The shattered giant tree fell down as if to smash through space and plummeted straight to the ground from the sky.
The murky wings of the owl god absorbed the swirling darkness in the sky, still steadily rising as if on the verge of bursting through the entire botanical garden.
It only fluttered its wings lightly in midair.
The storm that devoured all things instantly filled the entire botanical garden.
Merka's eyes widened as she watched the wooden house at the top of the oak tree fall straight down along with the shattered oak.
In the turbulent storm, Merka floated unsteadily, tossed up and down.
The storm that tore mountains and rivers and engulfed all things seemed to shake Merka to his core.
Merka dared not even open his eyes, fearing that the unpredictable gale would tear his eyeballs out of their sockets on the spot.
"Hey—!"
"Hey handsome! Do you want to survive or not?"
Suddenly, the small door of the wooden house at the top of the storm swung open.
Lilith's distinctive face peeked out from behind the door, resembling a cute little squirrel.
Her dark green hair billowed wildly in the air, her profile scales glowing faintly in the dim sky.
She violently swung her left hand towards Merka, and a snake tail dozens of meters long burst out from her body, wrapping around his left hand in midair.
Merka thought it was a rescue at first, but then a sudden change occurred.
Whether Lilith did it intentionally or not, when the storm heavily impacted Merka, the snake tail abruptly yanked him up and down, grabbing him by his other hand and shaking out the backdrop he held in his hand.
"You...!"
Merka stared in astonishment as the metallic ball that flew out of his hand disappeared into the black hurricane, then turned angrily to Lilith above him.
"Oh dear, handsome, you don't look good when you're angry."
"Don't you want to survive?"
"If you do, then agree to a request of mine."
"Agree and I'll pull you up."
Merka looked at Lilith's mischievous face, alarm bells ringing in his mind.
He recognized this expression, having seen too many women like her.
It was the face of someone holding all the cards.
But now, with dangers all around, Merka couldn't afford to think too much.
He had to make a decision right away.
"Well, what's your request, speak up!"
"Do you think now is the time for a detailed conversation?"
Merka roared. He was already being dragged around by the snake tail in Lilith's hand.
Luckily he hadn't eaten breakfast, or he felt he might have vomited out his stomach.
"I want to see how you look when you eat the forbidden fruit, Merka!"
"You promise me that when the time comes to eat the forbidden fruit, you'll do it in front of me!"
Forbidden fruit... What is the forbidden fruit?
Merka was secretly alarmed.
He was starting to find Lilith more and more peculiar.
Logically, the No-Smoking Zone should be a dead zone by now.
But this woman inexplicably appeared from the No-Smoking Zone, claimed she was about to die, and brought him here for no apparent reason.
He really didn't know what her motives were.
"Fine, fine!"
"I promise, alright!"
Merka saw Lilith was about to drop him, so he quickly agreed.
But instead of immediately climbing up the shack with Lilith's snake tail, he turned around, out of Lilith's line of sight, and discreetly dropped a plectrum servant below.
