The feeling of being well taken care of is really great.

Ding ling ling ling!

Isabella shook the bell in her hand, summoning the head maidservant in the palace, who then called all the maidservants in the palace.

"Listen up, all of you."

Isabella pointed to the master, and with the maidservants turning their eyes towards her, she solemnly informed them:

"Starting from today, my master - who is the future prince of this country, will officially reside here."

Strictly speaking:

By tomorrow, Wang Xiaole will have a final showdown with his disciple;

If he cannot emerge victorious tomorrow, he will not truly become the prince;

But the outcome of tomorrow's duel, whether on the surface or in reality, holds little suspense;

Therefore, when the queen emphasized the status of "future prince", the maidservants also generally agreed with that statement.

Yet just making these servants aware of the master's extraordinary status was far from enough.

With a tone akin to issuing an ultimatum, Isabella informed all the maidservants once and for all:

"When you treat the master, you must show the same respect and attention as you do to me, without any hint of negligence! Clear?"

"We will keep it in mind!"

The black and white headpieces worn by the maidservants were neatly lowered, creating a distinctive sight within this artificial structure.

After introducing the new member of the royal family, this was the exchange that took place between the master and the maidservants:

"Where would the master like to reside? You have the entire palace at your disposal."

In reality, there was no need to go through so much trouble.

Wang Xiaole was not particularly choosy about where to stay, as it made little difference to him.

Before making any requests, he just wanted to ask specifically:

"Shall we live together?"

"Uh? 'We' includes who? Is the master planning to find a roommate for himself?"

"......"

"Is the master suggesting that he wants me to live with you?"

Just as Isabella was about to voice her speculation, the sleeping bags they were each holding suddenly stirred.

Under normal circumstances, Isabella would have certainly noticed the anomaly with the sleeping bags given her focused attention; however, her mind was currently preoccupied with how to respond to the master, ignoring anything else.

Naturally, when married, one must live together, or simply call it "cohabitation."

Yet Isabella was not only bad at emotions, but also very conservative in her thinking, as evident from her response shortly after:

"No, no! The master and I haven't officially married yet, how can we do such shameless things?"

Although there was no blush on her face, the current queen indeed felt a heat rising from within, spreading outwards.

"It really won't work..."

When Wang Xiaole casually asked, he didn't expect much, but at this moment, a wave of disappointment washed over him.

"Please wait at least until tomorrow, by tomorrow... you know."

This was as far as it went.

For more words, this queen, who was particularly thin-faced in some respects, truly could not say another word.

At this point, the moving personnel caught up, urging Wang Xiaole on. He withdrew his thoughts and began searching for his new abode.

Eventually, Wang Xiaole found a suitable room on the west side of the palace, where the movers began moving the furniture in.

These people were brought in by Isabella, and of course, the expenses would be reimbursed by the royal family.

After arranging for the maids to lead these hires to collect money, Isabella walked around with the master, introducing as much as she could along the way:

"The spa room adjacent to the room is solely for the master's use. If you don't feel like soaking in the hot spring, you can use the bathroom inside the room to bathe;

In terms of dining, the chefs will bring your food in within three minutes after you ring the bell (a magical item) in the room. You can choose what you want to eat yourself;

Household chores are taken care of by dedicated maids. When the master seizes the opportunity to go out, they will come in and clean the room once;

If you need something, just make a list and entrust the servants in charge of these matters to go out and purchase. They do an excellent job, and you can leave a five-star review afterwards..."

After explaining some basic things, Isabella also had to remind the master:

"Due to the upcoming war preparations with the Inran Empire, the palace's expenses are not particularly abundant. Please be frugal and try not to be too extravagant."

The disciple noted the reminder from the master and even asked:

"What exactly is the standard? How much spending would be considered excessive?"

"Well, um, um..."

Isabella found it difficult to articulate, but because of a hint of rationality in her mind, she bravely told the master:

"Ten thousand gold coins, a million silver coins, ten million copper coins; try not to exceed this amount for the master's expenses within a month."

Upon hearing the set limit from the disciple, Wang Xiaole was simply astonished.

The overwhelming surprise was not because he thought the amount was too small to spend, but rather too big to believe.

It's like:

A person being taken care of by a rich woman on a certain day and then being handed a check by her, saying:

"You can spend freely within single digits for the next month"!

Compared to the regal aura of a ruler, such astonishing "lavishness" left Wang Xiaole breathless.

Where did Isabella get so much money from?

Surely not from herself.

After all, not long ago, she had to borrow money from the master to deal with the salary issues for her subordinates;

If she didn't have money, it didn't matter as long as there was money in the treasury.

Isabella had always been quite frugal, even a bit stingy with herself, but only in the treatment of the master, she convinced her stubborn self:

Master = Royal Husband = Someone who needs a lot of money = the only rightful recipient of money from the treasury

Once this formula was established, Isabella felt justified in allocating the hard-earned money of the citizens to allow the master to spend at will.

"Master, am I really too stingy? Are you disappointed in me?"

Isabella lowered her gaze, and in the midst of asking the question, she tentatively raised her eyes a couple of times and then glanced downward again in the next moment.

"No, you are doing very well! So well that the master finds it a bit overwhelming..."

After uttering words that the other couldn't understand, Wang Xiaole's legs trembled as he slowly entered the new room.

"Overwhelming? It seems like I'm still not doing well, making the master feel overwhelmed."

Amid intense self-reflection, Isabella scrutinized her non-existent mistakes and vowed that next time, she would not repeat them.

Soon, instead of entering the room, she went back to her own bedroom to rest for a while and arrange the big events of the next day. Her gaze returned to the new room. The sleeping bags that were moved into the room started to stand up one by one, adding a touch of the unique atmosphere of a zombie movie scene.

"Phew, finally can get some fresh air," complained Freya as she crawled out of the sleeping bag, representing the common sentiment of the girls, whose thoughts had never been so unanimously displayed before.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but let's look at the bright side: our living conditions have made a qualitative leap compared to before," Wang Xiaole genuinely felt, although he thought it sounded a bit cheesy.

He genuinely hoped that he could make them smile. When the girls took a few deep breaths and adjusted their state one by one, they finally shifted their focus to the room temporarily.

The room was spacious to the point of feeling desolate, luxurious to the extent of emanating a hint of coldness; the extremely high ceilings made everyone in it inevitably feel lonely and desolate. For both the girls and Wang Xiaole, this room was not somewhere they could live alone; it was fortunate to have the companionship of others, preventing anyone from truly being overcome by the chilly feeling.

"Now that dear ones are settled, I can't say much more," Lucia admitted, holding one arm and spinning a few circles in the room with intertwined toes before exhaling as if accepting the reality. "Living in the place arranged by that vixen may be annoying, but I choose to accept it and make this place our love nest."

The first "roommate" expressed an honest attitude about living here, and the others followed suit. Freya, who was always critical verbally but honest physically, just rolled onto the bed without further comment.

"Mewo White," on the other hand, remained silent, but her small eyebrows remained unknit, demonstrating that there was no protest in her heart.

"Cai, it seems like your attribute isn't being silent, so don't keep it to yourself, speak up if you have something in mind." "Nah, you're overthinking," Cai replied with a face turned away, and then fell silent.

Even though Wang Xiaole considered himself to have average emotional intelligence and not very understanding of the opposite sex's psyche, he could tell that Cai had been in a bad mood since his apprentice's visit. If given the chance, he hoped to find a time to talk to Cai properly; however, that opportunity was currently unavailable. The main task for the girls now was to establish territories within the house.

As the new home was large enough, there was a lot more space compared to when they lived in a hotel. The additional space, along with the areas in each room, became a subject of contention among them. Soon, Mewo White and the Orange Cat divided the large balcony, as it had the best sunlight and was comfortable for sunbathing. Freya took over the kitchen.

Although this goddess isn't great at cooking, she is very willing to be the first to enjoy the various dishes served from the kitchen in the future.

Lucia originally planned to claim ownership over the bed, but was met with fierce opposition from her archenemy (everyone knows who it is); thus, Lucia had to settle for staking a claim over the area surrounding the bed instead.

In the end, Lucia acquired three other sources of power and delegated the remaining areas; purely in terms of space, her territory was actually quite large.

The scene of girls dividing the room, in Wang Xiaole's eyes, seemed somewhat reminiscent of wild animals fighting over their territories.

Though those wild animals are ultimately being taken care of by him;

Raising wild animals as pets, now that's quite exhilarating.
