Chapter 98 - Unexpected Attacker

The camera shifted to another scene, where Tensyoin Miyuki continued her infiltration. Were there really no guards? Just as she thought that, she heard footsteps coming from the pitch-black corridor ahead.

"Tsk..."

She clicked her tongue, realizing that it wouldn't be so easy.

So Tensyoin Miyuki stepped back slightly, retreating to the corner of the intersection she had just passed.

After a few seconds, the footsteps grew closer. Several fully armed individuals turned the corner, hesitating for a moment upon seeing Tensyoin Miyuki. Taking advantage of this opportunity, she made a declaration.

"All of you shall obey the commands of this princess."

With just those words, all of them stood up straight like puppets, momentarily dumbfounded before springing into action.

"Yes, we shall follow your orders."

Now it should be a little easier, Tensyoin Miyuki thought.

After all, she was not familiar with the layout and needed someone to guide her, not to mention having them as additional combat power.

"Lead this princess to the control room."

Like before.

"Yes."

Someone who seemed to be the leader answered.

Upon closer inspection, there were six individuals. As expected, the central command was different from the rest.

And so the group headed towards the control room.

Led by the guards, they quickly arrived and barged in. The guards were subdued by force, and then Tensyoin Miyuki immediately took control using her abilities.

"As expected, there are surveillance cameras here too? No wonder they found out that way."

Tensyoin Miyuki did not activate the self-destruct mechanism, as her objective this time was slightly different.

"Retrieve the blueprints of this place."

"Yes."

After receiving the command, an operator quickly opened the blueprints.

Examining the blueprints, it showed that the building and its basement had a total of five floors, with two areas having an astonishing amount of power supply. One was the basement, while the other was the topmost level. Which one was it?

"What are the topmost and bottommost floors used for?"

"The bottommost is a laboratory, but we don't know what the topmost is for."

"A laboratory? What kind of equipment is there?"

"Yes, there are multiple advanced computers used for data analysis and storage of experimental samples."

The main power consumption came from the computers? If that's the case, then the answer should be the topmost floor.

"Alright, all of you go to the basement and release everyone inside. After that, you can all leave together. Oh, and also unlock the door to the topmost floor."

After dividing the tasks, Tensyoin Miyuki headed directly upstairs through the staircase.

She reached the 4th floor, the topmost level, and stood in front of a massive door. Since it was already unlocked, she entered without hesitation.

Inside was a gigantic cylindrical cultivation apparatus, and inside it...

Brains, seemingly human brains.

"Ah..."

Just as she had expected, the familiar scene unfolded before her eyes. Tensyoin Miyuki trembled uncontrollably, barely managing to stay on her feet.

Along with the sound, a figure appeared from the darkness.

As the figure approached, the appearance gradually became clear. It was a tall man with a burly figure and short hair.
