The story rewinds back to two days ago, on the evening of September 2nd, a Saturday night, inside a large building.
"Damn it, what's going on? The power went out as soon as the sky went weird, and it seems even the backup power is malfunctioning."
"Uh-oh, it seems like someone took advantage of this opportunity to escape."
One man explained to another man, both of them dressed in security uniforms.
"What? How is that possible? Even with a power outage, it's not that easy to escape."
"It seems the power went out right when they approached the entrance, and they took the opportunity to flee amidst the chaos. We need to come up with a plan quickly."
The seemingly inexperienced man explained the situation to the other man once again.
"In that case, there's no need to worry. Someone will take care of it."
The man said dismissively, and since he said so, the rookie beside him didn't ask further questions.

"Ha...ha..."
Gasping sounds echoed continuously in the dark corridor. In the dim moonlight, one could barely make out a girl running down the corridor, muttering to herself.
"Where am I? Why did I wake up in this place?"
The girl's voice sounded panicked.
As she spoke, the girl couldn't help but recall what happened before. It seemed she had been in a car accident on the highway, but she couldn't remember anything after that. She should have been taken to the hospital, but in reality, she woke up in this unfamiliar place.
Although she didn't know why she ended up in this place, fortunately, the power outage happened at the right moment. And she wasn't the only one who had been brought to this place. Because of this, she was able to escape amidst the chaos of the blackout. Regardless, even though she wasn't sure where she was, her intuition told her that this place was very dangerous. In any case, she needed to escape first.
While the girl was lost in thought, she had already approached the exit.
It seemed to be the way out. Great, she would be able to leave soon. The girl couldn't help but feel relieved.
Just as the girl was about to continue running forward, a huge figure suddenly blocked the doorway, causing her to come to a halt.
Due to the dim light, she couldn't see the person's face clearly, but she could make out that it was a tall man with short hair.
Facing the sudden appearance of the man, the girl couldn't help but kneel down in despair. Although she didn't know who this person was, she was certain that he had come to capture her. The girl understood that very well and, at this moment, she instinctively felt fear, like a rabbit being stared at by a tiger.
Just as the girl felt despondent, the man suddenly threw a dagger in front of her.
"I'll give you a chance."
The man continued speaking in a chilling tone.
"I won't dodge. Pick up that knife on the ground. If you successfully kill me, you can go free."
"What..."
The girl seemed to be taken aback by the man's unexpected words. She just stood there, not fully comprehending what he meant. But the girl was well aware of what it meant to kill someone.
However, the man grew impatient after seeing the girl's reaction.
"What's wrong? If you don't make a move, I'll have to take action. Think about it. As long as you kill me, you can survive. Isn't that a good deal? There's no need to feel anxious or guilty about killing someone; it's perfectly normal for people to kill each other. Come on... make your move."
The man continued tempting her with demonic words. Under his influence, the girl reluctantly picked up the knife from the ground with an unnatural motion.
With a cry of "Ah," the girl rushed straight towards the man. The distance between them gradually closed, and in the end, just as the man said, he didn't dodge. He stood still, and the knife plunged into his abdomen, just as the girl had expected.
For an instant, time seemed to stand still, and both parties remained motionless.
After a while, the girl slowly stepped back, the expression on her face was not regret from the act of killing but rather a panicked look. She couldn't believe her eyes as she looked at the man in front of her and the knife in her hand.
Somehow, the knife seemed to have had no effect. It hadn't caused any harm to the man. He stood there perfectly fine, without a drop of blood flowing from where he had been stabbed, not even a wound.
How could this be...
As he faced the stunned girl standing there, the man revealed a malicious smile that he had not shown before.
"Now it's my turn, then..."
The man referred to his upcoming actions in such a way, his words filled with an undeniable sense of excitement.
"The hunt begins!"
