Everything is for that Lord.

Cai held the cross that was worn around her neck in her palm, turned it over, and transformed the small ornament into the shape of an inverted cross.

Suddenly, Cai gripped the inverted cross with her right hand and broke the necklace that connected to the ornament.

The damage to the necklace had become a kind of tradition; almost every time Cai fought, she would break the necklace. Because of this, the street vendors selling necklaces in the capital city were quite happy; they secretly hoped that this girl who always managed to break her necklace for some reason would come and browse their stalls more often...

Cai formally wielded the inverted cross, straightened her right arm, and trembled her hand, causing several afterimages to flicker.

The end of the inverted cross extended as much as doubled in width, transforming into a slender cross-shaped sword in the palm of its wielder. The sword emitted a sound as the blade was swung.

Cai lifted the hilt of the sword, positioning the blade horizontally in front of herself, cautiously guarding against the increasing amount of black liquid.

As the liquid flowed and spread, it detached from the ground and began to transform as it rose into the air. In less than a blink of an eye, the liquid transformed into a colossal figure, appearing before Cai.

She involuntarily opened her mouth and exhaled a breath of hot air:

"Sure enough, a sword spirit is born!"

The scene presented in front of Cai was astonishing. If anyone who had never witnessed such a sight saw it, they would surely be shocked and fall into extreme panic.

Although Cai was not afraid, she had not expected, nor anticipated that such a powerful entity that emitted intense waves would come from such a broken body. It was truly a miracle that this body possessed any vitality at all.

What kind of body could make the knowledgeable Cai feel amazed?

In fact, it should be understood as a skeleton rather than a body. The body formed by the liquid transformation in front of Cai was already in an extremely dilapidated state.

From head to toe, the body showed no signs of flesh and blood, only a giant skeleton as black as metal.

Cai's gaze shot through the skeleton and directly saw the beating heart of the other party.

There was no part of the entire body that appeared alive, as if a living heart was embedded into a gigantic skeleton.

From an aesthetic point of view, the creature formed by the sword spirit indeed did not have an appealing appearance.

"However, even under these circumstances, you can still be considered a living being. I have to ask, what is your relationship with a cockroach?" Cai was not joking. She truly believed that the other party could maintain what seemed to be a robust vitality in such a situation, a resilience even greater than a cockroach!

Based on Cai's assessment of the strength of the skeleton, if it had turned into such a state due to injury or other reasons, it would not be very difficult to restore its physical body.

But the other party did not do so, what did that mean?

Cai then made her judgment:

"You are not incapable of restoring yourself, but you are unable to. You didn't become this horrifying appearance after being injured; you were originally like this!"

According to common sense, a normal living creature would possess skin (scales), flesh, blood vessels, and bones.

But this kind of thinking was just a generalization.

In this vast world, there was no shortage of wonders. Even if a creature without flesh and skin appeared before Cai, she would not be surprised.

However, there was a sense of apology in her tone:

"Your birth must have been very difficult, even if you gained such powerful abilities by inheriting the sword of that adult. I can't just skip over the process of how you desperately developed self-awareness with just one sentence..."

"Roar!"

Creatures don't speak, but judging from their ability to understand and respond to others' words and bowing actions, it is enough to conclude that this creature possesses intelligence and can clearly distinguish friend from foe.

Unfortunately, he would be disappointed as Cailee's words and actions were filled with apologies, but there was still the second half of the sentence and the next move she was about to make.

"You've had it tough, but for the sake of the reincarnation of my beloved adult, I'm going to have to ask for your cooperation and let me...kill you!"

After apologizing, Cailee raised her sword without hesitation and launched her attack!

Seeing the sudden burst of killing intent from the human in front of him, the skeletal creature let out a deep growl and immediately raised its sharp and heavy claws, fiercely swatting towards Cailee.

As the skeletal claws vibrated, the attack resembled a dark star falling from the sky. With one palm, it created a massive spatial crack, instantly shrouding Cailee's body in a large shadow.

"I'm sorry, truly sorry!"

While apologizing, Cailee didn't pay any attention to the impending strike. She slightly lowered her head, assuming an extremely humble posture, and skillfully evaded the ferocious attack.

After avoiding that strike, the majestic holy power inside Cailee's body surged like a vast sea. With a roaring sound wave, it crushed towards the skeletal creature, which was just within reach.

This was not a decisive counterattack for Cailee, it was merely the beginning.

At the moment the roaring holy power collided with the skeletal surface, Cailee took a long breath, and then her body trembled. In an instant, the illusion of an angel appeared in the small room.

Compared to the angel from the last time she brutally attacked the Sapele envoy, Cailee now only allowed the illusory angelic figure to protect her, as if it were a mirage surrounding her.

Every time she raised her arm, it was as if a sacred angel raised its arm in unison, symbolizing judgment. The narrow and long cross-shaped sword instantly transformed into a wide and heavy giant sword of light. The broad light sword, flowing with sound effects, fiercely collided with the skeletal creature's white bone claw as it struck down again.

Seeing this human attack so fiercely, the skeletal creature couldn't help but be horrified. The opponent's strength surpassed his imagination, and the methods were not what he had seen before. At this point, even if he wanted to stop and dodge, it was already too late. The skeletal creature's body had long been trapped in the eerie white light emitted by Cailee, leaving him unable to move an inch.

"Roar, roar!"

Cailee was indifferent and ignored the opponent's roar and special language of insults. She felt completely unconcerned. If anyone was at fault, it was the skeletal creature for not knowing any better, for trusting his own power too much, and most importantly, for impeding Cailee from taking the sword and unintentionally obstructing the beloved adult!

Cailee's movements controlled the angelic shadow, wielding the sword of light. It made a sharp, vicious stab into the immense, black skeletal frame.

After a loud bang, several ribs in the skeletal creature's chest were instantly severed by the piercing light sword. The skeletal creature's hand, which was slightly closer to the light sword, was nearly shattered due to the tremendous recoil, and cracks spread throughout its bones.

There was no doubt that with this strike, Cailee had gained an absolute upper hand and advantage.

The skeleton thought he could easily deal with this young girl, but he didn't expect that a momentary negligence would bring him such serious harm.

Now, he didn't want to use his last trump card, but he had to change his mind.

In the moment the skeleton made up his mind, a muddy-colored light and a sea-blue light shot out from his body and attacked Cai's head.

Despite the sudden attack from the opponent, Cai still had a smile on her face, and the smile was even warmer than before, like a gentle spring breeze.

Everything was within Cai's expectations, and even up to now, the development of the battle did not exceed her expectations at all!

The two lights represented only two different types of magic: the one emitting a muddy-colored light was earth magic, while the one emitting a blue light was water magic.

Both types of magic were of a high level, namely twelfth and thirteenth order.

The fact that the skeleton could use both of these elemental magics at the same time was enough to show his strength, but unfortunately, he had chosen the wrong opponent this time.

When the skeleton had not put all his effort into it earlier, Cai was still somewhat cautious in her heart; but at this moment, she no longer had any concerns.

Cai raised both hands at the same time, controlling her left hand to hold down her right hand.

With this movement, the phantom of an angel also made the exact same gesture, bringing their hands together with the sword, and then swiftly striking down!

One force, a hundred variations.

Even though the move Cai just made was only a slightly more serious strike, supported by her terrifying holy power, it displayed a formidable power as if it could split mountains and seas.

Before the sword was even swung down, a dazzling light burst forth from the trajectory of the sword's movement, suddenly turning into an impenetrable wall of light without any blind spots.

Both water and earth magic were engulfed by this infinite brightness, and the wall of light completely trapped and separated the two types of magic.

Cai took a step forward, and immediately the skeleton heard two sudden explosions, which were the sounds of the magic being destroyed and completely shattered!

How can this continue?

In an instant, the skeleton understood how foolish his mistake was.

Regrettably, he realized it too late. Even if he wanted to make up for his mistake, there was absolutely no time.

After all, Cai wouldn't give him the chance to make up for it!

"Do not attempt it unless you are certain - this is the advice of that person. I have offended you, so please hate me fiercely in the afterlife!"

As the melodious voice sounded, the sword immediately flew out of the palm of the phantom angel's hand, exuding a taste of seizing life, like a meteor rushing towards the skeleton's head.

The skeleton had planned to deliver a fatal blow to Cai, but instead of achieving his goal, he gave her the opportunity to deal him a fatal blow.

Regret!

A hint of regret rose in the skeleton's heart. He regretted not being cautious and underestimating the human in front of him.

The incident had already occurred, and the immobilized skeleton had no chance to dodge, only able to watch death descend upon him...

Boom!

After suffering a fatal blow, the skeleton's body instantly shattered into countless pieces, and countless bone fragments fluttered in the air, resembling countless floating snowflakes if not for their shape.
