“Master, aren’t we fighting the boss yet? I’m bored stiff on this map. We haven’t even seen another player since we started,” Loli Monkey tugged Tianyou’s wolfskin cloak, grumbling.

“Broken gear pieces… dropped by those three mid-bosses. Still missing something to assemble them. Looks like a light crossbow.” Soulshadow Tianyou crouched, her silver hair glinting under sea-blue light, violet eyes flickering.
“Master, the last piece must be on the big boss,” Loli Monkey tilted her head, peering curiously at the parts.
“This’ll be at least a growing legendary weapon… though it doesn’t suit me. Whatever. Let’s go, Little Monkey! Time to fight!”
“Been waiting for you to say that!”
They strode toward the stone statue on the shore.

But this time, their caution was unnecessary.
As they neared the ruined hut’s foundation, cracks spiderwebbed across the statue’s surface. Its limestone shell shattered completely, then ignited into blue flames. The fire dissolved into smoke, vanishing over the ocean.
Everyone knew these statues usually hid grotesque old mermaids—slimy bodies tangled with seaweed.
What emerged now left Soulshadow Tianyou and Loli Monkey frozen.
A breathtaking少女 knelt before them. Pale skin glowed beneath a gown of translucent white gauze, hinting at flawless curves while veiling intimate areas. Unlike Tianyou’s petite demon-like frame, this girl radiated serene, saintly grace.
Except for one jarring detail.
The praying少女—eyes closed, hands clasped, draped in pure white—wore a ram’s skull mask over her face.
“So beautiful… Is this the boss?” Loli Monkey whispered, hiding behind Tianyou.
“Not sure. She’s marked green—non-aggressive. Name shows as ‘???’. Might be an NPC,” Soulshadow Tianyou replied.
“No… I can feel it. She *is* the boss,” Loli Monkey’s voice trembled.
The少女’s eyes snapped open—deep, dark pools that breathed life into her porcelain face.
“More foolish humans trespassing on my master’s domain?” Her voice chimed like celestial bells.
“Who are you?” Soulshadow Tianyou demanded.
“Why disturb my master’s peace?” The girl ignored her, gaze vacant, murmuring to herself.
“We’re not getting through to her…” Tianyou sighed at Loli Monkey.
“Intruders. Die.”
The少女 rose gracefully, her gauze gown fluttering in the wind. Her hands remained clasped in prayer. Her eyes hardened—a human gaze shifting to feral pupils. Within the ram skull’s hollow sockets, two crimson orbs ignited.
