Slightly later in time, in a high-end hotel, a middle-aged man who had just escaped back was covered in blood. He gasped for breath as he looked at the screen in front of him.

Before the middle-aged man could speak, the young man on the screen asked first, "What about the mission?"

Gasping for breath, the middle-aged man replied, "I'm very sorry, it failed."

"Oh."

The young man, however, had an expression of no surprise, as if he had already expected it.

"That, the target..."

The middle-aged man seemed to want to say something, but before he could finish, the young man nonchalantly interrupted, "That's enough. You, who have failed multiple times, no longer hold any value to us. There's nothing else to say. However, I am fair in giving rewards and punishments. As a reward for your years of completing missions, I will send you off in the end."

The middle-aged man was still prepared to say something, but the screen had already been closed. In the next instant, with the sound of an explosion, the entire room turned into a sea of fire.

The camera switched to the other side.

At the moment, a dark shadow appeared on the screen in front of the young man. The shadow spoke, "How did things go, Karen?"

"Although there were some complications, everything went smoothly as far as the results are concerned."

"Have all the related individuals been taken care of?"

"Of course, they have all been dealt with according to the orders."

The dark shadow didn't feel surprised after hearing this; it was as if everything had been expected.

"Hmm, I felt it just now."

"No wonder you're Lord Roque."

Speaking of this, the speaker suddenly threw out a topic that was quite unexpected, catching the young man off guard.

"Karen, do you think... this world is fair?"

"It's... quite rare for Lord Roque to ask someone else a question, isn't it?"

"Well, isn't there a saying that goes 'Be open to other people's opinions'?"

"That's true, but Lord Roque should be well aware that there's no need to ask for opinions from subordinates, right?"

"Well, the tone you're using doesn't sound like that of a subordinate. You also know that it's rare for me to ask like this. Can't you just cooperate for now?"

The other side spoke mischievously.

"It seems that Lord Roque is in a good mood today."

"Well, you could say that."

"Then, should I answer seriously?"

"Of course, if I don't answer seriously, it would be pointless to ask. I dislike doing useless work, and as my subordinate, you should also be well aware of this. So, if you were a competent subordinate, you should be actively cooperating now, shouldn't you?"

"Well then."

Since the superior had spoken to this extent, if he were to persist... So, the young man began to speak.

"Lord's intention was to ask if this world is fair, right? Regarding this, my answer is 'unfair.'"

"Oh... to answer so definitively, is that really a good thing?"

"Of course, this question has a clear answer. Although there are many questions that are relative, meaning there are no absolute answers, there are still a few rare questions that do have absolute answers."

"Then, in your opinion, how should one judge whether a question has an absolute answer or not?"

"There is no absolute conclusion on this matter. Ultimately, one needs to think for themselves, handle specific situations accordingly. Well, this is still something that humans lack at present."

Upon hearing the young man's point of view, the other side could only respond with helplessness.

"Indeed, most modern humans have gradually lost their ability to think independently while pursuing efficiency. With technology so advanced now, complex matters are mostly left to computers to handle, and people only care about the final answer. Over time, people start to believe that thinking is unnecessary. And the question just now, in general, there are no absolute answers to questions. That's why people have the illusion that any conclusion can be judged with the phrase 'this statement is too absolute.' Furthermore, they confidently believe that they won't be wrong. So, if it were an ordinary person, they would certainly think that your answer just now was too absolute, of course, this is a statement made without any thought or reflection, it's just a boring repetition, truly unsightly, modern people."

"So, what is your opinion on this matter, Lord Roc?
