Ottoman Kingdom Ruins
Although the area had taken on a completely different appearance, Bexia could still vaguely see some familiar buildings and memories from a long time ago were stirred up in his mind. Back then, he was just an ordinary person who knew nothing, brought here by Ophelia in a state of ignorance.
But now, this place had turned into a gathering place for outsiders, a group of notorious outsiders at that.
Bexia found out some information - this so-called Star Ghost Alliance was actually a mercenary organization, willing to accept any task for money, and their usual deeds involved looting and pillaging, much like the Yellow Sand Bandits that Bexia had eliminated before, just with a nicer name.
The fact that the Star Ghost Alliance destroyed the Ottoman Kingdom was not something Bexia could overlook. While he didn't have any feelings towards the Ottoman Kingdom, he had deep emotions for Ophelia. In this sense, seeking revenge on the Star Ghost Alliance was also avenging Ophelia.
"Conesy, this is up to you now," Bexia said calmly. When it came to large-scale attacks, Conesy was the strongest among the others present.
"Yes, master!" Conesy nodded, looking down at the city below with an expressionless face as she controlled her own ship.
"Weapons unlocked by 50%..."
"Now beginning control..."
"Energy starting to fill..."
"Filling 1%... 10%... 100%!"
"Energy filled! Shall we commence the attack?"
Conesy's hidden ship emerged from space, splitting into two, with numerous dark cannons aimed at the Star Ghost Alliance's base below.
"Commence!" Conesy waved her hand forward, and the cannons on her ship, now filled with energy, instantly unleashed a barrage of firepower onto the base below, overwhelming it with a relentless assault. The onslaught from Conesy's ship turned the Star Ghost Alliance's base into a fiery wasteland in the blink of an eye, with many not even having time to react before turning to ashes in the terrifyingly swift attack!
"Who did this?!" a furious roar erupted from the fiery ruins, as a black figure suddenly shot up from the wreckage and directly rammed into Conesy's ship.
"Bang!" Conesy's shield was hit, causing a massive wave, but it didn't harm Conesy in the slightest. Instead, the force of the impact sent the black figure flying backward.
"Boom, boom, boom!" Conesy immediately fired a shot, blasting the black figure into the ground, creating a large crater.
"Master, the mission is complete. Detected no life signs in the vicinity!" Conesy promptly reported the situation to Bexia. Despite the countless lives she had taken, as a weapon of war, she remained indifferent, finding only a sense of accomplishment in completing her mission. If she could receive praise from Bexia, it would be even better.
"You've worked hard, Conesy," Bexia said.
"Serving the master is my duty!" Conesy joyfully responded.
"How many times have I told you, you're so formal every time!" Bexia turned to look at Conesy, then reached out to pat her cheek, a gesture of intimacy that made her blush.
"I think that's the spatial fissure up ahead!" Bexia, knowing Conesy was sensitive, didn't tease her further and instead directed her gaze at the screen, where a massive spatial fissure was projected.
"This isn't any ordinary spatial fissure, but a more advanced spacetime fissure!" Ink Qinqin, who had been quietly sipping tea, smiled faintly and remarked, "There's definitely something remarkable inside. If it were a common spacetime fissure, it would be incredibly turbulent, constantly devouring surrounding time and space to grow stronger. But this spacetime fissure is remarkably stable, almost like a fixed portal!"
"Betty, you must understand, right?"
"Ink Auntie means a man-made spacetime fissure, right? Just unsure about the strength of the person behind it," Bexia replied with a smile.
"From the aura, the opponent's strength is definitely not greater than mine. However, space is king, time is emperor, and the power generated by the fusion of space and time is not as simple as one might imagine. There have been only a few instances of such occurrences recorded in the universe!" Ink Qinqin said lightly.
"Do you know who set up this spacetime fissure, Ink Auntie?"
"That can only be speculated, as some people prefer to keep a low profile!" Ink Qinqin smiled, took another sip of tea, and continued.
Ink Qinqin's words were simply a warning, and Bexia understood the implication. But seeing her calm demeanor, she knew she was confident. Therefore, Bexia wasn't overly worried.
As they approached the spacetime fissure, Bexia and the others felt a strange force suppressing their powers. While Ink Qinqin and Lucifer didn't react adversely, they were unable to get closer to the spacetime fissure.
"It seems that Ink Auntie and Lucifer can only stay behind!" Bexia glanced at Conesy and said, "Conesy, you should stay outside as well, providing support."
The support Bexia mentioned referred to Conesy's built-in extradimensional communication device, capable of overcoming various environmental influences for communication - a precautionary measure, as no one knew what might happen within the spacetime fissure.
As soon as they entered the spacetime fissure, Bexia felt a peculiar sensation, especially the eerie distortion of time, with moments seeming to speed up or slow down inexplicably, though in reality, time remained unchanged.
