He furrowed his brows slightly, uncertain of what he could actually do even if he managed to find Yukari and the others.

He had no choice but to continue his work in the library for the time being.

Especially when it came to work, Juxi knew he was not capable. Even giving him a job managing the library was a show of confidence from Yukari, who was the administrator.

"I know I'm lacking in many aspects right now, but it's disrespectful to not give any instructions and just hand me a job, isn't it?" Juxi couldn't help but complain.

Originally, he wanted to complain to Yu Nai. After all, they had been childhood friends, and theoretically, they were each other's closest person.

So, if it was in front of Yu Nai, Juxi naturally wouldn't hold back his words.

However, just as Juxi finished speaking, the room remained unusually quiet, as if Yu Nai wasn't there either.

Juxi quickly walked out of the room, but found that the library was empty now, not a single person in sight.

Feeling unsettled, Juxi pushed the door and left the treehouse, wanting to see what exactly was happening outside!

"What's going on here?"

"Juxi..."

"Yu Nai?!"

As soon as Juxi turned around, he realized that Yu Nai had appeared next to him at some point.

"Where were you just now? I haven't seen you all morning. Are you not responsible for the library anymore?" Juxi said with a reproachful tone.

"Are you really in a position to say that to me?" Yu Nai retorted, "I've been busy since this morning. I've been the one organizing and cleaning the library by myself. Can you help with that?!"

"Okay, fine. Since I'm awake now, where did Yukari go?" Juxi couldn't answer and had to change the subject.

"You mentioned Yukari?" Yu Nai carefully recalled, "She woke up a little later than me. I was the earliest to get up, but she just came out of her room recently. I think she went to the seaside?"

"The seaside?" Juxi was startled.

If she really went to the seaside, what could she possibly do there? It probably had to do with underwater activities.

"I remember Yukari left in a hurry. She said she wanted to use the submarine on her own and explore the underwater resources."

Yu Nai said nonchalantly as he continued to check his work on the e-book, not taking Juxi's words seriously.

Submarine... diving into the sea?!

He clearly remembered Yukari warning him before that he should never go play in the sea if something unreasonable happened!

And now, it seemed like Yukari didn't listen to what he said at all, and went in just to have fun. Otherwise, collecting resources or surveying work could have been done by unmanned robots alone. If she, a human, personally went up, she would be inviting trouble!

"No way!!!"

Juxi ran towards the seaside, mentioning to Yu Nai, "Quickly inform the administrator and send unmanned units to search for Yukari. I'll go ahead."

With that said, he didn't hear what Yu Nai said and rushed to the seaside alone.

Sure enough, one of the docking spots for mini submarines at the seaside was vacant, and there were still ripples that hadn't dissipated. It shouldn't have been long since she left!

Regardless of the consequences, Juxi simply made direct contact with a nearby mini submarine and followed its wake along with another submarine. The water here wasn't very deep, and if he wasn't careful, the consequences could be severe. Juxi was cautious, not so much because he was afraid of grounding, but because there were countless sharp crystal drill heads below. If the submarine accidentally brushed against them even slightly, it would lose balance immediately and become trapped underwater.

He had been informed by the administrator during the planet survey that the underwater crystals were extremely hard and difficult to break. The reason they had chosen this location was because Yukari had discovered that the monsters in the deep sea showed fear when they encountered these crystals, suggesting that they had the ability to repel these creatures.

Even Juxi, as dim-witted as he was, should have realized that if these monsters that could swallow whales whole couldn't destroy the crystals, then the submarine had no chance.

"The damage to the submarine is... 0.03%."

"Is there any damage?" Juxi was dissatisfied with the fact that there was a 0.03% damage.

To be honest, Juxi didn't really care. He just thought that the beauty of the submarine should remain at 0% damage!

"Alright, alright. Even though the machine was manufactured with high precision, it can't guarantee absolute safety. Besides, 0.03% damage is already quite high, isn't it? It's not like it's Virgo, right?"

Juxi complained, but suddenly a voice rang in his ears.

He looked around, but didn't see anything. Maybe it was just his imagination?

But just as he was about to come to that conclusion, the voice rang in his ear again.

"Juxi, it's me contacting you!"

"You... are you Chiyori?"

"Correct, the administrator has other matters to attend to, so he entrusted the task of dealing with the situation to you and me."

"You and me? What about those machines..."

"Oh, you mean the robots? They can't go underwater. The domestic robots can't, and the work robots won't be back until tonight."

"So, it's just you and me now. Let's go find that little guy together. I'll try to contact... I can't contact her! Damn it, what stupid things is that foolish child doing?"

"Well, just give me navigation directions, and I'll go after her!"

Given the situation, there's no need to think too much. It's certain that Ren must have also increased their speed to the maximum, otherwise their whereabouts wouldn't have been lost for this long.

Looking ahead, although the visibility isn't very far, Ren's submarine is still nowhere to be seen. If it weren't for the traces of the submarine along the way, Juxi would suspect that they had already lost Ren!

"Can't we go any faster?" Juxi couldn't help but urge, "We'll soon reach the depths below 10,000 meters, where deadly sea creatures will appear. We need to catch up with Ren quickly."

"I wish we could, but for accuracy, this speed is already quite fast," Chiyori said helplessly, also indicating that she was already doing her best.

"Well, there's no other choice then. Please disable the auto-tracking!" Juxi wanted to increase the speed a bit more, which should allow them to catch up with Ren.

But at this moment, Chiyori hesitated, "This... Juxi, although I don't really like you, this is a matter of life and death! If something unexpected happens, the submarine won't automatically evade."

Speaking of no automatic evasions, that would be very dangerous. Juxi was still a novice driver, and by the way, he had even forgotten how to ride a bicycle!

Although this place was full of danger, Juxi still chose to face it head-on. After all, he had caused this disaster himself, so if it were to be resolved, it should be him who should personally handle it.

Seeing that Juxi was still so stubborn, Chiyori naturally had nothing else to say.

"You better be careful yourself. This isn't a safe place at all. If you really encounter any dangerous monsters, you'll be calling for help in vain."

"As long as you maintain the virtual channel, I'll find a way to catch up in that direction!"

"Alright, but let me tell you, if there are any obstacles along the way, it will depend on your driving skills."

"Don't worry, my driving skills are actually quite solid!"

"Hmph, we all woke up from the same dream. How solid can yours be?"

"Uh..."

Chiyori immediately saw through Juxi's lie, knowing that he was only comforting himself to ease his worries.

Seeing how panicked Juxi's expression was, and the fact that he didn't even attempt to refute her, Chiyori became thoroughly angry.

"Juxi!" Chiyori once again tried to gain control of the submarine, "This is too dangerous, give me control and I'll chart the safest course for you..."

"No need, I'll do it myself! Ah..." Before Chiyori could finish speaking, Juxi suddenly accelerated and shot forward.

He didn't expect that this seemingly bulky toy, once it started running, would actually be faster than an airplane!

Juxi was already reaching the point where he could barely see the road ahead, relying solely on the tunnel guide to navigate. And now he was regretting his decision.

At this speed, even if he could find Ren, he wouldn't be able to stop at such a fast pace. They might end up colliding and destroying both submarines.

Of course, submarines are made by robots, and making as many as needed is an easy task. However, a human life is something that is lost forever once gone, unless he was still dreaming!

Juxi couldn't help but pray, "Oh God, I must still be dreaming... Please let it be a dream... grant me this one favor!"
