"Calm down...sweetheart."

"How could a man possibly have magic?"

"This is just...some little magic tricks to please girls."

Just as Turing was focusing on the hand extended by the man, his other hand reached towards Turing's ear and magically pulled out a string connected with many iron rings.

"Haha, you've never seen this before."

"This is a dreamcatcher."

"When I used to work at the club, many of my customers liked it when I made this for them."

"Girls really have it tough..."

"They have to earn money for their families, and deal with various social obligations."

"When they get home, they might have to endure their husbands' nagging."

"So, in order to help them sleep well, I made these decorations that emit a calming fragrance."

"Just hang it by your bedside, trust me, it will bring you sweet dreams."

【How does he know so much about my troubles?】

【Insomnia, nightmares, stress, and arguing with Merka...】

【Is this guy...crazy or something?】

【Could I have misjudged him?】

Frowning, Turing skeptically accepted the dreamcatcher handed to him by the man.

"Is all this fuss just to give me this thing?"

Turing asked, looking at the mess of decorations around.

His lips twitched involuntarily. Turing really didn't want to show too much kindness to other men. It made her feel guilty as if she were cheating, even if it was just a girl in front of her, Turing would still try to treat her as gently as possible.

Because Turing had changed for the better, Turing thought that she had completely transformed from a semi-angelic being into a good person.

And now that she had become a human, a good one at that, basic sincerity and devotion were required.

"Oh, about all this, it's just to celebrate the arrival of my new roommate."

"Life is short, rare to celebrate."

"So I like to add a bit of ceremony to everything I do."

The man backhandedly produced a yellow plum blossom knife and reached out to hand it to Turing.

"Would you like some cake? My treat."

"No need."

Turing pushed the plum blossom knife back into the man's hand, showing no respect.

"I sincerely, without a trace of malice, advise you that it's better not to get too close to me."

"I am dangerous, more dangerous than all the prisoners in this prison combined, more dangerous than all the wizards in this city combined, even more dangerous than all the wizards of the Western territories, and even all the Maria factions combined."

"What I mean by danger is not just about myself. Of course, it also refers to the danger that those who intend to approach me may face."

Turing pursed his lips, gently raised the dreamcatcher in his hand, and said to the man.

"I'll take this, but other than that, please don't bother with anything else for me."

"I'm probably just going through the motions at the prison anyway, at most one or two weeks."

Intentional or not, as Turing raised his hand, he also shook his expensive diamond ring worn on his middle finger.

With that said, Turing said no more and took a step into his own bedroom, softly closing the door behind him.

"Wait! At least let me tell you my name..."

The man reluctantly grabbed the door, trying to prevent the wooden door from closing tightly against the door frame, but he couldn't resist the terrifying brute force of Turing's steel behemoth.

"I already know your name, Number 667."

A heavy thud responded to the man.

"Heh... It's really troubling... my lord Altria."

"Is it my lack of skill, or is your heart too guarded?"

The man sighed and walked away from Turing's bedroom door, heading straight for the sofa.

"Oh, wait."

"So that's how it is."

Sitting down on the sofa and looking at the untouched white cake in front of him, the man chuckled.

He suddenly remembered that there seemed to be something on the middle finger of Turing's hand.

It was an expensive-looking diamond ring.

That ring clearly meant more to Turing than just being a ring.

With this in mind, the man shook his head in resignation.

He slouched down, feeling lost and unsure of what to do next.

"Ugh... How on earth can I escape from this damn cage."
