The camera returns to Samir, who is confronting the Sons of Curse.
"You must be Miss Turing, am I right?"
"Ever since we were forced to hide in the mountains, our brothers behind us have been starving for days."
"It is well-known that the Sons of Curse do not leave a bone when devouring their prey."
"We don't mean to trouble you."
"Hand over this person you intended to kill."
"Since you're going to kill him anyway, why not let us fill our stomachs?"
Mulan spoke, whether joking or metaphorical.
His unserious tone didn't bring reassurance, but instead a sense of danger.
"Quit playing around."
"Crotto doesn't have an orphanage."
"The local Sons of Curse either ran off to other territories or died."
"Where did you come from, falling from the sky?"
Samael looked down upon Mulan in front of her, then scanned the crowd of tens of people surrounding him.
"Hmph..."
"With so many people, they must have heard our conversation and are too scared to attack openly."
"Oedipus's people will soon be drawn by Dickens's magic."
"If you secret mice dared to be discovered by the Altria family..."
"You won't be forgiven until you're ground into pulp."
Though Samael said this, she did not continue strangling Dickens.
Instead, she chose to wait for the right moment, on guard against any sudden attack from the black-clad men.
"So, there is no room for negotiation."
Mulan's cloak's brim raised a pair of cat ears.
He stooped down like a true cat and lightly supported himself on the ground, shaking his ears.
As soon as Mulan finished speaking, Samael had a feeling that something was off. However, she couldn't imagine what the other party could do to her.
Samael furrowed her brows, focused her attention, and fully guarded against the person in front of her.
Mulan's posture, poised for an explosive burst, was filled with the potential for running. Looking closely, faint arcs of electricity could even be seen flickering around him.
Suddenly, as if a hand had tapped Samael's shoulder from behind.
"What?"
Samael hurriedly looked behind but found nothing there.
Surprised, Samael realized she had been tricked.
She quickly turned her head and witnessed the most shocking sight she had seen in three years.
A streak of azure lightning tore through the silent darkness of the forest. Cloaked in mysterious horror and unrivaled speed, it ripped the soil apart wherever it passed.
In that instant, it seemed as if the entire world had paused. The falling dew, drifting fallen petals, and soaring nightingales were all suppressed by his aurora.
And yet, he effortlessly dashed through this frozen world—breaking all constraints, disregarding all restraints, willfully darting through.
Samir's entire field of vision was momentarily dazzled by the sudden flash. When he regained his senses, all that remained in his hand was a piece of Dickens's shattered tracheal tissue.
"What... a talented person among the Sons of Curse?"
Samael became interested, looked around, but realized that Mulan had long disappeared.
Only left with lifting weapons and reciting incantations, they prepared to attack the cursed children of Samael.
"What are you looking at? Aren't we going together?"
Samael smiled faintly and motioned with his hand.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Mulan held Dickens and blinked, appearing in a safe place.
"I've given you a simple treatment, wait for Oedipus's people to rescue you." Mulan disdainfully let go of Dickens.
Although the mission included the rescue of Diana's people if necessary, Mulan was too lazy to personally save the nobles.
"Uh... ah."
Seeing Dickens with a ruptured windpipe, but still wanting to say something, Mulan frowned.
"Alright, you won't die. So, like I said, the nobles really are..."
Mulan was about to stand up, but her clothes were grabbed by Dickens.
"What are you trying to do?"
At this moment, Mulan was moved by her strange actions and decided to heal her to see what she wanted to say.
But Dickens suddenly struggled, one hand pulling on Mulan's sleeve, the other hooking around Mulan's neck, directly using vocal magic to pour the sound into Mulan's mind.
"You... " Mulan was surprised, wanting to throw Dickens down, but the voice had already come in.
"That person isn't Turing!"
Before Mulan could even process this sentence, Dickens immediately fainted.
"That person isn't Turing... what does that mean?"
"Could it be that the current one is an imposter?"
Mulan looked towards the battlefield where Samael was fighting the cursed children in the distance.
"Does Turing really have an accomplice? Is what Victor said true?"
-----------------------------------------------------------
"How is this even possible for a human?"
"No... even a demonic beast shouldn't have such abundant stamina."
What the cursed children couldn't accept was that the Turing in front of them really didn't use magic. He only used firearms and fists to disastrously wound them.
And now, the Turing in front of them even stopped using guns to save bullets. With one powerful kick, he shattered a long spear, and with one big leap, he avoided a fireball.
The encirclement formed by dozens of people looked like a joke, with Samael, who was surrounded, easily toying with them.
Angered, the cursed children didn't care if the larger-scale magic would ignite the forest anymore. They all attacked Samael without hesitation.
A cursed child with stronger magical powers flew into the sky using wings, raising a burning arm and pointing directly at Turing who was darting around on the ground. Angry magma rained down, covering an enormous range with almost nowhere to hide.
However, Samael stepped on a tree and jumped several meters into the air. Frantically hopping and flying on different trees, he not only evaded the magma but was even faster than those cursed children who used wings to fly.
Samael acted swiftly, grabbing one of the cursed children who was also flying in the sky and couldn't avoid him in time, directly attaching onto him. He firmly locked the cursed child's neck and tied up his limbs like an octopus.
"Fly me towards that person, or I'll break your neck."
Samael pointed with his remaining free finger at the cursed child who was releasing the lava.
"If you understand human language, then do it quickly!"
