Appendix: Character Profile Sheet

These are only powers shown so far; think of them as ripples on a lake, with deeper currents still hidden. It’s for quick reference, and some may yet reveal strength beneath the surface.

Tiers: Clumsy, Normal, Apprentice, Adept, Professional, Elite, Master, Grandmaster, Legendary.

From strongest to weakest, as currently shown:

Wan Han: gray hair like ash after a fire; 178 cm tall, standing like a lone pine. A Master-tier combatant with shrouded talents, he leads a pack of Murder Fiends like a moon herding wolves.

Yedie Snow (Dixue): silver hair and green eyes like frost on spring leaves; 167 cm tall, light as drifting petals. Mid-Master archer and Special Envoy Ranger, she can cast a wide Dispel Field, Sakura-Flurry: Butterfly Snow, like a storm of blossoms. She’s skilled with other weapons too, a fox-sly tactician with a sweet tooth. She serves as acting branch head of the Rangers Lodge on the Sky Voyager, adores Yue Liuyi, teases her like a breeze tugging a ribbon, yet blushes easily behind a cool façade.

Flame‑Song Princess: red hair and red eyes like ember and garnet; 158 cm tall, small yet fierce as a campfire in wind. Lower-Master puppeteer and flame-weaver; she siphons power from attacks and kindles a domain of fire like a dawn-red horizon. She’s the Third Princess of Dragon Heaven, yet in the imperial capital she’s treated like a shadow beneath bright banners. Old scars knot her mood like tangled strings; she likes Yedie Snow.

Xiang Xiaoyan: violet hair and violet eyes like twilight amethyst; 172 cm tall, lines sharp as a drawn blade. Upper-Elite shadow-swordswoman and assassin; her movement is uncanny, like mist sliding over stone. When she unseals all power, her hair and eyes turn black as midnight, and she reaches Master-tier. She was once a Murder Fiend, with a past buried like bones under snow; in transformation her temperament skews odd, though she keeps reflecting, like a mirror set to the sun.

Maria: short gold hair and gold eyes like coins under lamplight; 166 cm tall, brisk as clockwork. Upper-Elite arcane scholar; thanks to tech and layered tactics, she can trade blows with Masters like iron ringing on iron. She met Dixue and Xiang Xiaoyan later—months now—yet knows little of their earlier storms; she loves games like a cat loves string.

Yue Liuyi: blue hair and blue eyes like lakewater under sky; 162 cm tall, steps soft as rain. She is, in truth, Dongfang Chen; an upper-Elite adventurer, but not yet used to a girl’s body, so in practice she peaks around mid-Elite like a kite not fully caught by wind. A child of Dreamwood Star, she sailed to the New Land seeking a way to save her home, yet in her heart she just wants to stay with everyone, like a swallow seeking its eaves.

Blood Dancer: black hair and brown eyes like wet earth; often wears a blood-red kimono; 170 cm tall, posture straight as a spear. Birth name Hua San; a mid-Elite Murder Fiend who fights with blood-threads, sharp as wire and terrible as a guillotine. A best friend once betrayed her; later, for reasons hidden like mossed stones, Xiang Xiaoyan persuaded her, and she became Xiaoyan’s ally.

Chulei: black hair, usually in a suit, 180 cm tall; he moves like thunder in a suit of clouds. Mid-Elite smuggler; fast as a lightning strike and skilled in fists and feet. An elven girl once saved him; he ferries contraband across the New Land like a shadowed boat, said to aid its fallen natives.

Nightmare Rust: gray robe like misted bark; 173 cm tall, presence thin as smoke. Lower-Elite Murder Fiend; he hunts in dreams, hides within his domain like a fox in thorns, maddening to pin down. He even carries auto‑resurrection, and his escapes are unmatched, like eels in rain—yet he seems to have been slain by Xiang Xiaoyan.

Zero Wei: white hair and teal eyes like seafoam; 156 cm tall, bright as a bell. Lower-Elite ally; codes and cooks with equal ease, and his fluffy orb hides weapons and tools like a hedgehog hides spines. He’s a boy, but among catfolk the gender norms run reversed; he often wears a maid outfit, gentle as warm milk, yet Maria has led him a bit astray like a river tugging a leaf.

Xia Jiajun: black hair and black eyes like onyx; 175 cm tall, manner open as a sunlit road. Power unknown—likely Elite. He serves the Third Princess at arm’s length, yet he quietly does things she forbids if they’re good for her, like a lantern shielding a moth.

Zaocun: dark‑brown hair, black ears, brown pupils; 156 cm tall, quick as a whisker’s twitch. Upper-Professional cat‑ninja; stronger than most girls and deft at lockpicking like a key born to the lock. She came to the New Land for true adventure; broke and drifting like a leaf, she was taken in by Chulei. She loves fish—wave two or three and she’s bought.

Mino: short brown hair and brown eyes like chestnuts; 160 cm tall, sturdy as an oak sapling. Upper-Professional adventurer; mighty as a hammer, a girl who’s always been surprisingly formidable, like a hidden spring under stone.

Detective Chen: 182 cm tall, a bald head shining like a polished helm. Mid-Professional police officer; a lead detective with the Sky Voyager Police, steady as a metronome in a storm.

Kowelairilia von Tiana Sis... (it goes on); goes by Lia: blond hair and violet eyes like twilight wheat and dusk; 167 cm tall, steps neat as lace. Mid-Professional diviner, a Western-world adventurer; her Chinese is middling, so some terms slip like sand through fingers.

Wu Qianying: ship’s doctor on the Sky Voyager; combat only lower-Professional, but her medical skill is at Physician-tier, reliable as spring rain for the wounded.

Tao Xiong and Xu Ding: lower-Professional; members of the Thunderclap smuggling crew under Chulei, both slain by Murder Fiends like candles pinched out.

Gong Linxun: a handsome blond man, upper-Adept, with a smile like a camera flash. He calls himself a freelance journalist, but his hobbies tilt perverse like a lens warped by heat.

Ordinary adventurers: on average Adept-tier, though many veterans reach Professional, and a few are Elite like bright stars scattered across a dim sky.

Ordinary people: on average Apprentice-tier, good for self-defense—like a fence against stray dogs, not wolves.

...

Feng: green hair and green eyes like bamboo and jade; 151 cm tall, small-chested like a flat plain after snow. A maiden of the World Tree; her abilities are unknown, and she isn’t human—don’t measure her with a human yardstick, like you wouldn’t weigh wind on a scale. She witnessed a planet’s ruin and people’s betrayal; she petrified a whole world to halt strife, like frost sealing a lake. She lifts the stone only when she finds a beautiful memory, like sunlight melting ice.
