Little Sister

I shook my head, trying to forget last night’s weird events. But as I did, my long black hair—flowing past my shoulders—swayed with the motion. I froze. What the hell? Something was on the back of my neck. Damn it! So scary.

My original hair…

Miko watched me scare myself silly and burst out laughing. Then she lifted my right leg and started massaging it gently.

“Hey, Miko, do you recognize this face I have now?” I asked, eyeing her doubtfully.

“Hmm… nope. But it’s pretty cute. With your new body, you’re a total babe now. Haha!”

“Uh, stop joking around.”

I rubbed my face with my fingers, frustrated. But Miko’s massage grew… suggestive. Her hands slid up my legs from below, like some pervert teasing a girl. A slight warmth spread through my body, and I couldn’t resist it.

“Ugh~ Miko, cut it out! Stop already!” This steamy teasing was too much.

“Ahhh~ So this is my own leg? Feels weird touching it, Hua Shu.”

Hearing Miko say such strange things, I decided to retreat to the bathroom. I needed a moment alone—and to see what this new face really looked like.

“Huh? Hua Shu, where are you going? Feeling sick?” Miko paused her massage, confused.

*(Way too comfortable!)* I gently moved her hand aside and told her I needed the toilet. She sweetly helped me into a pair of high-heeled slippers. “You’ll get used to them,” she said.

What would I see…?

The girl in the mirror had stunning curves, wearing Yating’s black chiffon dress from yesterday. Arms like polished jade. Legs wrapped in black stockings. But none of that mattered. The face… it looked familiar.

I just couldn’t place it. Probably not someone I’d met recently. Why would she swap heads with me? Nobody hates their own face that much… This isn’t *Liaozhai*—it’s a lighthearted healing story! *(What am I even saying…?)*

As I stared blankly at the mirror, Xiao Shan and Yating called out. They were heading home to explain things to their families, then bringing my stuff back that afternoon. I mumbled a reply and reached for the bathroom door, still wondering who’d stolen my little brother… when—

*Bang—*

“Ow!”

Xiao Ling suddenly yanked the door open and crashed into me. My unsteady legs gave way, and she pinned me to the floor. Her face pressed against my chest… and bounced slightly. No—focus! My sister mattered more.

I worriedly checked on her flushed face. “Xiao Ling, did you fall? Why’s your face redder than this morning? Did you skip your meds?”

“Huff… no, I took them! I’m fine, bro. Don’t worry. Haha.”

Xiao Ling acted so weird today. Had she really wished for something embarrassing last night? Maybe she’d evolve into a Kū-like sister.

“Phew, glad you’re okay. Get up and use the toilet—I’ll step out.” I pulled her arm to stand, closed the door behind me, and glanced back. Her gaze at me grew stranger.

Upset stomach? She’d visited the bathroom twice already.

“Hua Shu, breakfast’s ready~” Miko emerged from the kitchen, holding a plate of fragrant fried eggs.

“Huh? Already done? Whoever marries you will be crazy happy~” I praised her freely. Honestly, I’d say that to any girl cooking for me—picked it up from novels. Supposedly, it makes them smile.

Heh, Miko beamed even brighter, a hint of blush on her cheeks. Was she shy? My thoughts fixated on her face… I must’ve looked like a creep right now.

Miko stared back, captivated. *Hua Shu can smile so beautifully? Wait—I like boys. But Hua Shu is a boy… no, not anymore. Ugh, this is messy.*

“Let’s wait for Xiao Ling. Three people eating together tastes better~” I suggested.

“Sure, sure! You think your sister smells sweet even after the toilet? Hopeless, Hua Shu! Such a sis-con!”

Miko rarely teased me like this. But I owned that label! Xiao Ling was the cutest, after all~ *Ahem, I’m not a sis-con. Don’t get the wrong idea.*

“Bro, you waited for me? Wow~ Fried eggs! Sister Misaka’s amazing!” Xiao Ling dashed to the table. Her earlier blush vanished, eyes normal again. Did my bathroom have healing powers? *Pfft—accidentally roasted myself there.*

“Did you wash your hands? And… who’s ‘Sister Misaka’?” Miko tensed at the unfamiliar name.

Seeing her worry, I quickly explained about Misaka’s fan comics—no, the *Academy City* anime. Honestly, if someone yelled another name at me, I’d check behind me too. Heh.

“Oh, I see. Guess I should try anime too, Hua Shu. Lend me your manga?”

“You’d need a truck… Seriously, my whole shelf?” I joked.

“Just lend me *Academy City*, then.”

“No problem. It’s a classic. I’ll throw in Misaka’s side stories to help you understand.”

“Thanks.”

“My pleasure~”

While we chatted, Xiao Ling ate silently, eyes locked on me. What was up with her today?

“Xiao Ling, something on my face?”

“No.”

“Then why stare?”

“You’re pretty.”

Uh…

“We’ve seen each other forever!”

“Not like this.”

Xiao Ling, you win. You’ve silenced the吐槽 King. I roast even myself when crazy! Yet a little sister beat me. Guess the family genes are strong.

“Mmm, Hua Shu, I’ll head home after eating. Gotta tell my parents about my legs… and that I’m moving in with you. Dad can help carry stuff.”

“They’ll agree?”

“I’ll show them a photo of you. They’ll believe it—my legs are on you now.” Miko grinned confidently.

“Smart. Heh.”

After breakfast, Miko pulled out her phone. “Pose for me. Cross your right leg over the left. Tilt your right foot down slightly~ Perfect.” She snapped a pic highlighting her former legs. It looked… dangerously alluring.

“Hua Shu, I’m off~ Xiao Ling, lend me your sneakers? I’m done with heels.” Miko borrowed my sister’s canvas shoes, slipped them on happily, and left.

From the balcony, I watched her skip away. So cute. My sacrifice was worth it…

“Onii-chan~ What are you doing today?” Xiao Ling chirped adorably.

Her voice warmed my heart. This was my real sister. That “Onii-chan” imitation was spot-on! But the tone reminded me of a classic anime… Which one? Never mind.

“In this body? Staying in. Streaming games today.” I recalled my day job.

“Oh, okay. My homework’s tricky—can you help?”

“Sure. Let’s go.”

I entered her room, unaware of her complex gaze following me. She seemed to be holding something back.

“So, Xiao Ling, which problem’s giving you trouble?” I smiled.

“Call me ‘little sister.’”

Huh? She’d hated that nickname since middle school—said it was childish. What changed?

“Why?”

“Just do it~”

“Fine… Little sister~” I said warmly, nostalgic for childhood days.

But that nostalgia shattered instantly.

Xiao Ling dropped to her knees, grabbed my ankle, and yanked. I instinctively hugged her to avoid falling. Before I could ask why, she slammed me onto the bed. Her hands pinned my chest. Her eyes glowed red. Heavy breaths escaped her lips.

“Sis—mmph!” Her palm clamped over my mouth. *Don’t misunderstand—we’d never kiss! She must’ve tripped and is apologizing.*

“Don’t ask! Ahh~ I can’t hold back anymore!”

She pressed harder, breathing ragged. Thank goodness I had a girl’s body now—or I’d lose control. My face burned. Her grip hurt my chest… and other places ached too.

Wait!?

Huh!?

Everything clicked. Her weird morning behavior. The familiar blue-and-white panties I wore. That unmistakable sensation… Was *it* taunting me?
