"How's it going?"

In a certain room, a deep voice filled the space.

"We've taken control of the entire hall, but it seems we haven't found the target."

Upon hearing the report, the man furrowed his brow, his expression complex.

"That doesn't make sense. Anyway, we have to continue with the plan."

"Understood."

Another person operating a machine in front of him responded as such.

The man's cellphone rang, and when he answered it, he heard a voice that seemed to be the captain.

"Any updates? Have you found them?"

Although the voice sounded calm, a hint of anxiety could be detected upon closer listening.

"Not yet."

After hearing this, the captain abruptly ended the call. The man wasn't angered by the one-sided hang-up, not because he was the captain, but because there simply wasn't time to be bothered by such trivial matters now.

Just as the man was pondering a strategy for the plan's error, the wall next to him suddenly cracked, as if it had calculated the perfect timing. Although it was described as cracking, it wasn't chaotic cracks; on the contrary, they were perfectly straight. Then, the wall collapsed along the cracks, the cut was smooth and neat, as if it had been sliced open by a sharp weapon. No, it should be said that it was indeed sliced open. The man confidently asserted this after seeing the girl who appeared behind the collapsing wall, especially after seeing the long knife she held in her hand.

Due to the sudden and unexpected turn of events, the two people in the room were momentarily stunned. Before the men could regain their senses, the girl decisively took action. She instantly appeared in front of one of the men and struck him in the chest with her palm. The man fell to the ground and the other man, who was operating the machine, was also knocked down by the girl using the same method. Both of them were taken down with one fatal blow.

"I didn't expect it to go so smoothly. Although breaking through the wall was a bit rough, it was quite effective. Should I call it 'simple and brutal'? Oh well, for now, efficiency is what matters. Ah, I'm becoming more and more like a modern person."

Saying this, Ryuto used a rope he found somewhere to tie up the unconscious duo while also retrieving the communication device from the man's body. Hiyori looked around the room and couldn't help but ask.

"Lord Ryuto, where are we?"

"This should be the control room. From here, we can see almost the entire bank."

Hiyori looked around with curiosity in her eyes. Ryuto walked towards the control panel. For someone who frequently played video games, operating it was quite simple. Ryuto observed the situation in the hall through the screen and couldn't help but sigh.

"There are quite a few people. There are five people in the hall, all armed with guns and wearing masks. Are they trying to be like masked heroes?... The others have all been tied up, making things a bit more difficult."

Ryuto carefully observed these five individuals. From their movements, it was clear that they were not ordinary robbers. Their movements were skillful, expressions calm. Well, although their faces couldn't be seen, it was most likely the case. They were obviously professionals. Indeed, professionals and amateurs are different. However, Ryuto discovered something suspicious. Would professionals like them really rob a bank?

But regardless of that, they needed to take action as soon as possible. The longer they delayed, the more dangerous it became.

At the same time, outside the bank.

A considerable number of people had gathered, including policemen and ordinary citizens. However, the ordinary citizens had already been isolated and could only stand at a distance. Therefore, the entrance was filled with only policemen. Since they heard that the criminals were armed, the police were equipped with bulletproof shields, fully armed and ready for action.

One of the commanders, who didn't know the situation inside and the criminals hadn't made any specific demands yet, was hesitating on what to do. Just then, they heard a command.

"Don't make any sudden moves!"

The commander, a little annoyed by the audacity of someone issuing unauthorized orders, looked for the source of the voice but immediately regretted his impulsive behavior when he saw who it was.

The woman who had given the order earlier approached. She looked to be in her twenties and was the same woman who had fought Hiyori that morning. Fearing punishment for her disrespectful behavior, the commander called out shakily.

"Major..."The woman paid no attention to the trembling commander and continued speaking.

"We cannot move yet. According to the instructions from that person, we will act five minutes from now."

The commander's face showed surprise upon hearing this, but without much thought, he agreed. It can be said that he passively agreed, as he had never seen the person mentioned by the woman, but since this person was her superior, he dared not underestimate them.

While the commander was still in a daze, the woman flashed a casual smile.

"After five minutes, the mission will be over."

****************************************************

The location is in the bank hall.

"How's it going?"

"Not yet."

"I see."

Once again, the same response. Although he felt it was a bit strange, the man didn't pay much attention to it because he needed to focus on the current situation.

As the seemingly leader figure, fully armed, received information from his subordinates, his masked face revealed a sense of impatience in his tone. This was not surprising since he understood that some matters needed to be resolved swiftly. The longer the situation dragged on, the more disadvantageous it became. Therefore, the man dared not be the slightest bit negligent.

"Report, we found him fainting in the restroom."

Upon hearing this professional report, the man snapped out of his thoughts and directed a reproachful gaze at the one who spoke, as if blaming him for exposing their secret. The man who made the report seemed to have realized his mistake and closed his mouth without saying anything further.

However, when the man saw the person brought by his subordinate, he couldn't help but wonder what had happened. The member who was supposed to infiltrate first had been knocked out by someone unknown. But his thoughts were quickly interrupted by what happened next.

Suddenly, all the lights in the hall went out. The man was surprised by the sudden darkness, as it was still daytime. In order to delay the arrival of the police, the roller shutter of the bank had been pulled down, so although it wasn't completely dark, the light was dim. The sudden blackout caused the eyes to need some time to adjust. Even though they were usually well-trained, there was inevitably a momentary hesitation in their reactions. After a few seconds, when their eyes finally adapted to the darkness, the lights suddenly came back on. The sudden brightness left the men confused, as their previously adapted eyes were temporarily blinded again.

But Ryuto, without intending to give them time to adjust their eyes, lest he himself be in trouble, acted while the men were in a panic. The ceiling above suddenly split open, and a figure jumped down from above. Although his eyes were squinted due to the dazzling light, Ryuto could still vaguely see the figure.

As the figure landed, he used the momentum to kick the man who made the report in the face. The man seemed to fall backward without even making a sound, directly fainting.

"Wow, it seems so painful."

Watching this scene from a certain place, Ryuto unconsciously touched his own face, imagining the pain that the kicked man must be feeling. Just the thought of it made him cringe in pain. How painful must it be for the person involved? There's a saying that the force is mutual, and it made him even want to kick a few times just to experience the pain himself.

While Ryuto was experiencing someone else's pain, the figure didn't hesitate. He immediately smashed another man's head with the back of his knife. The man's body arched like a bow as he took the blow, freezing in that position for a moment. But that state only lasted for an instant. Afterward, the man's body flew backward, maintaining the arched posture, and crashed into the nearby wall. Taking advantage of the situation, the figure quickly knocked out the other two men on the other side.

"They truly are a team. Their body shapes are so similar. Is it because they are in the same team that they have such similar body shapes, or is it because of their similar body shapes that they are in the same team? Equality, huh..."

A certain person in a certain place murmured to himself while holding a manga book.

The leader figure, who had been absent-minded since earlier, finally snapped out of it. He couldn't help but be astonished when he realized what was happening in front of his eyes. Although they couldn't be considered elite, four well-trained big men had been defeated by a fifteen or sixteen-year-old girl within a matter of seconds. The rapid development of the situation was something that this man hadn't expected.

But it could be said that they deserved to be called a team. At this moment, he didn't just stand there dumbfounded. It seemed that years of experience were coming into play. As for what kind of experience it was, let's not delve too deeply into it. The man was acutely aware that the girl in front of him was not an ordinary person. It had to be this way, otherwise, if just any random person on the street could be this powerful, what would become of the country? At least his own self-esteem would not allow that. For some reason, the man quickly regained his composure and watched as the girl, with her right eye tightly shut, charged straight at him. The man calmly and swiftly picked up the submachine gun in his hand, surpassing the visual acuity of a human being. An abundance of bullets would strike the girl. Dealing with her was not part of the original plan, and there were others who remained besides himself. Furthermore, he didn't know who this girl was. However, the man was certain that if he wanted to achieve his ultimate goal, he had to eliminate the girl in front of him, or else his entire plan would be ruined.

While aiming at his target and preparing to shoot, a smirk appeared at the corner of the man's mouth. Years of experience had taught him that at such a close distance, bullets fired at supersonic speeds were impossible for an ordinary person to dodge, let alone a large number of them.

It's over.

The man inwardly declared.
