Despite this, Isabella still cannot choose when to wake up freely, as the symptoms of consciousness interruption caused by the curse still persist within her.
If we talk about the ability to completely lift the curse, there is no doubt that Cai possesses it, but she does not intend to solve the curse all at once. The reason is simple: even beneficial medicines for the body should not be consumed excessively at once, and the lifting of curses is no exception. "Goodbye," three words served as her farewell as she parted ways with Cai . Cai waved her right hand behind Sister Glasses and said a audible "goodbye" before turning back to her residence.
Without needing a forbidden spell, Cai could easily evade the maids and quietly return to her room. Now that the tasks she needed to do have been completed, Cai must focus her remaining energy on the daily task at hand. She took down the crystal ball placed high up and set it carefully on the table, her eyes fixed on the image that appeared next.
During Freya's absence, every day Cai would monitor the crystal ball to ensure the safety of the goddess. Even though no one commanded her to do so, she chose to keep an eye on Freya, as their relationship was quite good. However, her observation would end today! A blurry figure suddenly appeared next to Freya, catching Cai off guard. To conceal the figure's true identity, Freya lifted a hand and removed a small prop hidden on her body. This action disrupted the image visible in the crystal ball, leaving Cai unable to see the true face of the shadow.
It seemed Freya had long noticed the existence of this small prop but had kept it there out of unnecessary concerns. When the time came, Freya raised it high, facing it with her true face. The image of Freya reflected in Cai 's eyes showed a smile on her face, making the goddess look wise. With a crack, the prop was crushed, interrupting the image in the crystal ball, and a drop of sweat rolled down Cai 's forehead.
"I'm truly sorry, I only guessed that you had secrets before, but I never expected you to hide them so deeply, Freya." With a voice mixed with regret, Cai uttered these words in a weakened tone.
