"Ah, Turing."

Merka stood at the entrance, about to change shoes.

"You're back."

Turing raised his arms, reaching out to Merka for a hug.

Helplessly gazing at the coquettish Turing, Merka indulgently welcomed him, embracing Turing and planting a deep kiss on his cheek.

"I just got back too."

"Did you miss me?"

Merka tried to put on a handsome, charming smile, but it didn't quite match his demeanor, making him look out of place.

"A little bit."

Turing also smiled, finding Merka's current appearance quite intriguing.

"What's up? Are you in bossy CEO mode today?"

Affectionately patting Merka's chest, Turing leaned into Merka's embrace, feeling a sense of shared happiness like the evening tide washing over Turing's heart.

"Oh."

"What's this?"

Turing touched Merka's chest and found a jade necklace in addition to the Bastet relic Merka was wearing.

"Ah, today Lady Maria took me to the Mage Association..."

"She helped me register for the Ultimate Mage certification."

"So many things to do, such a hassle."

Turing looked up and saw the desolate look in Merka's eyes. She knew Merka wasn't afraid of trouble. It was just that a visit to the Mage Association would certainly invite shock and criticism from the staff there.

When Turing was eight or nine, she had also gone there to apply for the Ultimate Mage certificate. Back then, she had also faced strange looks and questioning from others.

"This jade ornament is a token sent to me by the Mage Association."

"It looks like a lock."

"According to foreign terminology... it's probably called a longevity lock."

"The people at the Mage Association must have customized this jade piece according to the title Lady Maria gave me."

A smile crept upon Turing's lips, a sweet and heartfelt expression, genuinely happy for every step of Merka's progress.

"You have a title now... what is it?"

After a moment of silence, Merka looked awkwardly at Turing.

"They call me... Jade Lock."

"Huh? What does that mean?"

"It implies that I am a tool used to lock you up... There's nothing I can do about it. I've already made so many demands to them, it's understandable if they mock me a little."

"This won't do!"

"I'm so annoyed, this Maria, I'll go and confront her..."

"Hey, don't, when I applied for registration, I had already submitted the application form. Let's not bother them anymore."

"No, I must..."

Turing turned to leave through the main entrance, forgetting Dunkirk was still at the door.

Dunkirk's slightly taller figure compared to Turing's blocked the setting sun's red light outside the door.

"Hey hey hey."

"Women, they step into the room and forget about me in an instant."

"And you, Merka."

"Just now calling Turing's name so affectionately."

"Sigh...Dunkirk...instructor?"

At this moment, Merka also realized that while being too engrossed with Turing, she hadn't noticed the elegant woman standing at the door.

Her expression immediately tensed up, Merka awkwardly put on a smile.

"Are you really going to stay here?"

"Of course."

"You wouldn't want that rough Bordeaux girl moving in, she snores when she sleeps!"

"Marseille is no good either, always wearing a stern face, does that make you happy?"

"Everyone else is busy, I'm the only one with time on my hands."

"Just relax, since people are coming anyway, I am a very good choice."

Seeing Merka still hesitating a bit, Dunkirk grew a bit impatient and gestured towards her own suitcase.

"Go, help me pack the suitcase."

"Be quick, don't dawdle like you used to during training."

"You've never been good at physical endurance since you were young, let me see how you are now."

"You...stop bossing him around, I'll do it for you."

Turing reached out to take the suitcase.

Looking at the straightforward Turing in front of her, Dunkirk twitched her mouth and took back her suitcase, walking ahead on her own.

Turing promptly followed.

Glancing at the scratching his head and seemingly aggrieved Merka, Turing stuck out his tongue, making an apologetic expression towards him. Merka deeply sighed.

The two lovebirds exchanged emotions through subtle expressions as they passed each other.

"Teacher~"

"We'll be living together from now on, you can't make things difficult for him anymore!"

Turing, acting spoiled, hooked her arm with Dunkirk and led her upstairs, while a few tentacles behind them carried some luggage.
