Chapter 254: You Deserve It

"Is it over?" Turing stretched his hands over his head, twisting his fingers and yawning lazily.

There were large pits and holes everywhere around him from the explosions, and nearly half of the land on Heart Island had sunk to the bottom of the lake. A magnificent crescent-shaped stone beach appeared on Heart Island.

From the beginning of the first lesson to the last lesson, Turing had completed the training in just one week.

"It's even easier than the usual magic theory exams," Turing thought indifferently.

"Yes, it's over."

"According to Maria-sama's wishes, the Black and White Swords should be handed over to you, Noel."

The shiny and merciless two swords were handed to Turing, and Dunkirk smiled like a heavy burden had been lifted.

"So, I have another student to teach."

"I'm so happy to have such an outstanding student like Tucoco."

Dunkirk walked slowly towards Turing, straightening her slender waist, and gently placed her hands on Turing's shoulders, looking intimately into his eyes.

Her eyes, which were as pure as a crescent moon, stared at Turing, making him feel a bit uncomfortable.

"You are my pride."

Unexpectedly, Dunkirk suddenly kissed Turing's forehead.

Turing was startled.

Has it been said that Dunkirk, one of the Twelve Disciples, is a woman who is cold on the outside but passionate on the inside? Turing had never heard of it.

Right now, Turing only felt that this woman was warmer than the last bit of ice melting on Spring River, and softer than the densest handful of sand by the edge of a cold pool.

Turing never expected that within just one week, he would hear words that he had never heard from his mother after a lifetime of striving, struggling, suffering, and shedding blood, tears, and sweat. Three different people had said those words to him in such a short time.

Well, Turing was really embarrassed. She was momentarily unable to accept the privilege of enjoying such honor.

Her shy hands toyed with the hem of her clothes, and a blush spread from Turing's cheeks to her ears.

Those sweet and sugary ears of Turing, like the most appetizing, mouth-watering pastries in the world, made Dunkirk almost unable to stop herself from taking a bite.

However, just as Dunkirk was about to act on this thought, Turing pushed away the woman who was about to do something indecent.

"Well... I should go now."

"It's been a week since I last saw Merka. He must be worried about me."

"Maria said I could leave after the class, right?"

Dunkirk was suddenly taken aback by Turing's words, and her expression immediately became subtly playful.

"Oh... right."

"Speaking of Merka, the people at the hospital told me that a boy comes to the nurses' station every day to deliver breakfast and says it's for you."

"That must be Merka."

"Huh?"

Turing's hair, as red and fragrant as red wine, suddenly rose like a cat's fur.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Turing stomped in anger.

Dunkirk shrugged his shoulders and smirked, as if he didn't feel any responsibility at all.

"I was afraid your training would suffer," he replied.

"His Holiness, the Pope, also told me not to say anything."

Upon hearing this, Turing completely lost control.

"Mer... Mer, Merka wouldn't think I'm already dead, right?"

"I'm so angry with you, you and Maria... the two of you!"

"I'm going to the hospital immediately."

Turing turned to look at the vast lake in front of him, and the Royal Hospital on the other side seemed as small as a sesame seed.

He slightly crouched down, arching his body, and some muscles bulged on his slim legs, assuming a long jump posture.

Others might find it confusing to see Turing like this, but Dunkirk, who had taught Turing for almost a week, understood that Turing could easily jump over the several kilometer distance with just one push of his legs.

"Wait, just a moment."

"If love is to be lasting..."

Dunkirk intended to say a few more words, but he noticed Turing's expression at that moment, with a look of a shattered image, disdainfully looking at him.

Dunkirk awkwardly smiled, took hold of Turing's hand, and leaned closer to Turing's ear, whispering softly.

"Besides the Black and White Sword, I also have a gift prepared for you personally, in my own name."

Turing frowned, looking confusedly at Dunkirk's hand searching inside his coat.

"Ta-da!"

A blue dress, as light as white clouds, magically emerged from Dunkirk's not-so-bulky wolf fur coat as he gently pulled it out.

Brand new, with even the tag still attached.

"This is a gift to celebrate your transformation into a girl... no, I misspoke."

"This is..."

"A tribute to celebrate you finding your true self."

Turing looked at the patterns adorned on the dress like stars, and the snow-white dress itself. His hands trembled as he accepted it.

"Teacher... This."

Turing was deeply moved, his heart burning with happiness, and his eyes gradually becoming misty.

Looking up, Turing didn't expect his gaze to meet Dunkirk's starry and watery eyes.

"Don't refuse."

"Because you deserve it."

She said.
