Hi, everyone. My name is Aya. My full name is… Well, Dragon names tend to be pretty long, so let’s leave that for another time.
I might—possibly, perhaps—have just run into a once-in-a-thousand-years space-time rift, been swallowed by a spatial tear, and drifted into a parallel universe completely different from my own. In this world, the person dating me wasn’t Her Highness Milanía, the Second Princess and Silver War Maiden. Instead, it was a red-haired, golden-eyed young girl.
“Stop trying to fool yourself and accept reality, big brother. You haven’t traveled to another world. Doris is your real little sister.”
The girl gently pulled back the blanket and held both hands out in front of Aya.
“Forget whether I’ve traveled to another world—could you please get dressed first?!”
Aya rolled off the bed. Gripping the edge with both hands and peeking over it, he shouted, his face bright red.
That’s right. When the girl reached out to him, the blanket slipped, revealing that she was wearing only simple sleep clothes.
“But Doris is your little sister, so you don’t have to worry about a thing, big brother.”
“How does that logic even work?!”
Aya pounded the bed as he demanded an explanation.
What in the world was going on?! This girl had suddenly appeared and was calling him her big brother… Where had she even come from?
A cool breeze brushed past him from behind. Aya’s mouth twitched, and he glanced over his shoulder.
The floor-to-ceiling window stood open, its gauzy curtains billowing in the cold highland wind.
Coming in through the window is trespassing, isn’t it?! I’m calling the police! And sneaking into my bed without a word… Even if this is supposed to be some kind of fan service, I’m not happy about it… Probably.
Damn it! My eyes keep drifting to the girl’s beautiful body! I mustn’t give in!
“Besides, clothes aren’t really important to us, are they~?”
The girl sat up too and winked at Aya. “All right. If you insist, big brother, Doris will get dressed.”
As soon as she finished speaking, golden light shimmered across her fair skin. A layer of light quickly covered her from head to toe. A moment later, it broke apart into tiny, fading sparks, leaving her dressed in a youthful, summery outfit: a short skirt and a lively-looking top. A ribbon gathered her loose red hair into a side ponytail.
“Is this all right now?”
“Ah… yeah.”
Aya answered, but his questions had only multiplied. For one thing, how had this girl who called herself Doris made those clothes appear?
Aya often used Magic to reshape the scales invisible to the naked eye into clothes. Did that mean this girl was a Dragon too, just like him?
Unlike the Dragonkin priestess serving the Orc God, this girl was the first of his own kind Aya had met outside his parents and the Abyssal Dragon.
“You… stay right there and don’t move.”
Still unsure what to make of her, Aya took another step back. The red-haired girl on the bed had started to move closer, but he stopped her.
To his surprise, she obeyed without complaint. She sat back on her knees, placed her hands neatly on them, and gazed at Aya with bright, expectant golden eyes.
“All right. Let’s… talk this through first.”
“Mm-hmm! No problem. Doris will do whatever big brother says (๑╹◡╹).” The girl nodded again and again.
“First…”
Aya tried to keep his expression calm. “Why do you call me big brother?”
“Because big brother is big brother!” the girl answered, raising her hand.
“That’s it?” Aya’s eye twitched.
“Um… because you’re a boy, and you’re older than Doris?” The girl tilted her head.
“I’m not asking what the word means…” Aya sighed. “Never mind. We’ll leave that for now. Why did you sneak in while I was asleep, and… climb into my bed?”
“Doris is going to marry big brother! o(*////▽////*)q”
Aya nearly choked on his own spit.
Had he somehow landed the role of a harem protagonist in his dream? He’d fallen asleep and woken up to a beautiful girl throwing herself at him. What kind of plot twist was this?
“Um… your name is Doris, right? Do you actually know what it means to get married?”
“Of course! Doris is old enough to get married.” The girl planted her hands on her hips, looking rather proud of herself.
Now that she mentioned it, judging a Dragon’s age by their human appearance wasn’t reliable. For all Aya knew, she might be able to change her size whenever she pleased, just like Ciella.
“So, how old are you this year?”
“Fourteen!”
“Are you trying to get me arrested?!”
Why was this kid already thinking about marriage at fourteen? That wasn’t something she should be worrying about at her age!
Aya stepped over and tapped the girl on the head. “I’m not going to marry you. Besides, you should at least wait until you’re an adult before thinking about marriage.”
“Ugh… I still can’t?”
The girl covered the spot he’d tapped and looked crestfallen. “But Auntie is already so jealous of Doris.”
Jealous? What was this kid talking about… Huh?
Aya’s gaze flicked toward Doris, and his eyes widened in surprise.
W-was this girl really only fourteen?
He thought back to the confusing moment when he’d first woken up and felt someone moving beside him. Aya’s right hand twitched reflexively, and he couldn’t hide his shock.
Setting Miss Tiran aside, Aya had always thought the little Angel was a better example of what someone her apparent age might look like—around fifteen or sixteen. But Doris seemed much older than her age at first glance.
A baby face with a surprisingly grown-up air… Ahem.
“No, no… that’s not the point!”
Aya shook his head hard. When he looked back at the bed, Doris had vanished.
“She’s gone—”
“I’m right here~”
A sudden impact came from behind, and Doris’s voice sounded by his ear, as if she’d just pulled off a successful prank.
Oh no. I’m going to lose my balance—
With a thump, Doris knocked Aya onto the soft bed and pinned his arms behind him. She held him down before he could get back up.
“Hey, hey, what are you trying to do?!” Aya panicked as he felt her trying to keep his arms pinned.
“If big brother won’t listen, I’ll just have to make him listen. Don’t worry—I’ll apologize properly afterward.”
“Then stop doing it!”
Aya never expected this girl to be so forceful. He tried to break free, but she was a Dragon too, and just as strong as he was. He couldn’t escape in a hurry.
As for Magic… Doris was a Dragon with extremely high resistance to it, so it probably wouldn’t do much.
Should he use a law?
Aya hesitated. In the end, she was still just a kid…
Just then, a cool draft brushed against his back.
“Huh?”
“Wow, you’re really strong, big brother!” Doris exclaimed, her face turning bright red.
Doris's face was bright red, but she swallowed and continued to grope Aya all over.
“Stop it already!”
She was serious. He couldn’t hesitate any longer.
Aya’s scalp prickled. Just as he was about to use the law of time to freeze the girl in place, the bedroom door suddenly swung open.
“Senior Aya! You need to get out of here—huh? Wait… Wh-what?!”
The little Angel rushed into the room, then froze when she saw the chaotic scene inside.
