After seeing the dramatic change in my expression, that guy smirked and took out a dagger, advancing towards me. At that moment, I only had a butterfly knife left in my hand, with fresh blood flowing on the hilt.

"Kid, you better be careful," the old man raised his knife, glaring at me, "None of you will leave this place alive today!"

The waves grew larger and larger, and some special forces began to prepare to infiltrate the room. It was his time to die.

"Do you know, it won't do you any good to drag this out!" I reminded him, lest he kept rambling on.

"Oh really?" the big man suddenly threw the dagger into the sea and walked towards me... Did this mean he was surrendering?

"I still have a trick up my sleeve, one that you forced me to use!"

He once again unbuttoned his shirt and threw it to the ground, revealing rows of transparent test tubes filled with purple liquid tightly bound to his body.

"This is the crystallization of the technology developed by our Elena Group over five years. Let me give you a taste!"

Elena? He was indeed... He also realized he had let something slip, and instinctively covered his mouth with his hand.

I took advantage of his distraction and grabbed him from behind, holding his body firmly to prevent him from detonating the explosive vials.

"Ah ah ah ah..."

Everything I did at that moment felt so helpless and confused. It should have been so easy to let someone die, but trying to stop someone from dying was simply absurd.

He broke free from my restraint. As if the timing couldn't have been worse, he had already pressed the activation button, and the liquid in the test tubes immediately started boiling violently... This man had gone mad!!!

"Bastard!"

I grabbed his chest and dragged him towards the edge of the sea.

"Juxi, don't worry about me, just run!"

Yuanhui's face had already contorted beyond recognition because of me, tears streaming down his face as he shouted with all his might, hoping to see me escape from that place. But I just chuckled. If we ran, we would both die. It would be better to let only one person die!

"Don't be silly," I smiled and gave him one last glance, "Take care of Yukari for me, will you!"

With that thought, without any hesitation, I jumped into the vast sea with him, only to hear a deafening explosion and a violent shockwave... The world finally fell into silence and darkness together, with no escape...

Darkness, an eternal embrace, a hell in which no life can survive!

It was like a vast swamp, pulling me deeper and deeper until I could barely see anything in this world.

"So this is death?" I couldn't help but mock, "It's nothing more than this!"

It seemed like it was really over this time. Just as I chose despair and closed my eyes in the dark quagmire, a familiar and warm voice sounded.

"Juxi..." A familiar yet unfamiliar voice rescued me from the ruins of darkness.

Juxi woke up again, but it was already late in the day. There were not many people wandering around on the shore, and those who were there were mostly couples. He felt out of place among them.

On the vast beach, Juxi lay half-asleep on the sand, feeling like he had forgotten something.

Yukari had entrusted him with some safety issues before, but now most people had already gone home, so there shouldn't be any problems.

"Juxi, you also came?" Suddenly, a female voice came from behind Juxi, startling him to quickly turn around.

"Yes, it's Renni. Haven't you gone back yet?"

"No," Renni replied as she cleaned the sand off her clothes. "Although the colored seawater doesn't look that unusual, there are some colorful crystals underneath."

"Crystals? That means we can get rich, right?" Juxi couldn't believe his luck.

"But..." Renni frowned. "They're worthless at the moment, and they're useless even if we have them."

Hearing Renni's words, Juxi deflated like a punctured balloon. "Yeah... you're right."

But after Renni's reminder, Juxi couldn't help but swallow his saliva. He still remembered the monster under the water.

"Renni, although I don't want to ruin your happy mood, Yukari instructed us not to play in the sea because there... "

Just as Juxi was about to mention the giant sea monster, a commotion suddenly erupted from the beach, making his heart race in his throat.

Oh my, is something really happening? If there's an accident, what should I do? Juxi's mind couldn't calm down.

If something went wrong, it would definitely fall on Juxi in the end. And what kind of punishment would that be? One couldn't even begin to imagine how terrible it would be!

However, none of the people's faces showed any signs of fear, so it probably wasn't anything too bad.

With that thought, Juxi returned to his normal state and followed the crowd.

As they got closer to the center of the crowd, Juxi's excitement grew.

"Wow, it's so beautiful!"

"I can't believe there are creatures like this on this planet..."

"It's so cool, I want to take one home as a pet."

"Come on, do you even know what it eats?"

"No, but our robots should know something."

"Well, let's try not to disturb the ecosystem here as much as possible. We don't even know if that thing is a dangerous species. Let's just observe it."

Everyone was talking at once, each with their own thoughts.

Just one thing they all had in common: most of them wanted to keep this creature as a pet. At least 90% of the people present felt that way.

When Juxi finally arrived, he saw a snow-white unicorn with wings not far away, calmly watching them.

At the sight of the unicorn, Juxi's mouth dropped open. He couldn't believe that such a creature really existed in the universe!

Although Juxi was astonished by the animal, he was not as excited as the others. Instead, he seemed rather indifferent.

Just as Yukari had said earlier, each of these creatures could potentially be a terrifying existence. It would be foolish to approach them without knowing the situation.

Besides, Yukari had warned him before, so he pushed through the crowded crowd and stood at the forefront of everyone.

"Listen to me, everyone," he began. "Yukari... the Administrator, has told us not to interact with any of the creatures here. They may all harbor unknown dangers. Besides, it's getting late, so let's all go back and rest!"

Juxi shouted loudly, afraid that someone would not be able to hear or understand.

Unexpectedly, none of those people thought that what Juxi said made no sense. After all, it was the manager speaking, so almost everyone paid little attention to the unicorn.

Although they pretended not to care on the surface, Juxi knew in his heart that these guys were still reluctant to let go.

At this moment, even Ren, who had been silent all along, began evacuating the crowd, saying, "Everyone should return in an orderly manner. We don't know what dangerous animals might appear at night. Remember not to touch any flowers or plants on the way back. If there is anything poisonous, our current medical reserves may not be able to save you."

"Oh!" everyone replied in unison.

After all, when Ren said so, no one dared to cause trouble anymore. The pleasant mood from earlier now became tinged with fear.

"Well then, everyone should go back to their rooms. The little robots have already prepared a sumptuous dinner," Juxi called out, and only under his call did everyone return safely before sunset.

As the crowd gradually diminished and disappeared, Juxi finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Today's security work had gone smoothly, although he had been a bit careless. Fortunately, everyone was already quite alert, so it didn't take much effort.

Following this incident, people's interest diminished significantly. Most of them didn't even want to continue playing but rather stayed obediently in their own homes, reluctant to step out even a single step.

Ultimately, it was because Juxi and Ren's words were too terrifying.

Just at this moment, knocking came from outside the library. "Is there anyone in the library? The manager sent me here. I am the manager's assistant."

"The manager's assistant?" Ren opened the door in confusion and looked outside. "You came here to do... Chiyori?!"

"Hehe, children are truly interesting! But I'm not here to do Chiyori, because I am Chiyori!" The girl with short blue hair said indignantly. She felt insulted by Ren's words.

"Well then, sorry. Do you want to come in?" Ren opened the door halfway, intending to welcome Chiyori inside.

"No need, I really want to catch up with you former friends, but not today." Chiyori declined.

"Well, that's too bad!" Yu Nai poked her head out and asked, "If you're too busy with work, forget it. So, Miss Chiyori, are you here to find a book or something else?"

Compared to the calm and quiet Arima Shinobu, this Yu Nai was not an easy person to mess with. She was the kind of person who demanded perfection.

"If you're here to find a book, please come in. If you're here for something else... please go away!" Yu Nai's words were filled with a sense of impatience, causing Chiyori to shiver.

She vaguely sensed that the blonde girl in front of her was not someone to mess with.

Since there was no reason to continue wasting time here, Chiyori simply stated her reason for coming.

"You know, I actually came here to find Juxi. If I don't see him, I would rather..." Before she could finish her sentence, Yu Nai abruptly slammed the door shut.
