The head of the third clan is simply known as "Old Three".

As a prominent blood clan member, Old Three's focus extends beyond just his own clan and encompasses the entire Western Continent as his target.

He feels it is a better use of his precious time and energy to extend his influence to other countries rather than engage in the pursuit of the "Blood Clan King".

Although the Beastkin Kingdom is not far from the blood clan's territory, its barren lands make it unsuitable as the primary target.

On the other hand, the numerous small countries in the Western Continent are easier targets, yet the process of conquering them one by one is too troublesome.

Old Three harbors ambitions of conquering these small countries but does not intend to use excessive force.

He envisions that once he conquers Dibiles, the strongest country in the Western Continent, the other small countries will easily submit to him.

If he can turn this vision into reality, Old Three's status will approach that of Cain, or even surpass him in the future.

Old Three desires to become a great leader of the blood clan; hence, he agreed to the alliance request from the Inran Empire a while back, sending troops to this place today.

The "Blood Spilled Wasteland" was once part of Dibiles' dominion during its heyday.

This land used to be fertile, but wars for territorial expansion conducted by the blood clan left it devastated.

The prolonged conflicts led to the destruction of the land, rendering it unsuitable for agriculture or even sustaining livestock.

As a result, the land was abandoned, and the blood clan abandoned their plans to claim it as their own.

Because of the blood spilled by warriors of both clans, the area earned the name "Blood Spilled".

The wasteland connected to Dibiles' indirect territories, and once Old Three's army passes through, he can set foot on the coveted land!

Should he reach there, he has no intention of honoring any alliances thereafter.

If the alliance is with a fellow blood clan, he will maintain noble principles and negotiate properly.

But when facing an alliance with a different clan, Old Three's thoughts are only of exploitation, followed by abandonment and destruction!

For him, Inran is just a stepping stone at present and a future enemy.

He will not willingly hand over territories he has long desired to his future enemies, nor does he have any intentions of befriending the Holy Empire.

"I shall establish a kingdom where I can have it all my way!"

With that self-affirmation, he leads his troops forward, gradually approaching the fringes of the plain.

Local creatures affected by magic, altering their forms, flee in terror upon seeing the grand blood clan army approaching.

The iron cavalry tramples over the abnormal-colored withered grass, moving effortlessly through the unobstructed land.

As they near their destination, the commander suddenly signals for silence, raising his arm to halt the advance.

In the midst of the silence, Old Three, crouching on his horse, listens intently.

He hears it—the unnatural sound coming from behind, resembling the march of an army.

This is irrational!

He has ordered his army to halt, and none of his subordinates would dare disobey him.

Upon further analysis, he realizes that besides his own army, there is another force nearby!
