A Poisonous Mushroom plummeted onto a Prayer Beast’s skull and detonated. Five times weak point damage!

Another invisible Poisonous Mushroom dropped next, smashing into a Prayer Beast’s crown. The explosion obliterated it instantly.
This was a landmine-style Poisonous Mushroom… Normally, these invisible bombs could only be planted on the ground and shouldn’t trigger [Face Slap] or [Headshot] on direct head impacts. But if dropped mid-air onto an enemy’s head? Vertical descent guaranteed a skull strike—activating both skills for tenfold critical damage.
Soulshadow Tianyou flipped mid-air, flicking her weapon.

After the barrage, only one Prayer Beast remained, barely alive. The other three lay dead, blown apart by falling mushroom bombs.
Soulshadow Tianyou gripped her Fangblade Shortsword with both hands, blade pointed down. She plunged it cleanly through the last Prayer Beast’s crown, draining its final sliver of health.
*Haaah…* She exhaled sharply, yanked the sword free with a flourish, sheathed it at her waist, and rolled her shoulders.
She glanced back at the half-health Deep Well Overlord—and the Loli Monkey crouched on the ground, frantically chugging health potions.
"Little Monkey," Soulshadow Tianyou called with a smirk, "still haven’t taken down this big guy?"
"Almost there, Master! Just a little longer!" The Loli Monkey stood, health fully restored, and tightened her grip on the Golden Cudgel.
"Go ahead. I’ll cover you."
Soulshadow Tianyou lurked behind, lobbing a Poisonous Mushroom, a Poison Kunai, and three Poison Darts at the Deep Well Overlord.
The mushroom exploded against its back—minimal damage, but poison seeped into its system. The Poison Kunai stacked a second layer. The three Poison Darts guaranteed a third, fourth, fifth… instantly maxing out five poison stacks.
The Deep Well Overlord’s health bar visibly plummeted.
"Whoa…" Soulshadow Tianyou blinked in surprise.
"Percentage-based poison damage works great on bosses, Master," the Loli Monkey explained. She charged.
The Overlord glowed bright green—poison pulses flashing rapidly with each stack. Unfazed, it raised its anchor and slammed it down toward the Loli Monkey’s face.
*CRASH!* Water erupted where the anchor struck.
The Loli Monkey had already sidestepped. Though unharmed, she was drenched and nearly knocked off-balance by the shockwave. Teeth gritted, she braced against the pressure, crouched low, then sprang upward. Twisting mid-air, she swung her Little Golden Staff horizontally—*CRACK!*—right into the Overlord’s eye.
Weak point critical! Double damage!
"Again!" she laughed, spinning in the air.
Three rapid jabs to the Overlord’s head. A standard strike. Then a Headfirst Strike smashed into its forehead.
"*Oh-do~*"
She executed a double jump, flipped backward like her master, and landed gracefully. Staff resting on her shoulder, she stood defiant before the Overlord.
"*ROOOAR!*" The Overlord bellowed, raising its anchor once more.
"*Hehe~*" The Loli Monkey smirked, utterly unimpressed by its death throes.
As the anchor reached its peak, the poison drained the Overlord’s last drop of health. It shrieked—a burst of white data particles exploding where it stood.
The moment it vanished, both Soulshadow Tianyou and the Loli Monkey leveled up three times. Level 18.
"Finally done. Easy!" The Loli Monkey clasped her hands behind her back, wiggling her little butt and tail teasingly at Soulshadow Tianyou.
"Smug? You were too slow," Soulshadow Tianyou chided, stepping closer with a smile.
"Master, check the elite mini-boss loot!" The Loli Monkey tugged her sleeve toward the fading white glow.
"Alright~ Looting’s the best part! Hope it drops another Blink skill book!"
A few coins. Several health potions. And one damaged weapon component…
