Excluding the nearby border camps, the core region of the Orc Kingdom is actually deep within its territory.

Accompanied by the Orcish caravan, Wang Xiaole, after spending a whole afternoon away from the camp area, arrived at the entrance to a desert alongside a polar bear and Mewo White.

Everywhere Wang Xiaole's gaze landed, there were golden grains of sand scattered about; the high temperature even distorted the air, rendering the views twisted.

Of course, the harsh natural environment had no negative impact on those above the "Army Breaker" level of strength; coupled with this small group of Orcish troops that had spent a long time here for self-training, the desert environment posed almost no threat to the convoy.

Being the Empress's husband, Wang Xiaole, was naturally unable to be openly mistreated by the polar bear Dibiles, who arranged a more forward wagon in the caravan to serve as the human's means of transportation.

Due to Mewo White's independent actions, Wang Xiaole, who should have been alone in the wagon, now had the cat-eared girl sitting on his lap, thus sharing the vehicle.

The polar bear's reaction now could be described as visibly frustrated, but with no immediate solution, he could only bide his time.

It didn't take long for the polar bear to get his chance. As the caravan continued into the desert, Wang Xiaole, looking out the wagon window, saw a group of white, goat-like creatures moving through the desert.

After recalling information in his mind, he realized that these goat-like creatures were the most common monsters in this desert and appeared in groups; although classified as monsters, their combat strength was only at the level of "Quasi-Thousands Slaughter" individually and no match for "Quasi Army Breaker" level fighters in group battles.

Considering the extraordinary strength of this convoy, the goats had no intention of provoking and continued innocuously nibbling at the sand by the roadside; the dry, flowing sand was like a delightful treat for them, much like how ordinary goats enjoyed eating grass.

Wang Xiaole wasn't worried about a sudden attack from the monsters but couldn't help but think to himself: although these goats were the lowest-level monsters in the desert, their strength was on par with elite human soldiers or average adventurers, illustrating the danger of this desert.

Looking at it from another perspective, it was precisely because orcs grew up in such a perilous environment that they were toughened to the extent of every citizen being a soldier, giving rise to super-strong individuals like the polar bear.

Just as Wang Xiaole marveled at the orcs' resilience, without warning, the group of goats collectively raised their heads, their faces showing fear, and scattered off in different directions.

Monsters are most sensitive to scent, their biggest ally in avoiding death; at the first moment they sensed the airborne threat, the herd of goats chose to flee without hesitation.

Although the imminent danger they detected was not as formidable as the convoy, it carried a clear intent to kill.

In the minds of the herd, it is naturally the greater danger that needs to be avoided.

Hiss.

When the convoy noticed the fleeing of the herd, they stopped close ahead;

at that moment, as the scout in the front stopped to observe the surroundings, suddenly heard some faint noises.

In the next instant, the surface of the sand sea suddenly surged with countless grains of sand, engulfing the area for miles around.

In the sand, an enormously thick black shadow emerged.

"It's a Black Scale Python, everyone be careful!"

The scout realized what was happening, and his shout immediately echoed all around.

Boom!

Almost at the same moment, a massive black shadow suddenly emerged from the swirling sand and dust;

soon, the scout saw:

a snake as big as a house, with massive horns curving outward on its head, suddenly opened its huge mouth and lunged towards the direction of the convoy;

before the python arrived, a gust of fierce wind swept in, seemingly wanting to engulf everyone into the mouth of the snake.

"That's a huge snake."

Wang Xiaole's only thought.

He then took action, as soon as he settled Mewo White, he leaped out of the carriage and drew his sword, slashing down fiercely midway.

Shoo!

Under the sword's edge, the swirling air was torn apart like a rag, and the jet-black sword glow viciously struck the snake's head.

Bang!

In an instant of the head tilting, the giant python let out a sharp scream.

The sword aura, capable of splitting a mountain, struck the snake's head, leaving a clear mark.

Shortly after, the snake's head roared madly, spewing out a large amount of foul venom from its mouth.

The nearby orc soldiers were well-trained; if it were any other orc, they would have been subjected to a "complete body wash" of venom without evading in time.

Once contaminated with the venom, that unfortunate individual's life would be over for good.

The splattered snake venom, upon reaching the ground, quickly corroded a corner of the sand sea;

this horrifying scene startled the nearby orc soldiers, who, regardless of their image, rolled on the ground like balls to avoid the venom's erosion.

Later, the elite mages in the convoy sprang into action, with a loud roar, causing small meteorites to rain down from the sky;

the meteorite cluster hit the ground, creating terrifying craters, yet posed no threat to the Black Scale Python.

Despite its enormous size, the python was incredibly agile;

its tail swiftly whipped through the air, knocking each meteorite aimed at it away;

some meteorites were even used by the python as projectiles and hurled toward the orc soldiers on the convoy's side.

Although the danger did not directly threaten his own people, Wang Xiaole couldn't stand by and watch the orc soldiers, who were also Mewo White brethren, sacrifice themselves for the country.

From Mewo White's perspective, he saw his elder brother swiftly lunge forward, thrusting his sword to create a black fine line;

the second sword strike, although not as imposing as the previous one, was more effective.

The bear saw the black line flash in the yellow sand;

the next moment, a blood line shot out from the python's head.

With one eye of the Black Scale Python punctured, blood gushed out, driving the python to wildly thrash in pain.

At this moment, the python hesitated to retreat;

Its intelligence was not particularly high, being considered a dominant magical creature in the outskirts of the desert. Therefore, it approached humans instinctively for food without much consideration.

However, it did not expect to encounter a formidable prey. If the situation escalated, it would be uncertain who would end up being consumed...

From the moment it solidified its hesitation to retreat, the python suddenly let out a fierce roar, its body spinning in a spiral pattern;

Soon, the violent sand around it formed into a massive sandstorm;

The tornado raged outward, making it impossible for ordinary creatures to approach;

Meanwhile, Wang Xiaole's eyes flickered, and with a lack of emotion, he casually said:

"Don't run, you are the main course for tonight!"

The orc soldiers were initially surprised to hear the term "main course" due to Dibiles husband's unusual taste, but then they quickly realized:

No, wait, what do you mean by "us"?

Within these two words, besides representing the "I" from the person involved, who else was being included?

It couldn't be us, right?

Perhaps fearing that the soldiers might not understand, Wang Xiaole added before the python's fate was sealed:

"I've put in effort to take down this snake, and no matter who you are at dinner, you are not allowed to skip eating its flesh!"

Oh no...

The tragedy the soldiers feared most was about to become a reality.

In terms of its culinary value:

Even if this python was to have its venom removed during cooking, it could be consumed as easily as chicken with a crispy texture...

Despite this, the orc soldiers still had a strong aversion to eating snake meat;

Not for any reason, except that in the previous moment, they had almost been treated as "appetizers" by the python.

Ignoring the bitterness in his heart, Wang Xiaole did not dwell on the surviving python and swiftly took action.

He moved swiftly towards the right side of the sandstorm, retracting his long sword along the way, instead gathering the elemental forces of heaven and earth with his hands, then joining his palms together.

Instantly, a magical fireball ignited by mana soared down towards the bottom of the ground.

This peculiar black fireball, upon landing, did not explode but silently penetrated the earth.

After a moment, a pained wail emanated from underground.

Immediately, the ground burst open, and the gigantic sand python emerged from below, enveloped in burning magical flames that caused it to cry out ceaselessly.

This flame possessed the fundamental magical property of ruthless absorption;

Although the flame's temperature was not high, during the combustion process, it continued to absorb the python's vitality.

After a while, the normally impenetrable skin of the python, impervious even to the "Army Breaker" strongman, turned red under the intense burning of the magical fire, emitting a charred smell.

At that moment, the orcish group finally realized:

While the python left behind a sandstorm tornado to divert their attention, it had secretly fled;

If it weren't for the human before them who had astutely seen through everything, the snake would not have met its end here today.

The python itself was also in a miserable state. Believing it had perfectly concealed its tracks by burrowing underground in an instant;

It couldn't anticipate:

Before it could truly escape, it was hopelessly trapped!

As time passed, the python's vitality was exhausted, and with a thud as it crashed into the sand, it had truly turned into a large piece of roasted meat.

"Alright, dinner is served!"

Wang Xiaole's words sent shivers down the spines of the orc soldiers;

If this dinner didn't come from the hands of a beauty, they might even have had the idea to run away.

"Hold on!"

Just as Wang Xiaole was about to take a break, chop a piece of snake meat with his sword, and taste it, the white bear suddenly attacked again.
