Everyone agreed with Roswitha's suggestion.
After the impromptu meeting concluded, the group headed to the grand hall on the first floor.
Roswitha used the item card [Detective] on Leon.
Soon, her Recording Stone displayed a line of information:
"[The King's Old Friend] has not killed any players in the past six hours."
Even though he knew he was "innocent," Leon only heaved a sigh of relief upon receiving confirmation.
Then, he turned to the others, spread his hands, and said, "See? I wasn’t the one who took down Aurora."
"If it wasn't you... then the problem becomes even more serious," Claudia replied. "As you mentioned during the meeting earlier, if the wolf that killed Aurora isn’t you, then it must be someone else. And this individual… has the ability to kill from a distance, making them impossible to guard against."
"The most terrifying thing is—"
Isa took over the conversation at this point.
The elder sister crossed her arms, her red, icy eyes slowly sweeping over the group. "This wolf, who possesses the ability for long-range kills, is among us. It could be Senior Claudia, it might be Little Ros, or… it could even be me."
She then looked at Leon. "So, how do we find this wolf next?"
Leon pondered briefly and responded, "Let’s keep doing tasks. As I think you all have noticed, as the game progresses, more and more valuable information surfaces. Only by quickly gathering clues about the lone wolf’s identity can we help the princess recover the Black Holy Stone."
"Should we pair up, then? That way, the wolf would not dare to attack recklessly," Helena suggested.
If someone got killed while in a pair, then the person with the highest level of suspicion would be their partner.
"But if this lone wolf really has the ability for long-range kills, pairing up won’t work. Instead, it might allow the real wolf to exploit the situation, taking down one good person after another," Noa interjected.
Helena nodded in sudden realization. "I see…"
"Alright, let's keep things as they are for now. If there really is a long-range wolf, we can’t avoid it anyway."
Leon said, "Besides, as I mentioned earlier, for the sake of balance in the game, an ability as strong as long-range killing must have limitations—like a cooldown period, where it can only be used once in a certain timeframe. So, we don’t need to be overly afraid. Let’s calmly do our tasks and gather clues. We’re sure to unmask that wolf sooner or later."
General Leon’s rousing speech sounded nothing like [The King’s Old Friend]; it was much more reminiscent of [The Princess’s Loyal Hound].
Well, he had no choice. Since the other lone wolf had an advantage he didn’t—namely, the ability to "attack"—he could only temporarily align with the good guys to ensure he’d have support when it mattered most.
"Alright, we’ll go with this for now. Everyone, stay vigilant. Also, be careful when pairing up to complete tasks," Isa said. "If there’s no [Emergency Meeting], the next meeting is scheduled to take place at 8 PM."
"Understood. Everyone, stay safe."
After the discussion, the group dispersed.
Leon returned to his floor, with Isa walking ahead of him.
The two reached their respective doors nearly simultaneously.
Yet neither entered immediately.
After a few moments of "holding ground," Isa slowly turned back to glance at Leon.
The red-haired beauty had a faint smile resting on her lips. She softly asked, "Do you have any clues about the lone wolf, brother-in-law?"
Leon shrugged. "Nope. What about you, sis?"
"I don’t have any either."
"Oh… well, it seems tonight will be a busy one. We’re halfway through the game, and we haven’t identified a single wolf yet, let alone retrieved the Black Holy Stone."
Isa nodded. "Indeed. Let’s act quickly."
The brief exchange ended as Isa gently pushed her door open.
However, just as she was stepping into her room, Leon suddenly said something coldly from behind:
"Sis, you seem to remember the meeting schedule very well."
Isa’s steps paused, "Is that a problem?"
"Of course not. It’s just that I admire your memory. With so many meetings throughout the day, you still manage to remember exactly when the next one is," Leon replied sincerely.
Isa smiled modestly. "It’s not that many. I memorized the schedule after reading the rules twice."
"Got it."
The two nodded at each other and entered their respective rooms.

With Aurora eliminated, Muen was left without a teammate. She had no choice but to seek help from Noa.
Initially, she had considered going to her parents.
But Muen figured that might disturb their couple time.
Aurora had once told her that, although her parents seemed to be constantly bickering, they would never miss an opportunity to cozy up to each other whenever possible!
So, Muen headed off to form a team with her sister instead.
When Noa saw Muen approaching her, she was more than happy to let her join.
Muen wagged her tail and the cowlick on her head in delight.
Back when Aurora was still around, Muen had no justification to go to Noa. She could only rely on the [Seven-Day Unbreakable Bond] item to stay tethered to her sister.
But now that Aurora was out, Muen had a perfectly, perfectly, *perfectly* legitimate reason to team up with her big sister!
After running the calculations, Muen concluded:
One Aurora = ten [Seven-Day Unbreakable Bond] cards.
"Aurora, you are my superhero!"
Even though Aurora had "sacrificed" herself, the thought of being able to stick closely to her big sister made Muen feel that this game was nearing perfection.
With Muen in the group, the three dragon girls significantly sped up their task completion rate.
After some searching, they found a room.
In the center was a table topped with several empty glasses and a bucket of clear water.
The trio walked over, and Noa picked up a card from the table. On it were the rules for the game:
"Use your mouth to grip the glass, then transfer the water to the next person. All three must cooperate until the leftmost empty cup is full to complete the task."
"Oh, this looks pretty easy. Let’s start," Noa said.
"Okay, sister!"
The dragon girls lined up in a row.
Muen slyly positioned herself in the middle.
This way, she could keep Helena and her sister apart, preventing them from accidentally getting too close during the water-transfer process.
You thought Muen joined the [Princess] group just to stick to her sister?
Of course not!
The little moon was also here to supervise the group, ensuring the sea dragon girl didn’t seize the opportunity to steal her sister away!
Once everyone was in position, the water-passing game began.
Standing on the far right, Noa first filled her glass with water. Carefully gripping the edge with her mouth, she turned cautiously and leaned toward Muen’s face.
Then, going up on her tiptoes, she tilted the glass slightly to pour the water into Muen’s glass.
During this, Muen pressed her soft, chubby cheeks firmly against Noa.
"Muen, do you really need to stick so close?" Noa asked, her voice muffled by the glass in her mouth.
"Absolutely, sister. We need to avoid spilling water, so we have to stick close," Muen stated matter-of-factly.
"That makes sense."
The sisters, while in sync, took quite a bit of time completing their first handoff.
Moreover, the amount of water spilled was rather frustrating—by the time it reached Muen’s glass, only half remained.
After receiving the water, Muen quickly turned to Helena.
Due to the height difference, Helena had to bend her knees; otherwise, Muen wouldn’t be able to reach her no matter how much she tiptoed.
Noa watched the scene nervously, worried that the slow pace might lead to another spill like before.
But to Noa’s surprise, her sister, who had just been dawdling during their handoff, completed the exchange with Helena in record time.
"So… you were totally faking it earlier, weren't you, Muen!" Noa chuckled wryly to herself.
Silly girl. You just wanted to press faces for a little elder sister, didn’t you? As if no one could tell.
The first round of water transfer ended quickly, but they were still far from filling the glass.
"Let’s keep going!" Muen urged eagerly.
"Hold up," Helena interjected. "I think our positioning could be improved."
Muen blinked, thinking Helena was about to switch her position in the middle.
But instead, the sea dragon girl explained further, "If I stand last, regardless of whether it’s Noa or Muen passing me the glass, we’ll lose a lot of water due to the height difference. So I thought I’d stand first, Muen stays in the middle, and Noa goes last. How does that sound?"
Noa nodded. "No problem."
As long as Muen could still cling to her sister, she had no objections.
The trio adjusted their positions, and the second round began.
As Helena had predicted, swapping positions erased the disadvantage caused by their height difference.
The exchange between Helena and Muen barely lost any water.
And although Muen still took the chance to stick closely to her sister during their turn, enough water remained.
After repeating the process several more times, they finally filled the empty glass.
"Yay~ Sister, you’re amazing!" Muen clapped gleefully. After a pause, she added, "Helena, you’re incredible too."
For all her sister-obsession, Muen wasn’t one to forget her manners when it came to praising others.
Helena chuckled warmly. "Thanks, Muen~!"
With the task complete, a hidden compartment in the table opened to reveal a card.
Noa picked it up—an item card.
