"The snake with a dangling tail... Poof!"
Although Lilith said she wouldn't help Merka, the moment the Owl God appeared, Lilith began to chant a spell.
Unfortunately, the Owl God's reaction was even quicker than Lilith's.
"Get lost!"
The Owl God let out a low roar.
Dozens of huge feathers immediately burst from the Owl God's dark body. Thick and long, they were like iron rods with peacock feathers attached, straight and aimed directly at Lilith.
The hard and massive arrows pierced through Lilith's fragile snake skin as if they were bamboo shoots piercing a water balloon. In an instant, they sent Lilith flying and pinned her firmly to the wall.
Seeing the person who disturbed it vanish, the Owl God brought its terrifying owl head close, sniffing at Merka's scent as if savoring the flavor of the ingredient.
"I'll leave your consciousness to the end..."
"It's not because I can't conquer you, understand, Merka."
"It's just a small habit of mine..."
"A small bad habit."
The Owl God opened its dark bird beak, pressing it against Merka's neck artery that was slowly pulsating with blood, speaking softly.
"Just like you prefer to save the fish in your salmon salad for last—"
"I'm happy to savor the most delicious part at the end."
Merka's eyes widened, staring as the Owl God's large beak approached and bit down on its own neck.
Merka's swollen, darkened neck broke in mid-air, like a colorful python peeking out from the ground.
Cloudy secretions flowed rapidly through the expanding blood vessels and ruptured throat into Merka's brain.
On the brink of death, all survival instincts hit rock bottom.
In the midst of a dark and gloomy frenzy, Merka bared its teeth and retaliated by biting back in the direction the Owl God had attacked from.
"You go to hell!!!"
Merka roared.
As if an endless surge of dark energy emanated from Merka.
Gigantic owl shadows materialized in the air.
It was like a fledgling bird dropping from its eggshell, flapping its wings and fiercely biting the Owl God's cheek, determined to peck it to shreds.
The Owl God also condensed its owl shadow, reciprocating the attack on Merka.
A pitch-black blood rain poured down like a tidal wave.
Darkness enveloped the entire area, the lonely grim reaper ascended to the heights, hollowed out its lungs, spilling its rusted intestines, and eclipsing all light.
Two colossal monsters engaged in primal combat.
Pale claws and fangs froze in mid-air, shattering the firmament.
Flesh, teeth, fists raging like wild tigers and tentacles growing fiercely like tree spirits, violently intertwined, struggling, fighting.
They fought from the ground to the sky, then back down, from the botanical garden area to the zoo, then from the zoo to the corridor.
Countless walls were demolished, roads crushed, ceilings collapsed.
Merka seemed to go berserk, aggressively gripping the Owl God's neck in the dark surge.
The night of death slammed against the surrounding walls, the dying black tide flowed over Merka's solid muscles. Merka seized the Owl God, writhing like an eel, and increased the pressure in its grip.
"You can't kill me... hee hee."
"The stronger the will, the more likely hidden illnesses lurk in the depths of the mind."
"Listen to me, Merka."
"You have nothing left to lose."
"With that kind of mentality, what price can you bear?"
Even with the Owl God pinned down, it still exuded an air of impending victory.
It knew that Merka before it was hanging by a thread.
It wouldn't be long before Merka would be completely re-cognized, assimilated into a true Owl God.
"Just an illusion, right... You damn stupid bird."
"What...?"
Merka's provocation put the Owl God on guard.
Turning to look around, the Owl God realized they had somehow ended up in the Hope Park where they previously visited.
All around were large bags of red powder neatly placed on the floor.
Originally placed on a conveyor belt, the aftermath of their fight had caused them to scatter across the ground.
"When it comes to creating illusions, there's something much more powerful than backdrops and asides!"
"You think I can't bear the cost? You dare say I can't bear the cost?!"
"You clueless bird, you don't know me at all."
"Next, I will show you what it truly means to meet one's end without hesitation!!!"
