"Wait...!"

Merka hurriedly stood up, trying to stop Xiangjun's actions, but it was already too late.

The gray door creaked open as Xiangjun gently pushed it.

Revealing a deeper darkness behind the door.

The figure of a middle-aged man in a cowboy hat stood at the corner of the door. His face was not clear, but he lightly tipped his hat as if saluting or nodding in acknowledgment.

He raised his gray arm slightly, and gray arcs immediately filled his palm, forming a long sword.

In Xiangjun's shocked gaze, a majestic gray mountain descended fiercely as he lifted his hand. When the overwhelming mountain drew closer, Xiangjun realized it was not a mountain, but a surging storm cloud.

The storm cloud spewed out a menacing force that seemed to unleash the power of ten thousand spacecraft. The terrifying roar made one's eardrums bleed. All the rooms and floors behind him seemed like kites with broken strings, drifting towards the sky in an instant with the raging wind.

Xiangjun was petrified. A person who could only handle a spatula and understand a payslip, she had never witnessed such a spectacle.

Confronted by the towering thundercloud reaching ten thousand meters into the sky, Xiangjun's palms began to sweat, her face turned pale and thin, and even the patterns in her eyes twisted like rolling bearings in a kaleidoscope.

The silver-gray arcs surged and ebbed within the thundercloud, like scattered pieces of silver on a colorful beach at night. The breathtaking and terrifying scene resembled the reeds swaying in a marsh, concealing the gaping jaws of numerous crocodiles, waiting to prey on the lost souls.

Facing the endless hurricane and the dense thunderstorms spreading from the gray figure behind him, all of Xiangjun's senses seemed to be thrown into a blender, unknowingly giving birth to hallucinations.

He dreamt of ten thousand cities turned to ashes.

"Is this... is this divine punishment?"

"No, no."

"My God, this is hell, isn't it, my Kagtua God?"

The gray figure resembling a god touched the ground with his feet, floating slowly in mid-air. He raised the gray thunder sword above his head and drew a full arc.

"I am the Grayheart Knight..."

"See me as you see an emperor."

"Those who disobey the rules... violators of etiquette should receive the ultimate death penalty."

The gray shadow calling himself the Grayheart Knight was Beezelbub's most powerful persona next to the nine-tailed fox.

Magic is magic, but ultimately, it is a weapon that Kagtua once used to kill people.

The weapons employed for killing in Kagtua wars were similar to those used in wars throughout history. The types of magic and weapons were equivalent, categorized as earth damage (earth magic), cold weapons, projectiles, poison gas, radiation, freezing (ice magic), electricity, fire (fire magic), and Kagtua's intrinsic backdrop and aside.

Beezelbub's ten personas corresponded to these ten weapons.

You might think that in human warfare, the most killings were done by projectiles or poison gas?

On the contrary.

In the future world, there was no weapon more evil and violent than lightning.

It represented lasers, electromagnetic cannons, and the malicious competition amongst human societies.

The Grayheart Knight represented lightning.

In Beezelbub's perception, the Grayheart Knight was a royal guard robot of a Middle Eastern feudal monarchy.

As international capitalism sped towards self-destruction, the internal chaos and external disunity of this Middle Eastern country led to the Grayheart Knight, embodying extreme violence and authority, becoming the last resort of this crumbling nation.

It symbolized the twilight of literal fallen empires, juxtaposed with facade.

A camel starves to death next to a horse.

The radiance consumed by the meteor of an ancient civilization’s fall is more dazzling than the moon in the sky.

And the Grayheart Knight held in his hand the striking gray weapon and aimed it straight at Xiangjun, who was kneeling on the ground.

"Xiangjun! Move!!!"

Merka stood behind, shouting at the top of his voice, while multiple blue electrical flashes split off from him, all rushing towards Xiangjun at full speed, trying to block this fatal strike.

Seemingly out of time, the Grayheart Knight's hand was mysteriously halted in mid-air by some strange force.

In astonishment, Merka's gaze slightly shifted, following the source of the strange force, only to find George's slender arm bursting with veins.

George stood at the edge of the damaged building, half of her body emerging from the gray thundercloud, firmly gripping the hand of the Grayheart Knight about to strike.

Blood dripped from her forehead, her face filled with cold determination.

"How dare you touch my man..."

"I will tear you to shreds."

Through gritted teeth, she uttered each word painstakingly, squeezing them out from between her teeth towards the Grayheart Knight.
