The blood feud between the Jian Hui Tianxia Guild and Yingning—I remember it vividly.

Yingning’s Gunfire Rose guild was wiped out. Every member suffered Lunbai.

That was the day the little Yatou cried hardest.

“Jian Hui Tianxia members are blocking this place,” Yingning analyzed coldly, “hiding their identities, lying about being from Chaoge. They must be up to something filthy…”

A flicker of pain flashed across Yatou’s face—memories she quickly crushed down. Her expression hardened back into that of an emotionless Female Warrior. “We need to find out what they’re really doing…”

“Exactly!” I blurted out. “Whatever it is, stopping them is always the right call! I still remember those hunters who chased us—they claimed to be Jian Hui Tianxia’s affiliate guild… And now this damn Jian Hui Tianxia is blocking *my* advancement path too? This is unforgivable! Master, let’s slaughter them!”

“No swearing… Actually, whatever.” Yingning suddenly smiled, ruffling my hair. A warmth flickered in her eyes—affection I wished I hadn’t recognized but did.

…Did Yingning just *head-pat kill* me?

Me—the cold-blooded killer—*head-pat killed* by a little girl?

Wait… why does my chest feel weirdly warm? Eep! Am I grinning like an idiot?!

System, you owe me an explosion!

The thought barely formed when heat flooded my face. My tail wagged wildly. A strange fever prickled my skin. Staring at Yingning, my entire vision tinted dreamy pink.

【Affection +2 Loyalty +2】

System Dad, I repent…

*Strong dragon doesn’t press local snake. Tiger stranded on flatland bullied by dogs.* That’s the suffocating feeling.

“Seeing you…” Yingning’s hand lingered on my head, “reminds me of my brother. The way you just spoke—so much like him. If he were here, he’d be shouting the same thing: ‘Revenge for me!’ Even though he was just a weakling…”

*A loudmouth weakling… So that’s how she sees me?*

“Enough chatter,” she said firmly. “Only three entrances here—all sealed. The cliffs are sheer limestone, impossible to scale. But we *must* get inside to uncover their scheme. Here’s the plan: You return to Pet Space. I’ll teleport to town, hire Mercenaries, and try a frontal assault on one entrance.” Her voice softened, coaxing like I was a child. “You can’t risk this with me. Be good~”

Soft white light shimmered around us, deflecting the drizzle. To escape the System’s grip on my emotions, I gritted my teeth and yanked my head from her hand.

I caught a raindrop, then scanned the limestone mountain ahead. “But this would alert them. And you’d declare open war on Jian Hui Tianxia…”

Yingning clenched her fist. “I’ll leave my guild. Any feud will be mine alone. No one else gets dragged in.”

I shook my head. “The cost is too high.”

“We’re just a tiny guild. Just a nobody.” She gave a careless laugh. “What’s a little darkness if it makes a giant like Jian Hui Tianxia *hurt*? I’ll make them remember—even nobodies can carve scars that never fade. Now, back to Pet Space you go—”

“Wait!” I grabbed her wrist.

“What? Time’s short. Unless it’s critical—”

“Oh, it’s critical.” I caught another raindrop, swept my gaze across the cliffs, and confirmed my suspicion.

With a dramatic flick of my snow-white bangs, I let my hair dance in the wind. One finger raised, I shook it dismissively.

“Like… the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth… *hundredth*… *thousandth* entrance!”
