"Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah!"

The woman with a serious expression couldn't resist the cute attack of the orange cat, which almost ruined its reputation. Influenced by her innate love for all things adorable, she fell into a trance for a moment.

If it were just a simple trance, it would have been fine. But the woman's reaction was indeed rather intense.

She immediately raised her neck and shouted with joy towards the sky, accompanied by the fragrant sweat dripping from her long hair, which seemed to have appeared at some unknown time.

"Meow meow meow (This woman seems to be in heat, even though it's almost winter... I don't understand)."

Although surprised, the orange cat managed to grasp her momentary reaction and bypassed the obstacles, jumping a few steps until its four paws landed on the table.

"Meow meow (As expected, I, with the level of luck equivalent to an emperor, have found the map I wanted in no time)."

The orange cat's luck was indeed good.

At this critical moment when the orc army was wandering near the border, the border garrisons would send out scouts every day to prevent surprise attacks.

Every night, the commanders would examine the freshly updated map, which allowed the orange cat to take advantage and obtain the most timely information.

"Captain, look, that cat is looking at the map."

The woman, whose expression had returned to normal, was actually a squad leader in the Knights' Order. She followed the soldiers' extended fingers and saw the scene where the orange cat was completely focused on the map.

"Idiot, how could a cat understand the map? It must be looking at the rivers and mountains on the map, resembling the shape of a fish, that's why it's staring so intently."

"Meow meow (Tsk, what's so complicated about a map? It's just looking at the legend, directions, scale, and annotations)."

Even if there were some difficult parts to read, the real challenge lay in the human text.

And when it came to text, it might cause difficulties for most cats, but the orange cat was fluent in the languages of humans, cats, and dogs.

As long as it didn't come across unfamiliar characters, there were no reading obstacles for it.

"Meow meow (This gorge is the area where the cat-eared loli is. As long as I take this route, it's not too far away)..."

Finding the easiest route was just the beginning. The orange cat hoped to choose the shortest path among the best options.

Unfortunately, before it could finish examining the map, the squad leader pressed down on its belly and lifted the entire cat up.

"Be good. There's nothing to eat here. Don't stretch out your claws and damage the map. I can't take responsibility for it."

The orange cat concluded:

As long as it was given another half a minute, it guaranteed that it could find the best route. It was just a small difference.

"Meow (But forget it, being too picky isn't the behavior of a king. Anyway, the expected goal has been achieved. It's meaningless for me to stay here)."

The orange cat broke free from the squad leader's embrace and agilely jumped back to the ground.

Everyone could see that it was about to leave, so they took out food that cats liked and generously threw it on the ground.

"Meow (Sardines, tuna, cod. The food here is really good, and they are all the kinds of food that cats love)."

If the people weren't so kind, the orange cat would have left long ago. But since they showed their kindness, it was a bit demanding not to accept it.

"Meow (I'll leave after I finish eating. It won't take much time)."

The principle of a king:

Fish and catnip must not be disappointed!

Under the difficult but warm-hearted circumstances, the orange cat finally stayed at the border for twenty minutes before leaving.

"Meow (I'm so full... slip of the tongue! The information obtained this time is really sufficient)."
