The Book of Time is an artifact self-birthed by the universe, one could say it is a history book of the cosmos. Anything that happens within the universe is completely recorded in it, making it an impeccable historical record.

ShiTian quietly supplemented Bexia's knowledge, and the group, following Gryphon's steps, soon arrived in a space of nothingness, where a huge book was quietly placed atop the void. The pages that were flipped revealed nothing but blankness, yet gave an impression as if there were words inscribed upon them.

"Don't move around. It wouldn't be good if you trigger the power of the Book of Time!" Gryphon cautioned the group. Even with his strength, he had to be cautious, let alone Bexia and the others.

"I'll be right back!" Gryphon said before he flew towards the Book of Time.

"Hmm~!?" At that moment, a faint groan sounded, and Long Nyssa, carrying Long Momo on her back, slowly opened her eyes, looking around curiously and somewhat confusedly asking, "Where am I?"

"MoMo, you're awake!" Long Nyssa exclaimed in delight as she gently set Long Momo down on her feet.

"Seesee, why are you here?" Long Momo's memory was still stuck at being chased and fleeing into a temporal crack, the events after being immobilized by Gryphon all completely erased from her mind.

"We'll explain that later. Take a look, who is this?" Long Nyssa teasingly pushed Long Momo forward, who landed right in Bexia's arms as he stepped forward to embrace her warmly.

"Sis Dragon, it's been so long…" Bexia grinned, gazing at Long Momo, now half a head shorter than him.

"You…" Long Momo looked at Bexia and couldn't help but burst into tears. She had thought she would never see Bexia again, and now seeing him again felt surreal.

The surroundings fell silent, with only the soft sobs of Long Momo heard, prompting others to instinctively create space for the two.

"Why have you come back?" After crying for a while, Long Momo managed to compose herself and question Bexia.

"Just took the chance to come back and find you guys, didn't I?" Bexia said helplessly; otherwise, he would have returned much earlier.

With that, Bexia gently cupped Long Momo's face, wiping away the tears that clung to the corners of her eyes. The intimate gesture made Long Momo blush, yet she didn't resist, letting him carry on.

"Hiss—!" Suddenly, Long Momo clutched her head and gasped.

"What's wrong?" Bexia hurried to support her, but to his surprise, a powerful aura emanated from Long Momo, immediately restraining him.

"Sis Dragon, what do you intend to do?" Bexia looked puzzled at Long Momo, but all he saw were her cold, golden vertical pupils.

"MoMo, what are you doing?" Long Nyssa, witnessing this, rushed forward, only to be pushed away by a word from Long Momo, sending her flying.

"You're not MoMo, you're the Dragon God!" Long Nyssa, seeing Long Momo's eyes, instantly realized the truth with a terrified expression.

"Haha! Didn't expect it all to be true. This small world indeed hid the Book of Time!" The Dragon God laughed heartily as he gazed at the massive Book of Time ahead.

"Aren't you supposed to be dead?"

"Humph! How could mere mortals like you fathom the means of a deity?" The Dragon God arrogantly stated, grabbing Bexia by the neck, raising a warning to the rest, "You better not act recklessly, or I'll kill him!"

With that threat, everyone halted in their tracks, while Sakuya's gaze shifted towards the Book of Time, crying out, "Master, help us!"

However, Gryphon remained unresponsive.

"Do you think I'd be foolish enough to suddenly confront a Sovereign deity?" The Dragon God smirked, knowing fully well he wouldn't stand a chance against Gryphon even at full strength, let alone in his current unconscious state.

The reason the Dragon God appeared was due to his assurance. The Book of Time wasn't a simple object; even Gryphon would need to exert his full efforts to handle it. Hence, Gryphon's consciousness was completely immersed in the Book of Time and oblivious to what was transpiring outside.

Greed evident in his eyes, the Dragon God led Bexia as a shield, preventing others from approaching, and swiftly flew towards the Book of Time.

The Dragon God deliberately steered clear of Gryphon, for even though he was currently an unconscious shell, challenging a Sovereign deity was not something the Dragon God would dare. So, he chose to give way.

Being an artifact that records past epochs, the Book of Time possesses a miraculous power: the ability to rewrite history. Events from the past are etched within it, and by altering these recorded events, the changed parts become the new reality—that is why the Dragon God has been biding his time in this secluded place.

Once a Sovereign deity, the Dragon God had met his end in a battle against another Sovereign in his original world, escaping with a sliver of his divine essence. Unwilling to accept his defeat, he sought to reverse his fate. Learning of Gryphon's pursuit of the Book of Time, he devised a plan to rewrite history.

Though he had tracked Gryphon's whereabouts, the Book of Time had remained elusive. Hence, he slumbered in this small realm until now, finally seizing the opportunity he so long awaited.
