Eastern Moon Continent—also called the Magic Continent.

As the name suggests, it’s a land where magic is the prevailing tide.

In this world, arcane elements saturate its skies, second only to the Central Continent.

Its magic teaching system is the most complete anywhere, like lanterns lining every path.

Beyond that, a renowned academy rises on the Eastern Moon Continent—Egisia Academy, a lighthouse on storm-blue cliffs.

Egisia Academy isn’t just the finest on the Eastern Moon Continent.

Across the world, its name rings like bronze bells among magic schools.

In this world, half the star-bright mages graduated from Egisia Academy.

Only women, though—Egisia Academy is a women’s college, like a moonlit cloister.

So on the Eastern Moon Continent, people with talent and means to cultivate choose the mage’s road.

Other callings fade like footprints in blown sand.

One more thing: the Demon Realm’s gate yawns on the Eastern Moon Continent, like a black maw.

So Elven Kind seldom appear here; elves and demons are ice and fire, meeting only to kill.

At the same time, the Eastern Moon Continent is hard to reach, walled by storms and distance.

Why? The Endless Sea encircles it like a silver horizon without end.

Crossing the Endless Sea to reach the Eastern Moon Continent is brutally hard, like rowing through iron swells.

They also call the Endless Sea the Sea of Calamity.

Out there, tsunamis, beast tides, and tornadoes erupt like war drums in the rain.

So unless you’re an SSS-class Archmagus with a divine artifact warding you, don’t challenge the Endless Sea.

Or the abyss will swallow you whole, leaving no body, only foam and silence.

...

Beast tide: the days when all the sea beasts in the Endless Sea go mad and surge, a black river of fang and scale.

It hits almost every year and lasts three days, like a storm-clock.
