A pair of curled horns rose from his head, and pure white flames kindled in his pitch-black pupils!
This was Bexia’s Destruction Phantom God—a phantom body bearing all of his laws of destruction!
With his phantom body fused with him, Bexia turned all his power into destructive force. Combined with the two forces of monstrous might and divine chaos, it was enough to knock back the Star-Devouring Serpent, that enormous beast. He also came to understand the gap between them. The Star-Devouring Serpent might not be especially powerful, but it was far more terrifying than an Eternal-level god!
“Sss—!”
After Bexia punched it back, the Star-Devouring Serpent let out a hiss. Its terrifying sonic waves shook many of the weaker people inside the world to pieces, killing them on the spot. It was like a terrible hurricane sweeping through; wherever it passed, the ground was ripped up to a depth of dozens of meters!
“Might and Divine Chaos: Bear the World!”
Bexia stamped his foot in the void. His body swelled rapidly, as if it were inflating. In the blink of an eye, he had grown to a thousand meters, then ten thousand. He kept growing until he stood a hundred million meters tall—and only then was he just about as thick as one of the Star-Devouring Serpent’s heads!

Bexia slammed a fist into the Star-Devouring Serpent’s head, unleashing a terrifying storm of energy. As his body grew, his strength climbed in a straight line. The battle went on for days and nights. Bexia drove the Star-Devouring Serpent back across the distance of more than a dozen ten-million-scale dimensional worlds. He strode through space, crossing distances beyond count. But the Star-Devouring Serpent was even more terrifying: one lash of its tail shattered countless stars, and a blast of energy left nothing but emptiness in its path!
The Star-Devouring Serpent grew weaker as the fight went on. Thanks to the Cup of Fusion, Bexia’s energy was constantly replenished. Even so, he was exhausted—but he was still far better off than a cosmic beast fighting on an empty stomach.
The Star-Devouring Serpent gradually began to look exhausted. It wasn’t truly tired so much as weakened. It had just woken from its slumber, like a human suddenly roused by hunger, and then fought Bexia for so long that the energy within it had nearly run dry. Naturally, its combat strength began to decline.
“Sss—roar!”
The Star-Devouring Serpent let out a mournful cry and quickly curled its enormous body into a ball. It had no choice but to transform itself into something like a celestial body and enter a deep sleep to conserve its energy. Otherwise, a colossal creature like this would die from lack of energy!
As if he understood what the Star-Devouring Serpent was doing, Bexia shoved it away with both hands once it had curled into a sphere. He watched as it drifted farther and farther away. Then his body gradually shrank back to its normal size, and in the next instant, he vanished in a teleport.
To outsiders, the battle between Bexia and the Star-Devouring Serpent seemed almost like a dream. This world had its share of Immortal Gods, but none of them could put up any resistance against the Star-Devouring Serpent, let alone fight it the way Bexia had. That was simply impossible!
By sheer luck, this world had survived. To those who lived through it, the whole thing felt like a dream. Bexia, meanwhile, instantly became the talk of the town. Some people even recorded his battle with the Star-Devouring Serpent and uploaded the footage to the virtual-world network!

“You’re actually this strong!” Talisha exclaimed, as if she were seeing Bexia for the first time. The Destruction Phantom God didn’t look like Bexia himself, but she’d seen his Destruction Phantom Body before, so she knew it was him!
“Maybe you’re just too weak. If you trained properly, you could be just like me!” Bexia rolled his eyes at her. She had an Earth Divinity and his guidance, yet her progress was still this slow. And she had the nerve to say that!
“Then how strong would I have to get to be as powerful as you? ⊙▽⊙!”
“You’d need to reach the Immortal God level, then comprehend the third level of Might and Divine Chaos—Bearing Heaven and Earth. That should just about do it!” Bexia thought for a moment before answering.
But even then, Talisha definitely wouldn’t be able to do what he did. After all, he wielded the power of destruction, the most destructive law in the universe. The power of the earth was clearly nowhere near as powerful as the power of destruction!
