Lulu glanced disinterestedly towards cell 667, saying nothing. She rested her hands on the dining table, eyelids drooping lightly, while her left hand idly toyed with the badge on her right shoulder.
"He always eats alone... there's nothing to be done about it."
"Man is a social animal after all, even in prison."
"If you want to socialize, you have to divide people into different classes."
"The nobles look down on the commoners, robbers look down on murderers, fraudsters look down on rapists..."
"Even among the ** criminals, there must be distinctions. If you rape a child, you'll definitely become a target."
"Though it's like pot calling the kettle black, with discrimination and prejudice, people slowly gather in groups."
"And then there are those like him... heh heh."
Lulu chuckled lightly twice, seemingly amused by something.
"..."
"What, are you suggesting he's being ostracized?" Turing asked, puzzled.
"What crime did he actually commit?" Turing gazed at cell 667 in the distance, trying to imagine how the man who often acted slick and improper in front of him could have committed any crime.
At this point, Lulu burst into even louder laughter, leaning on the table, clutching her stomach, gasping for breath with laughter.
"He was servicing a noble during his first night, got so nervous that he bit off the noble's nip*le!"
"Hahaha! Didn't see that coming, did you?"
Lulu laughed uproariously, seemingly indifferent to the gazes of those around her.
Many prison guards nearby seemed accustomed to the antics of this young chief warden. They merely glanced in her direction before returning their attention to their meals, chatting and laughing.
"..."
Turing was not speechless from shock, but from embarrassment.
Can this be said out loud?
Even though he can be casual in front of Merka, hearing such words publicly made Turing blush slightly. He raised his hand and covered his face, gently caressing his cheek.
"Look, see for yourself."
Lulu contemptuously pointed towards cell 667, who seemed to have just finished his meal and was about to get up to take his tray.
Suddenly, he was blocked by several burly men. Their hands pinned him to his seat, rendering him immobile.
A woman with a sly grin sprawled lazily across a long dining table, gripping a fork tightly. It was evident to onlookers that she was not someone to mess with.
Although clearly being bullied, cell 667 shrugged helplessly, wearing a forced smile, showing no intent to resist.
"Aren't you going to do something about this?" Turing asked, perplexed, gesturing towards the scene.
"No need to intervene in such matters... they happen every day in prison," Lulu replied coldly, her lively expression transforming into a cruel smile.
Her slightly raised facial features resembled the intricate patterns on a peacock's tail, unfolding like a fan, the entire spectrum of blue and red feathers swaying dynamically. They seemed like a seductive smile and a signal of aggression at the same time.
"Establishing a hierarchy benefits us in managing the inmates."
"As long as they don't attack the guards or start riots, we don't need to intervene."
"Somebody always has to bear the brunt of it, that way everyone can live happily."
"Are you telling the truth? The analogy here is just like how Curseborn exists in Acadia," Lulu said just as she finished speaking, and 667 was already drenched in vegetable broth. A group of bullies laughed and played around, putting the plate of food on 667's head.
However, 667 only smiled faintly, though this smile seemed a little more forced than before. Perhaps the four words "Curseborn" mentioned by Lulu had stirred something in Turing. Seeing the situation, Turing felt a pang of sympathy.
"I see, every country has its own laws, every family has its own rules."
"Even in prisons, there are rules to be followed."
"If these are the rules of your prison, then let's solve this issue according to the rules of your prison."
Under the prison uniform, Turing cracked her knuckles with slender fingers. She stood up from her seat, muttering something to herself.
"Let's see whose fist reigns supreme."
