As long as there is light, even moonlight, is it enough?

"Is this the Stargazing Cliff?" Diana and Turing emerged from the sparse jungle, arriving at a towering cape.

The surroundings were barren, and the raging waves below the cape roared with reckless fury. Even from a distance, Turing could hear its ferocious power, capable of swallowing mountains and rivers.

"This is the highest point, but where is the Starry Society?" Turing sensed that something was amiss. She had to take responsibility for Diana's safety, so her danger intuition was particularly sharp.

"The starry sky here is indeed very bright, though." Turing turned her back to the jungle and gazed at the deep starry sky, sighing.

"Never mind, sis, let's just begin." Diana took out a cute little red rope.

The rough texture and frayed ends indicated how diligent its owner had been in practicing.

"Come on, just like before, let's do it again."

Turing watched Diana's nimble hands guiding the rope, unsure of what to do.

"Look... like this... and like this..."

Turing concentrated as she watched Diana manipulate a complex knot, completely unaware of the impending danger.

"Sis!!!"

Diana pushed Turing away just as she was about to be struck by a sharp blade. A hideous creature, with a repulsive appearance, emerged from the jungle, brandishing a dagger and lunging towards Turing, only to be blocked by Diana who had swiftly positioned herself in front.

Flickering torches burst forth from Diana's hand as a fiery sword composed of flames blocked the creature's dagger. Undeterred, the creature formed a massive arm made of molten lava with its other hand, and, utilizing its height and arm length advantage, relentlessly closed in on Diana.

With no other choice, Diana kept retreating, though she knew that behind her was a cliff.

"Sis, use your magic!"

Diana's piercing scream jolted Turing out of her daze.

Turing panicked, desperately watching Diana. She wanted to do something, but she couldn't do anything.

"Sis! What are you waiting for!"

"You're much stronger than me!"

The creature's dagger gleamed, taking advantage of Diana's momentary distraction. Swiftly, it lunged towards Diana's hand gripping the fiery sword, intending to sever it.

A crimson arc of blood cut through the air as a half of Diana's hand fell to the ground.

"Ah!"

How could such a young child endure such excruciating pain? Diana was immediately overwhelmed by agony, dropping to her knees, sobbing.

The creature took a few steps, building up momentum, and raised its leg to kick Diana in the face.

Witnessing this strike about to land on the head of a five or six-year-old child, one couldn't help but imagine this immense force possibly obliterating Diana's skull.

However, a gust of wind swiftly blew by, and Turing, appearing suddenly, delivered a powerful kick right in the middle of the creature's only leg used to maintain balance. This single blow from a child caused the adult to lose balance and fall to the ground in pain.

Turing had just thought of pressing on the attack, but a bright arrow flashed before Turing's eyes.

She suddenly realized that her vision had disappeared, along with a faint consciousness, drifting in the sea of nothingness.

[Does he have a companion?]

That was the last thing that crossed Turing's mind.

"Sister!" Diana's eyes were full of disbelief. Her impression of her sister, who seemed to be capable of anything, was that she had been struck in the eye by an arrow that came from nowhere, piercing through her brain.

The grim hook on the arrow pierced into Turing's eye socket and protruded from the back of her head.

Anyone with a keen eye could see that Turing's brain had been pulped into fragments.

Turing fell to the ground like a severed wire.

Another strange person emerged from the trees, came to Turing's side, picked up the motionless Turing, and headed towards the cliff.

"You trash! Go die!" Diana stood up from the ground again, her eyes filled with madness.

She summoned the Flame Sword with her other hand and desperately swung it at the strange person carrying Turing.

However, she failed to notice that the strange person who had been knocked down by Turing had already gotten up and was running towards her. He ran towards her with insane momentum and crashed into Diana.

Diana, taken aback, was shaken violently as if her organs had shifted.

She suddenly felt herself floating, like the fiery clouds burning on the horizon, soaring into the sky.

The loving blue sky, like the ebb and flow of the sea, poured out its radiance, and countless irrelevant consciousness flooded into Diana's brain.

She felt as if she had suddenly understood everything.

When she came back to her senses, she found that she had already flown off the cliff.

The violent feeling of weightlessness came late, as if a scream that would tear her viscera apart was about to burst from Diana's mouth.

She tumbled madly towards the surging waves and the hard cliffs below.

"If you want to die so badly, then go with her." The strange person snorted and threw Turing's body off the cliff, clapping his hands.

"We should leave, it's getting dark." Another person said.

"I know."

"The police don't have the guts to fight us head-on. As long as we hold out tonight and gradually send our own people away, we will win."

"Yes, you're right."

"Our revenge is complete, everything will be fine." The two looked at the moon that seemed to be climbing up the mountain, hiding in the chaotic jungle.

---------------------

"Sister... Sister?"

"Are you alright?"

Turing opened her blurry eyes, looked around, and saw that she was surrounded by hard stone walls and twisted stalactites.

The calm seawater washed over her lower body as she lay there, and Turing realized that she was probably in a coastal cave.

"I... I'm okay."

Turing's memories were fragmented. She felt like she had been pierced through the brain and died, but she had no idea how she had come back to life.

"What about you?" Turing looked at Diana, the remaining sunset shining on her face, making her look infinitely gentle and lovely. Turing had never seen the lively and mischievous Diana show such a gentle and considerate expression before.

"I... I'm okay too," Diana lightly bit her lip, leaning on Turing's shoulder, her hair and clothes completely soaked by the seawater. The icy seawater and the stone floor gave her innocent cheeks a touch of rosy glow.

Neither of them mentioned how they had survived, they simply quietly felt the lingering warmth from each other.

"Sister... we can't go back," Diana said.

"When we fell, I used up too much magic to protect myself."

"Now I don't have much magic left."

Diana's voice sounded as calm and gentle as the sea.

"And besides,"

"The nearest harbor is at least a hundred kilometers away."

"The coastline is so high, it doesn't seem possible to fly up there."

"What should we do now?..."

Turing leaned against a large rock and measured the water level with her hand, feeling that it had visibly risen from when she had first awakened not long ago.

"It's the night of the full moon today."

"The tides are rising so rapidly, we can't stay in this cave."

"The seawater will soon flood in completely."

"It's alright..."

"You rest and conserve your energy for a while. Let me think about what we should do, okay?"

Diana fell silent.

The two watched as the sunlight outside the cave gradually disappeared, waiting for the golden moon to rise from the sparkling horizon.

The tense and desperate atmosphere slowly dissipated with the romantic scenery.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Turing asked impulsively, looking at the moon about to break free from the flawless arc.

"Beautiful," Turing turned around and realized that Diana was not looking at the moon, but at her own face.

"You have always been beautiful," Diana said.

Taking a deep breath, Diana pulled her right hand out from the ground. Turing saw her briefly apply a flame to her injured hand. Although it stopped the bleeding, it turned red and purple, swollen to the point that it was difficult to look at.

"Sister, do you want me to perform the rope trick again?"

"As long as we make a wish, we will be saved."

Turing lowered her eyelids and looked closely at Diana's almost bloodless cheek, breathing softly.

"But your hand can't do the trick anymore, right?"

"And we don't have any more ropes either," Turing said in a calm tone.

Diana gently shook her head. She untied the hair tie from both sides of her double ponytail, handing it to Turing.

"The sister can tear the hair tie apart and tie it together to make it long enough for the rope trick."

"As for how to perform the trick,"

"I plan to let the sister hold the rope, and I will manipulate it with one hand."

"Even if I bite with my mouth, there's no other way now."

"Are you coming? Sister."

"If you've forgotten how to do it again, I'll teach you step by step."

The moon finally rose, and the salty sea water had already flooded Turing's navel.

Under the flickering moonlight, Diana's sweet smile was like the bent tracks under the constellation of Wen Shu, flawless and shining with silver.

"Alright..." Turing forced a smile, "I understand."

【So happy.】

【Truly happy.】

Listening to Diana's almost childlike tone, carefully teaching every detail of pulling and flipping the string, Turing felt an unprecedented sense of happiness.

This was different from the happiness he felt when he achieved something and his mother praised him.

That kind of happiness was like cigarettes, no matter how much you smoked, it was never enough.

But now this kind of happiness was like preserved fruit.

Just take a gentle bite and your mouth will be filled with sweetness, filled with tenderness. The clear cake fragrance was more effective than a lullaby, quickly luring one into a sweet dream.

True happiness brings satisfaction, not just endless desires.

"Alright, this is the last one."

Turing flipped the rope one last time and asked softly.

"Do you have any wishes you want to make?"

Diana took the rope, gave it a slight tug, and considered this to be the completion of the final trick.

"Of course, I hope we can be saved."

"Ah, yes." Turing smiled and put the rope aside.

I hope for that too."

"But... can I ask you, if you could make a wish for yourself, what would you wish for?" Turing finally asked the question amidst the good atmosphere.

"You should have mentioned it before... I'm sorry, I forgot."

Turing looked at Diana, who was surprised, and mentally prepared himself to be scolded.

"Sister is really forgetful."

"I actually never mentioned it once."

Diana hesitated for a while and continued.

"I thought this wish was too difficult to mention."

"So I didn't plan to tell you."

"But since it's come to this point, I will tell you."

"After all, there may not be another chance in the future."

Diana brushed her wet bangs with her hand, and Turing saw the pain in her broken hand, which she was almost breaking the fingers of, making her fingers turn red.

But when they were flipping the rope just now, Diana didn't say a word about this wish.

"My parents always argue and sometimes even throw furniture."

"Every time I try to understand why my parents are arguing, they would just dismiss me."

"Although Mom is strict and Dad is gentle. Maybe their personalities are different."

"But this shouldn't be a reason to fight."

"I just want my parents to make up, at least, and let me know why they argue."

"That's my simple wish."

"..."

"Yes, this is the final hurdle."

"Why am I still pretending?"

Turing looked at the moonlight appearing in the cave, feeling her energy gradually draining and her breath becoming heavy. She had a sensation in her heart.

"It doesn't matter if I say it."

"After all, it's the end."

"Oh, by the way, does Diana want to know my wish?"

"My wish..."

Boom!!!

A thunderous sound echoed through the entire city of Alexander Port, causing even the cave where Turing and Diana were located to tremble slightly.

And after this sound, came the second, the third, the fourth!

The dreadful shockwave that devastated the universe hit the ground like raindrops, and the seismic tremors constantly struck Alexander Port.

Turing was interrupted. Startled, she quickly got up and struggled step by step across the thigh-deep seawater, running to the mouth of the cave to look outside.

"What...?" Diana followed closely behind Turing and witnessed the astonishing scene.

"The constellations... stars are falling!"

"Sister! Stars are falling!"

"We did it!"

Turing was shocked and delighted, watching the meteor-like huge stones falling from the distant clouds, not knowing what to say.

Without hesitation, Diana immediately clasped her hands together and began to pray.

Turing did the same, continuously reciting her wish in her heart, hoping to escape from danger.

But it seemed that Diana's thoughts were different. Turing couldn't suppress her innermost desire anymore.

"Oh, how great it would be if I were a girl and knew magic!"

The uncontrollable thoughts burned like fire and bit into Turing like a snake, spreading unbearable pain from the depths of her heart.

Turing felt like she was about to die, about to die from happiness and pain.

This was the most difficult time she had ever experienced in her life!

Turing couldn't bear it any longer. She turned to look at Diana and was surprised to find her staring coldly with her bright eyes.

"D-Diana?"

The rising moon scattered its sparkling moonlight, and the brilliance of the full moon seemed like a calm vortex, entering Diana's eyes.

"Now that I think about it, Diana probably made her own wish back then."

"Indeed, after that, Diana learned the reason why her parents were fighting. I also gained the power to use magic."

"This should have been a happy ending for everyone."

"Why did it turn out so different from what I originally imagined?"

Turing caught a glimpse of her own face in Diana's mirror-like eyes.

Her face, twisted and deformed with tentacles, was being torn apart by an arrow.

Suddenly, Turing remembered something.

The reverse meteor, the surging magical power, soared into the sky.
