The sea is unpredictable. By day, it’s calm and sunny; by night, violent storms and gales rage. In the churning ocean, even a massive hundred-meter ocean liner is no more than a tiny boat. It sways relentlessly under towering waves, as if the next crest will capsize it.

Yet humans never yield easily. Not even to the Divine or demons. Let alone mere stormy seas.

The giant ship plows forward at full speed. It battles fierce winds, smashing through wave after wave. It pushes on stubbornly—yes, man can conquer nature!

So, the most terrifying thing in this world isn’t the raging storm. Nor the turbulent sea. It’s humanity itself.

BANG! BANG! BANG!... After a volley of gunshots, all senior crew in the bridge lay dead in pools of blood. The captain, the first mate—everyone had a bullet hole shot through the back of their heads. And this was only the beginning.

In the cabins, gunfire and screams signaled death and fear spreading fast. Men clad in black, armed with smuggled weapons, began a ruthless slaughter. They showed no mercy, trampling over the innocent to find their target.

In one cabin, the door was locked from inside. The couple had barricaded it with every heavy piece of furniture. They did everything to delay death’s approach.

In a corner, a twelve-year-old boy frantically called for help on his Comm Crystal. Fear made him tremble uncontrollably. Yet he gripped the microphone tightly, repeating as clearly as possible: “This is the ocean liner Sea God. Under attack by unknown assailants. SOS…”

But the Comm Crystal stayed silent. All signals had been intercepted.

BANG! BANG! BANG!... Rifle butts slammed against the door. Death had arrived. The boy couldn’t hold back his terror. He rushed to his father, desperately bracing the door, and wailed: “Ahhh! Dad, Mom, I don’t want to die! Help me!”

“It’s okay, son. We’ll be fine…” His father hugged him tightly, trying to comfort him. Though he knew escape was impossible this time.

The banging stopped briefly. Safe? No—this calm was an illusion. Then came…

BOOM! A deafening explosion blew the door open. The blast hurled the boy against the wall. He nearly lost consciousness. In his blurred vision, he felt a hand grab his shoulder…
