After a brief moment of silence, Ryuto, with a somewhat reckless and fluent demeanor, said the somewhat, no, extremely ridiculous answer.

"......"

The classroom fell into silence, which lasted only a few seconds, but those few seconds felt quite quiet and agonizing.

Ryuto couldn't help but think, it's really not working, huh? Even I can't believe this answer. No normal person would believe it... If it doesn't work, I'll just have to tell the truth. Ryuto had already prepared for the worst in his heart.

After a few seconds, the classroom became noisy again, but the result was somewhat different from what Ryuto expected.

"Oh, is that so? That makes sense!"

"I see, I misunderstood you!"

"You scared me! I thought there was no hope and was preparing to jump off a building."

Everyone laughed together, relieved of their doubts.

...Facing everyone's reaction, Ryuto could only respond helplessly. This is just too ridiculous. How can anyone believe this answer? Are there no normal people in our class?

By the way, the last person, planning to jump off a building was too exaggerated, isn't it? Is it necessary for young people to do that? Well, let's just forget about it. Passing is good enough. Whether it's for the test takers or for myself, 60 points is the goal... Well, maybe that score isn't enough for me. What score is considered passing anyway? Probably no one knows, Ryuto couldn't help but think in his mind.

"Tenchou, is it really like that?"

But someone couldn't help but ask Asuka, who was standing there absent-mindedly. It seems there are still a few normal people.

Asuka brushed her ponytail to the side with her hand, and with a somewhat helpless expression, she answered.

"You can say that, yeah."

Perhaps having received a similar answer, the class teacher, Fujisawa Rin, who had been paralyzed since earlier, resumed her normal operation. It seems she experienced a system crash just now, a Blue Screen of Death, as they say.

"Now that Tsuchimikado and Tenchou are distant relatives, Tsuchimikado can sit next to Tenchou since there's an empty seat there."

Then, standing on the podium, she clapped her hands with a smile.

"Alright, students, go back to your seats. Class is about to start."

With these words, the farce came to an end.

The scene takes place in a luxurious-looking principal's office, at noon, after the morning classes.

Sitting in the middle chair of the room is an old man in his sixties, with some white hair. This old man is the principal of Kanagami High School, Yuuko Miroku. Normally, it would be lunch break at this time, but due to certain circumstances, it was disrupted. However, Principal Miroku doesn't seem to have time to worry about it now, as he has to focus on the current matter.

Facing the documents in his hand, Principal Miroku quickly browsed through them, then lifted his gaze to the girl in front of him and asked, with a tone full of authority.

"Is this matter serious?"

The girl in front of him has lavender-colored hair, with long hair that reaches her waist. She tied a large bow with a ribbon on her hair. In response to the principal's question, the current student council president, Arashi Manami, responded politely with a smile, appearing relaxed yet respectful.

"Of course, I believe it is necessary because it is something that our school currently lacks."

Arashi Manami vaguely explained her reasons. However, it seems that Principal Miroku didn't hear the answer he wanted, as his tone remained the same.

"Well, it cannot be denied that there is indeed a need for it, but can you tell me the reason for choosing this person to carry it out?"

As he spoke, Principal Miroku squinted his eyes slightly, gazing at Arashi Manami, and his question sounded somewhat ambiguous, but both of them knew who he was referring to.

Arashi Manami seemed to have anticipated this and didn't directly answer. Instead, she continued to smile, giving a slight bow, and met Principal Miroku's scrutinizing gaze. Then, with her usual smile, she spoke calmly.

"Although it may be impolite, before I answer this question, I have a question for the principal that I really need him to help me answer."
