"Abdiel..."

"Do you remember?"

"You called me a fake."

"And now?"

Lucifer sat at the highest point of this hellish former research institute.

He calmly watched the continuous procession of people dying below the skyscrapers and chuckled softly.

"Abigail, Abigail."

Lucifer gently stroked the cultivation tank embedded in the glass floor beside him.

Inside this coffin-like cultivation tank was Abigail, who had already become completely deformed.

Tentacles and black skin intertwined on her body, and the scent of death clung to him like the rough skin of a toad.

"My onion girl."

"Spicy with a complex flavor."

"Beneath the layers of disguise lies a tear-jerking softness."

"Upon closer inspection, one cannot ignore that hidden touch of sweet and savory."

"What do you want me to do with you?"

"Hmph..."

Lucifer snorted coldly and punched the cultivation tank.

Fine veins instantly covered the entire glass.

Disgusting, sticky nutrient solution leaked out all at once.

Along with the ooze came Abigail, who was completely deformed all over.

"You wanted to defeat Oedipus in the competition."

"You were so jealous of her, weren't you?"

"That's why you eventually accepted the call of the cuckoo project."

"Attempting to gain angelic power and wisdom through organ transplantation."

Oedipus lifted the limp Abigail from the ground, resembling a lump of mud.

Although she still had breath and a stable heartbeat, Abigail's eyes were incredibly clouded and her consciousness was nearly nonexistent.

She was like a corpse.

"But you didn't expect this, did you? These scum, these wretches."

"They could commit such inhumane acts for their own benefit."

"After they took you away, they immediately put you on the missing persons list."

"While cutting off all means of communication with the outside world."

"And imprisoning you in this mechanical jungle."

"Continuously dissecting you and using you for experiments."

Lucifer looked at Abigail, who remained silent like a corpse before him.

Knowing that she couldn't handle the transplantation of angelic organs, her mind had been overwhelmed by the enormous amount of information.

She had gone mad.

"But now there's a perfect opportunity for you to exert your power, isn't there?"

"Seek revenge."

"Send those ignorant, foolish, hopeless people."

"To the true hell..."

Plap.

The sound of muscles tearing echoed, and the scent of black blood, like gasoline, immediately wafted into Lucifer's nostrils.

Confused, Lucifer glanced at the hand holding Abigail.

Lucifer discovered that the back of his right hand, along with the thumb, had been completely bitten off by Abigail.

"Oh?"

"What do you mean by this?"

Losing his fingers, Abigail broke free from Lucifer's grasp.

Abigail lowered her head to look at Oedipus, but her bewildered gaze seemed like a shackle, preventing this trapped beast from appearing menacing no matter what.

"Are you inviting me to kill you?" Lucifer smiled indifferently.

"Your whole body is a weapon, I cannot leave it to the McNewdeau family."

"Oedipus has too many weaknesses in the memories he brought me."

"First it was you, then Pandora... and finally Prometheus."

"I will eliminate them one by one."

A small red fox gracefully emerged from the shadow of the building, swaying its enchanting nine tails behind it, with an elegant and noble posture.

Jumping onto Lucifer's shoulder, the fox licked its fur, its movements light and graceful.

"Beelzebub, you're here."

"Pandora, Maria, and Gabriel, where are they? Did you catch them?"

The fox shook its head and whispered something in Lucifer's ear.

"I see..."

"It's not surprising, that group of old folks must have anticipated this outcome."

"They must have prepared many countermeasures, it's not strange if they managed to escape."

As Oedipus and Beelzebub ignored her, Abaddon's gaze became increasingly clouded.

Profound thoughts of death were engraved in Abaddon's mind.

Having detached from the tranquilizers of the culture medium, her eyes were gradually filled with the flames of irrationality.

Madness! Profound madness!

A human body cannot accept the wisdom of a god.

Since the moment you entered this bottomless abyss.

You can never extricate yourself, nor escape any calamity.

Only a dead end awaits.

"Roar!!!"

With a roar, Abaddon rushed towards Lucifer.

Her fluctuating tentacles seemed to tear the latter into pieces.

"Beelzebub, kill her."

Lucifer's red lips parted lightly.

An outrageous and exaggerated pillar of fire shot out from the fox's nine tails.

In an instant, the pillar of fire engulfed Abaddon's entire body from the neck down.

The god-like pillar of fire turned Abaddon's body, along with numerous residences and research facilities behind her, into ashes.

Abaddon's decapitated head fell to the ground.

Her dim, chaotic eyes still remained open, making it difficult to determine life or death.

"You said you wouldn't come looking for me."

"But you still came."

"You clearly didn't stick to your original intentions."

"And ended up in this state, neither human nor ghost."

"That's why I said..."

"Both of us are impostors."

"You're not the original Abaddon, and I'm not the real Oedipus."

Lucifer approached the isolated head and sank his four fingers into Abaddon's delicate hair ends.

Holding onto the hair, he gently lifted the head and smiled.

"Although the appearance has changed."

"But the memories are not fake."

"It's a pity that humans hold memories so dear."

"Today, let me also indulge in the commonplace."

Holding Abaddon's head, Lucifer approached the edge of the rooftop, watching the distant explosions that resembled fireworks, feeling the heat and wind brought by the gusts, and sat down.

"You weren't so well-behaved back then, remember?"

"Drunk and causing a drunken ruckus..."

Lucifer tenderly closed Abdiel's eyes.

She looked lovingly at the massive angels who were wreaking havoc in the research institute, softly reciting the poem Boddhisattva Barbarian.

Withering fireworks continued to bloom, enveloping the entire sky.
