After a series of calamities, they finally got back on track.

Ryuto, catching his breath, asked the man again, "What is this...?"

Before he could finish, the man interrupted once again, "Ladies, I assume you're here to inquire about this fortune-telling machine."

With that, the man shifted his gaze to the side, completely ignoring Ryuto.

What the hell...? Why did you pretend not to hear me earlier, but now that they're here, you're already answering their questions without even being asked? This is just ridiculous...

You're such a snob, a classic case of gender discrimination. It's so obvious.

While complaining, Ryuto glared at the man with a resentful look. However, the man pretended not to notice and continued to enthusiastically introduce the machine to the others.

Damn it! He's acting all innocent! I'm furious!

"So, is this the machine that can predict the future?" Asuka asked, looking at the device in front of her with a hint of disbelief.

"Yes, just as the young lady said, this machine can indeed predict a person's future," the man replied.

"So how does it work?" Hiyori asked from the side.

"Well, young lady, it's really quite simple. All you have to do is place your palm on this machine, and it will take care of the rest. The final result will be displayed on this screen," the man explained, pointing to a spot on the machine where they should place their palm and the screen.

"So, it can predict a person's future in terms of career and other aspects?" Hiyori clarified.

"Yes, just as the young lady said," the man replied, then shifted his gaze to Katsuragi Reimi.

"But what is the principle behind this machine's predictions? After all... it's different from typical fortune-telling," Arashikaze Manami asked, seeking an answer.

"Of course it's different. You may not know this, but our great Emperor possesses the superpower to predict the future, with an accuracy rate of 100%," the man confidently answered.

"100%? So that means it has never been wrong?" Arashikaze Manami probed further.

"Yes, just as the young lady said," the man confirmed.

"I think I've heard about this before. So, according to you, the ability of your Emperor is somehow related to this machine's ability to predict the future?" Arashikaze Manami asked again.

"That's correct. By applying the predictive ability of our Emperor to this machine, we can make future predictions possible. However, the accuracy of the machine is definitely not as high as that of our Emperor. Nevertheless, it is more universal, because our Emperor, despite his accuracy, cannot predict certain things with ease," the man explained.

"In other words, you can't control what you want to predict," Arashikaze Manami summarized.

"That's right. Compared to our great Emperor, the machine's precision may be slightly lower, but it is more practical," the man affirmed.

"I see," Arashikaze Manami nodded in understanding.

At that moment, Miyuki spoke up.

"So, you're saying it can predict anything about a person's future?"

"That's correct. It can predict everything from a person's appearance to their career or even their partner," the man replied.

"Oh..." The crowd let out collective exclamations of surprise at this revelation, each with its own meaning.

Except for one person, though.

Um...

It doesn't really matter how things go, what I want is to buy the merchandise and games at the right time.

And...

You're quite clever, huh? Dealing with so many people all at once and still remaining so calm, Ryuto couldn't help but admire.

While Ryuto was contemplating like this, the others were all scheming in their hearts.
