I search for you in your world, searching... searching...

The system encountered an unknown error and restarted.

Refreshing data...

System reset...

Reshaping...

Oh, right, you can't wake up yet!

Faster... faster...

With a drip, everything returned to silence, and everything ceased to exist.

"Where... am I?" Juxi rubbed his sleepy eyes and woke up from his dream.

It felt like he had just had a long dream.

After waking up, Juxi's head was still a bit dizzy, and even his memories became jumbled. Many things clearly happened yesterday, but it felt like centuries had passed!

Juxi washed up and changed his wrinkled pajamas, just like usual.

Even if the heavens were unfair to Juxi or if miracles truly existed in the world, it had nothing to do with him now.

He knew it in his heart... well, maybe not exactly, but it felt like a first love, with youthful memories that he couldn't quite recall no matter how hard he tried.

Perhaps he had been avoiding something in his heart, or maybe he was overthinking? Juxi was trapped in confusion.

Looking around, the dismal white room made Juxi uncomfortable, like he hadn't fully woken up from a dream.

Everything felt so real, he had to admit that he could clearly feel the taste of being alive in this moment.

"I always feel like I've lost something important, and I need to find it!!!" Juxi rushed out of the room like a madman, but the outside had become fragmented, and the world had turned into a jumbled mess of code.

Where... where am I?! Juxi wanted to scream, but he discovered that he had no voice, no matter how hard he tried.

In an instant, the sky of the whole world began to collapse.

A giant rock fell towards Juxi's location, causing him to quickly crouch down and cover his head, even though he knew it was futile!

Boom!

After a loud noise, Juxi once again heard the booming sound in his ears, and everything that just happened seemed like a dream again.

This time, Juxi appeared in a massive palace, with fully armed soldiers on both sides. They were now blowing horns, as if welcoming their new king.

However, one thing puzzled Juxi: the faces of those people... it seemed like every person was himself, they all looked exactly like him!

Juxi became increasingly frightened, with every nerve in his body tense. He uncontrollably walked off the red carpet beneath his feet.

The surrounding soldiers continued to celebrate the coronation ceremony, as if Juxi didn't exist at all. Everyone was cheering and applauding, but... who were they celebrating for exactly? It was impossible to know.

Juxi could only feel fear, unable to feel anything else. He silently walked toward the stairs ahead, still wondering - could the queen also be him?!

My goodness, what time is it? Why am I still thinking about such trivial matters?

Just as Juxi was mentally splitting apart, he had unconsciously arrived in front of the queen, though he didn't want to look at her face.

"Will you continue to be timid?" the queen's gentle voice echoed in Juxi's ears, a voice that was so familiar that he almost didn't recognize it.

"Who... who are you?!" Juxi stammered.

He wasn't very familiar with the queen in front of him. First, he noticed her blue dress, then he looked at himself. Though there was only a layer of veil separating them, Juxi couldn't form a clear image of the queen in his mind, but he felt that she was important.

"I don't understand..." Juxi murmured to himself. "I'm not anything special, so why me?!"

"...," the queen remained silent.

"I'm no different from them. Who are they?" Juxi saw that he was dressed in the same common clothes as the other residents outside. Though there seemed to be no difference, why was he here? And what was the meaning of the crown?

The queen raised the crown high, but still didn't say a word.

Seeing her silence, Juxi grew even more scared. He was afraid of disappearing forever, afraid that he would be completely erased in the next second!

Afraid...

Afraid...

"Juxi, you've always been the most special. Nobody can replace you in this world, remember that!"

"To protect, people will come forward one after another. Though they may talk about righteousness, deep down, it's all for themselves."

"People are afraid of being lonely, especially afraid of being ignored. No one can accept a world that only consists of oneself."

"So, you see, even when you're alone, you create a group of identical copies of yourself because of the fear of loneliness..."

...

Morning, date unknown.

It was another cold dawn. Juxi gradually woke up from his dream, still surrounded by a white room, but this time it was grayish. Is it related to the weather outside?

Still feeling a bit groggy after waking up, even though less than a day had passed, he felt as if an eternity had gone by.

Drip! Drip!

"How long did I sleep..." Juxi muttered as he turned off the alarm clock by his bedside and sat up slowly.

"I slept so comfortably... I wish I could sleep a little longer."

This time, Juxi didn't rush to change his clothes. Instead, he went to his desk and suddenly noticed a light green note with a written message.

Did you sleep well? If your body doesn't feel well, you can rest a little longer or take a nap.

"Hmm?" Juxi picked up the note and carefully read it, but couldn't find the owner's name.

Everything was so peaceful, everything was just as ordinary as usual, except outside...

"What is this place?!" Juxi went to the balcony and discovered that he was on the second-floor balcony of a wooden villa, with endless forests and snow-capped mountains in the distance.

The landscape outside the window was grand and unfamiliar. Juxi felt like he had entered an unknown space, where there was only him.

Just then, a robot that looked like a trash can appeared behind him. "You're awake?"

"Huh?"

"Sorry if I startled you. We used to be together, you know... By the way, you slept for a long time!" The robot spoke with a childish voice, causing Juxi to go weak all over.

"I..." Juxi curiously pointed at himself and then at the robot, asking, "And you! Do we know each other?"

The robot stopped in its tracks and turned back. "Of course, Master. During the time you were asleep, I took care of you until we arrived at this unfamiliar place."

"Really?"

Juxi still didn't quite understand, so he asked, "What was I doing before I came here?"

"Haha, Master, you were sleeping all the time, and you slept even more than usual," the robot said happily, as if it had never been so happy before.

But from the moment Juxi woke up until now, he was completely in the dark. He had no impression of the robot in front of him at all. Everything was so unfamiliar. He just wanted to go out into the world and breathe some fresh air.

Just as Juxi was about to push open the door and leave, the robot suddenly stopped him.

"Master, you are very weak right now, so you can't go out yet."

"It's okay, I just want to go out and get some fresh air. I won't go too far."

"But I already told you, Master, you slept for too long and you need to rest properly. Shall I bring you a bowl of soup?"

"Uh... okay, please."

"No problem, leave it to me! Master, you continue to rest..."

After saying that, the robot gently pushed Juxi back onto the bed, then turned and went downstairs to the kitchen.

As the room quieted down again, Juxi returned to his bed and enjoyed the peaceful morning.

It wasn't that he didn't long to go out, it was just that he was too tired, and he felt even more tired than usual!

For the first time, he felt so heavy, perhaps his body was really too weak, just like the robot said.

Juxi slowly closed his eyes, enjoying the tranquility of the moment, and at the same time hoping that he was still in a dream and that his true self was somewhere else, sleeping like a baby.

He had always been an atheist, Juxi never believed in anything beyond his memories.

But now it was different. With the confusion of his memories, he deeply believed that this was a trace left by God. He must have seen God before!

Or... is he still in the middle of the game set up by God?

Closing his eyes, letting the world return to darkness, perhaps when he opens his eyes again, the world will be different.

Yu Nai... Yukari... Yuanhui!

They still lingered in Juxi's mind, they never disappeared, they always had a place in Juxi's mind.

Hoo~!

Thinking of this, Juxi woke up from his dream again.

After opening his eyes, he was still in this unfamiliar room, nothing had changed.

"My dear Master, have you already rested well so soon?" The robot inexplicably appeared at the door again, and Juxi just noticed that it was hovering slightly in the air.

No wonder Juxi didn't notice it.

But Juxi was hungry now, he really needed some steaming hot food. Just porridge alone couldn't satisfy his hungry growling stomach.

"Uh... I feel much better. By the way, besides soup, is there anything else to eat here?"

"Well... Master, please allow me to search for that. Because we just moved here, we haven't unloaded all the supplies yet... Anyway, I will take a look. But Master, please don't go too far."

"Yeah, thank you."

"No need to thank me, Master, it's all my duty. And the last time you thanked me like this... hmm, I've forgotten, I only remember that you were still a baby then!"

"Oh, is it a child?"

"Yes! Those were such wonderful times, until you got used to me, and then you stopped saying thank you for a long time... but that doesn't matter now, my little master. It's just us left, so let's enjoy the time we have left!"

As the robot said this, its eyes started to flicker slightly and its gaze shifted to behind Juxi.
