"You're here early, Your Excellency Anna."

Battling the pouring rain, Merka, wrapped in his cloak, shuffled wetly with tiny steps until he finally squeezed into the house.

Standing under the eaves at the doorway, Merka tapped the dripping umbrella and addressed Anna, who was practicing the violin inside.

Turing led Merka into the house, took off his hat, removed his cloak, and pulled out a handkerchief to wipe the water stains off his face.

"Good afternoon, Anna. Good afternoon, Yorkshire."

There were some water marks on Turing too, but she waved them away with a touch of magic.

Brushing her skirt nonchalantly, she spoke to the two inside the room.

Her natural noble demeanor always made people pause unconsciously, transporting them to the grand scenes of wealth and prestige.

"I had to come early."

"After all, I'm not a Curseborn, so I can't easily memorize the sheet music with a relic like you can." Anna looked at Turing and Merka, their closeness evident, with a slightly acerbic tone.

Anna had been practicing at Lady Marianne's house for several days now. Unlike Merka and Turing, who practiced every other day, Anna was staying at Lady Marianne's house, practicing the violin day and night.

He indeed had some talent, progressing rapidly as even Lady Marianne noted.

Such praise wasn't easily obtained.

Turing hung Merka's coat and hat on a nearby rack as he always did, and slightly irritated, he said to Anna, "Don't speak like that, Anna. Do you want to anger me?"

Anna recoiled slightly, then put the violin back under his chin and started studying the sheet music in front of him.

"It's okay, Turing, just kidding."

"Is it just the two of you at home today, where are the Marianne couple?"

"With such heavy rain, didn't they stay at home?"

Merka smiled faintly, choosing not to dwell on Anna's sharp words.

Adjusting his soggy tie, he surveyed the room but couldn't find any trace of the Marianne couple before continuing, "Umm, they went out... to the fertility clinic."

Yorkshire, who had been lurking in the black grand piano nearby, sat up and turned to Turing and Merka, saying, "Their egg and sperm deposit at the clinic seems successful, and an embryo has formed."

"Judging by how excited they looked, it seems they will be quite busy next," he added.

"Egg... fertilized egg?" Turing's heart suddenly raced, a wave of intense heat rising from the depths of her heart.

She covertly, quietly, and sneakily glanced at Merka, then shyly withdrew her gaze.

"So, Lady Marianne and they have finally conceived a child," she thought.

Deep from her heart, Turing felt genuinely happy for Lady Marianne.

Of course, she also deeply envied them.

To Turing, this kind of ordinary happiness felt as unreachable as the stars in the sky.

"The fertility clinic... they might be back late, I suppose..."

Merka's expression also showed a slight trace of surprise. It seemed like longing and yearning as he nodded in agreement before lowering his eyes, lost in his thoughts.

"Are you guys hungry? How about I cook something first."

"It will be perfect timing to wait for Lady Marianne to come back and eat together."

Merka suggested.

"Okay, okay... alright, I love the dishes cooked by Merka the most!"

Yorkshire said, closing the piano with eyes full of anticipation.

Upon hearing Merka's words, Annak, not far away, seemed a little embarrassed and lowered her head, burying it in the sheet music.

"Come on, I'll assist you."

Turing walked past Merka with a doting smile and headed towards the kitchen.

"Well... hehe."

"Just that, if you keep assisting me like this, I'm afraid I won't even match your cooking skills anymore."

Merka watched Turing's back and felt a burst of sweetness in his heart.

He always felt that every reunion with Turing, he could taste a completely different flavor from her.

Their love was never dull, never lacking.
