gualie, I’m Hua Shu. Don’t be so formal—it makes me nervous."
"Oh? Sorry. I’m used to it. I’ll try to change!"
We chatted until class began. Bored, I slumped down to sleep. Yao-chan said she’d be happier if I let her out to play! But before drifting off, I noticed Gualie had opened her book but never turned a page. Her eyes kept glancing at my legs, her face slightly flushed. What was on them?
I followed her gaze. Oh—my sock was torn! No wonder she stared. She must have OCD. I’d remove it during break while everyone did exercises. I told White Yao to wake me after class. Then I drifted off.
...
"Hua Shu-chan~ Hua Shu~~ Wake up!"
"Mmm, break time already?"
I snapped back. Sleeping felt like zoning out—time flew. What now? Admire the lovely Gualie.
Huh? Why did it feel like someone was rubbing my calf?
I turned. Gualie’s eyes were still on my legs, her own leg gently rubbing mine. What was this? A noble greeting? I rubbed back to be friendly.
She shivered as if flustered, her blush deepening. Such a cute kid.
"Gualie, time for exercises!"
"Ah~~ Oh, skipping is fine."
"Better go. Standing out too much gets you excluded."
"Classmate Hua Shu, aren’t you coming?"
"Uh, my legs aren’t great. Can’t join. Look at what I’m wearing—it’s not suitable."
Gualie obediently left with the others. I slipped off my sock, hid it in my desk drawer, put on my shoes, and headed downstairs. After using the restroom, I bought three mineral waters from the store for Xiao Ling, Gualie, and myself.
Returning, everyone was back chatting. Grumbling about my slow legs again, I handed out the waters. Xiao Ling took hers cheerfully. Gualie opened hers with a strange expression, gulped a mouthful...
...and choked.
I patted her back, then absentmindedly patted her head. If she didn’t reject a head pat, she must like me, right? Good—I liked her too. Such a cute young lady. Tsk tsk. I reached into my desk drawer. My brow furrowed as I felt around.
My sock was gone...
Just then, at the school gate, four bald men in black suits sat in a Porsche Cayenne. One spoke into his phone:
"Madam, the young master has transferred to your school. He’s after that girl."
A serious, melodious voice replied from the other end:
"Confirmed he truly likes her?"
"Confirmed. The young master has already... taken action today."
"What was he wearing?"
"Women’s clothing, Madam."
"Understood. Guard him closely. Report anything immediately."
The young Madam hung up. Her face mirrored Gualie’s seventy percent, but she looked more mature and alluring. Though over thirty, she seemed in her twenties. Now, she appeared troubled.
"Sigh, my fault. Years ago, for fun, I dressed him as my sister for a day out. Now he’s obsessed with women’s clothes. At least he’s finally fond of a girl. If Gualie brought a boy home, I’d be the Yi family’s sinner..."
