"Oh my~ Where did this wild chicken come from? The wild chicken’s brother? Oh no… sister? Heh…" Xiang Ling sneered disdainfully, shooting me a sideways glance.

"Su Shunhua, little girl, are you sure you want to stick your neck out?" Xiang Renhe teased, raising an eyebrow. His 1.85-meter muscular frame loomed like a small mountain, blocking my path. "If you two sisters don’t want to get hurt, I suggest ending this here…"

Xiang Renhe towered over me by a full head. I was barely 1.7 meters tall—not that I didn’t want to grow; it was just genetics…

Wait—what did you just call me?

Little girl?

I shook my head and scanned the area, finally confirming no one else stood where he was looking except Yingning and me.

In other words… he’d deliberately mocked me with "little girl"?!

After transmigrating, my short stature this life—fair skin, pretty face, and gentle, weak appearance—always got me teased as Yingning’s older sister…

But this was malicious mockery.

Too lazy to waste words, I gently patted Yingning’s back. "You few, apologize."

"Pffft—apologize? With you?" Xiang Ling laughed exaggeratedly, infuriatingly smug.

Then I couldn’t blame myself for flattening her…

*Smack!*

The crisp slap echoed long in the narrow alley.

No one expected me to strike so suddenly, so ruthlessly—a slap to the school board director’s daughter!

"Ugh… damn, your face is hard… ow ow ow, my hand hurts!" I dramatically shook my stinging palm. To Xiang Ling and Xiang Renhe, this act was infinitely more infuriating than her earlier laughter.

"No! Your face injured my hand! Pay up!"

Xiang Ling’s eyes widened in disbelief. Pampered her whole life, tears welled in her eyes.

Slapping someone then complaining of pain? Demanding compensation?

I’d seen shameless people, but never this shameless!

"Bro…" Yingning sniffled, tugging my sleeve weakly, voice trembling with tears. "Don’t hit… you’ll get expelled."

"Su Shunhua, you’ve got guts!" Xiang Renhe’s face darkened instantly, dripping with fury. His sister slapped—he couldn’t stand idle; it was a man’s pride!

His palm swung toward my face.

*Smack!*

I leaped back with Yingning. Xiang Renhe lost balance, his hand slamming hard into the alley wall. The crisp *crack* of palm meeting brick shook the wall itself!

His expression was a mess of pain—every line screamed "Holy crap, that hurts!"

Speechless, he crouched, clutching his hand and gasping… Served him right. His sister bullied mine.

"See? I didn’t hit anyone. He’s just clumsy. Not my fault…" I innocently shrugged at Yingning.

"Su Yingning! Su Shunhua! You lowlifes! You’re dead!" Xiang Ling shrieked, losing all reason.

That slap stung less on her cheek than on her pride—a historic blow to her dignity!

Spoiled rotten her whole life, this lowlife’s slap felt like a soul-deep violation, filling her with nausea and rage!

Like a god defiled by mortals!

"You two—attack! Beat them to death! I’ll take responsibility if you kill them!"

Two silent lackeys in the alley finally moved. Familiar faces—Xiang Ling’s constant shadows, delinquent students always stirring trouble.

*Sigh.*

I didn’t want to kill this life.

I glanced at Yingning in my arms… I wasn’t alone anymore. I couldn’t let her wander the world with me.

I could run after killing, but Yingning? She had no way to protect herself!

Yet facing two figures lunging with Watermelon Knives, grins twisted, I clenched my fists.

Xiang Ling might not truly want us dead—just venting rage. After all, murder and maiming had vastly different consequences… But some idiots wielded her words like a royal decree, reckless and clueless, ready to do anything!

Street fights turning fatal always started like this—ignorance of life’s fragility.

These two meant to cripple us or worse!

Attacking without warning… you’ve gone too far!

My middle fingers slightly protruded into knuckle-dusters. Two punches, and these fools would spend a week in the hospital.

A week later, they’d walk free. But two months after, their Zhongwan points would rupture, bleeding them to death.

For the ruthless, I showed no mercy!

Who cared if you were "just kids"?

"No! Don’t fight!" Yingning cried, suddenly wrenching free and yanking my arm. "Bro! Run! To school—they won’t dare attack there!"

"Huh? But I can beat them!"

The little girl didn’t believe me, pulling with all her might. Not wanting trouble or bloodshed yet, I let her drag me away like a coward.

My methods were subtle, but not foolproof. Better to avoid killing if possible.

But I held grudges! This wasn’t over!

"Cowards! Run all you want! This isn’t finished!" A woman more vengeful than me screamed after us. Xiang Ling’s voice, shrill with rage. "Our entire clan has migrated to Zhui Xun II, focusing all efforts there! Your pathetic Gunfire Rose Guild? We’ll crush it every time you rebuild! Zhui Xun II will become humanity’s entire world—and you’ll have no place in it! You’re finished! You’re dead! Rot in the real world, trash!"

At "Zhui Xun II," Yingning stiffened, nearly stumbling. I caught her just in time.

I squeezed the little girl’s hand gently. "Ignore those fools spouting empty threats. Did you get my gift? Do you like it?"

Seeing light return to her eyes, I finally breathed easier.

This wasn’t over? Right. With you, it’s not over either!

Games? We’ll settle game matters in-game… Real-world issues? I’ll resolve them here and now!

I don’t have time to play games with you!
