Great Peril! Wu Ke, the Bald One with Bl

Hehehe, I’ve got tons of fans now! Outwardly, I kept my cool, but inside, I was jumping for joy. Forgive me—I’m just an ordinary person. Receiving such an expensive gift was something I’d never even dreamed of before.

Hmm, I’m a bit thirsty. There’s a McDonald’s up ahead. I’ll grab a cool juice before heading back.

Inside McDonald’s, even with a line, the service was lightning-fast. Soon, it was my turn. I ordered an orange juice from a shy, college-student-looking server and found a spot with a good view.

Why a good view? To check out girls, of course! Even though I’m a girl now, it doesn’t stop my inner boy from adoring pretty girls!

That short-haired girl in hot pants over there is so adorable—like she jumped straight out of an anime. Tsk, but your sundae’s melting while you stand there spacing out. Showing off your cuteness for me? Heh.

I followed her big eyes to see what she was staring at. Wait—she’s looking at me? Her face flushed when she caught my gaze.

Amused, I pointed at her melting ice cream. She glanced down, frowned regretfully, then took a huge bite. She squeezed her eyes shut, hand over her mouth—clearly brain-freeze struck. But if it’s that cold, just spit it out! Why cling to it like that? Trying to kill me with cuteness?

I wished I could snap a pic to show my sister later. Tsk, she’s bursting with charm! I covered my face, laughing. The short-haired girl noticed and walked over.

“Sorry for the laugh. Is anyone sitting opposite you?” she asked politely, using formal honorifics. Weird.

“Uh, no. Just having juice. Not waiting for anyone.”

“Then I won’t be shy!” She sat across from me, holding half a sundae, cheeks still pink. Was it from the cold…?

“What’s up, cutie?”

“I’m not—oh, I came to thank you for the reminder earlier. Otherwise, I’d have wasted this hard-earned ice cream.”

“Huh? Why? Ice cream’s cheap. If you want more, I’ll get you some.” I liked her—adorable and polite, though her speech was odd.

“Oh! Thank you so much! My family never lets me eat this stuff. I snuck out today with no money. This sundae was a gift from that kind server. If you’re treating me, could I also have fries and a Coke?”

Strict upbringing, huh? Probably a young lady!

“No problem. I’ll get them.” I still had cash left from today—meant for my sister’s clothes—but meeting this cutie was a happy accident. I couldn’t refuse. Not that I just wanted to watch her eat because she’s cute or anything.

“Wow, thank you! You’re so pretty—are you an idol?”

“Pfft, you’re adorable. I’m just a student at ClearWater Academy over there.”

“ClearWater? Hehe, I go there too! Which class are you in? I’ll visit when I’m free.”

So formal! It’s just popping into another classroom, but she made it sound classy.

“Due to some reasons, I’m transferring to Class 7, Grade 9 tomorrow.”

“A transfer student? Looking forward to our next meeting. I must eat quickly—getting caught would be bad.”

“Go ahead!” I watched her nibble fries gracefully, sipping Coke elegantly. Heh, even drinking Coke looks tempting. Are you trying to seduce me?

Time flew like a galloping white horse. Fun moments always slip away. Though she ate politely, she finished the huge fries pack fast. Afterward, she licked tomato sauce off her fingers—a slightly rude move, but it etched her image deep in my mind.

“Well, I must take my leave.”

“Oh, safe travels~”

She bowed to me. Today’s outing was wise—so many fun encounters with such a cute person… Oops, forgot to ask her name. Watching her fade away, I shook my head. We’ll meet again if fate allows.

Lunchtime’s near. One last scan for cuties at McDonald’s, then I’m off. My sister will worry—I’m prone to danger lately. But first, a mental recharge!

I scanned the room, found no targets, and stood to leave. Suddenly, a man and woman entered. The girl had chestnut wavy hair and a sharp uniform skirt—I glanced twice. But that guy… ugh, blinding! The sunlight glared off his head, stabbing my eyes. I glared back to say, “Dude, that’s not street-friendly!” But his gaze made me flinch. Seriously, bro—why are your pupils red with symbols? A legendary… superhuman?

Curious, I stayed, ordering a refill. But why’d they give me plain water?!

Whatever. I’m full anyway. Superman’s more important! I returned to my seat, sneaking glances while straining my ears. Please understand my chuunibyou heart—I got demoted from high school to middle school, so why not embrace the cringe?

“Miss, I’m Wu Ke. Food’s coming—please wait.”

“I just asked for directions. I don’t want to eat…”

“I told you where to go. As thanks, join me for lunch?”

“I guess… but…”

“Then sit properly!”

Whoa. That guy smiled nonstop, but it was terrifying. The girl’s smile looked forced—like she was being pressured. This was getting juicy! Bald Wu Ke went to grab the food, but… did he sprinkle powder into the coffee? Or was I seeing things?

Red-eyed Wu Ke returned, placing the tray down with a smile. “Since you don’t want food, have coffee. I’ll finish fast—you can leave after.”

“Okay…” The girl sighed in relief, grabbing the coffee. Wu Ke’s grin widened.

My heart pounded. This Wu Ke dared to cross moral lines! Should I intervene? Even if I could, I might get dragged in. But I saw it—I really saw it!

As I hesitated, the girl clutched her head, slumping low. She seemed to realize something, trying to stand. But she couldn’t speak—her lips shaped two silent words: Help me!

Red-eyed Wu Ke’s eyes truly burned now. A cooked duck won’t fly away! He abandoned his half-eaten meal, grabbed her arm, and dragged her toward the exit.

Save her? Save her? Save her? Save her?

Save her!
