"It seems that you are indeed a clever person, you know, in our line of work, having just one plan is completely useless. It's all about preparing multiple plans in advance, that's the most basic of basics. After all, instead of trying to create a flawless plan that doesn't exist, it's better to make a plan that can fail without consequences. Don't you agree, sir?"

There was a playful tone in the man's words.

"Haha, very reliable indeed, no wonder you were recommended by that person."

"You flatter me, sir."

The man in black modestly bowed.

"Well then, since you are confident about this, I won't ask any more questions. It's up to you to decide, but there is one thing I still want to inquire about."

"One thing?"

"Yes, how many more days do we need to wait until we can remove the Holy Heir from their position? Do you realize how long we've been waiting for this day? And to think they made an ignorant little brat the leader, it's a disaster waiting to happen."

As he spoke, there was a hint of anger in his voice, although the man in black couldn't see the man's face, he could tell from the tone.

"Well, there's no need to rush, sir. I heard that this country seems to have had this tradition since ancient times, where the previous Holy Heir would decide the next heir while they were still alive. And almost always, it has been a rule for a female ruler."

To this, the man flatly denied it.

"No, that's not entirely accurate."

"Ah... please elaborate, sir."

"In fact, I only learned about it recently. The tradition of female rulers seems to only have a few hundred years of history."

"A few hundred years?"

"Yes, you should know, strictly speaking, this country has a history of at least a thousand years."

"So, in the beginning, this country wasn't like this? There were male rulers."

"Well, you could say that."

The man's response lacked confidence.

"But it seems that this is also a secret deeply hidden in this country. Regular people probably wouldn't know, and even the knowledgeable people of this country only found out recently. It makes me quite curious, how did you, sir, come to know about it?"

"Actually, I can tell you. I discovered it in that fellow Crepes' house, to be precise, in a very hidden underground library, on a piece of old parchment. It appeared to be a part of some book recording our country's history, with faded characters in our ancient language. Since I couldn't understand it, I had to do a lot of research to figure it out. But even so, I couldn't fully comprehend it, as many characters on the parchment were barely legible, so I had to make guesses based on the ones I could read."

The man in black became interested upon hearing this.

"So, you weren't entirely sure about your previous answer?"

"Exactly, it was just a deduction based on a few key words. At the moment, there's no way to confirm if the answer I provided matches the original content on the parchment. Ultimately, the authenticity of that parchment's content is also unverifiable. In short, currently, I can't prove that the content on the parchment is false, but likewise, I can't confirm its truth."
