"You..." Luo Cailing was left speechless by the remarks. It was hard to argue against being called either an old hag or a child, both titles left her feeling uncomfortable, especially the former!
"Alright, Ah Ling! He's just teasing you, don't fall for it!" Xian grabbed Luo Cailing's hand and hugged her, the two little girls huddling together, whispering and looking adorable.
Whatever Luo Ningxian said seemed to really calm Luo Cailing down. She just shot him a cold look and hmphed, not even pointing the crossbow at Bexia's head. It was quite strange!
"Big brother! Let's continue searching for the Book of Luo!" Luo Ningxian addressed Bexia.
"Okay, let's listen to Xian!" Bexia ruffled her head, finding Xian's character quite lovable.
"It looks like a huge battle took place around here!" After flying a distance, Bexia noticed some large marks in the riverbed, remnants of a battle that, despite the time passed, were still faintly visible.
"That ancient beast skeleton from before didn't die a natural death, it seems to have been affected by the battle!" Yue frowned as she observed.
"Do you think it's related to the monster in the sky from the illusion?" Bexia pondered curiously.
"Perhaps!" Yue answered absentmindedly. She wasn't sure either, as she hadn't experienced ancient battles; how could she possibly know the truth?
As they moved forward, piles of bones started appearing, with the occasional Bone Demon, all of which couldn't escape Luo Cailing's crossbow - one shot and they were gone!
"It's quite vast around here; this should be the area where the ancient powerhouses battled!" After passing through the bone-strewn area, Bexia and the others came across a huge crater. There were no bones around, but the thick aura of demonic resentment indicated that a mighty existence had once died there.
The more powerful the existence, the more intense the resentment of gods and demons in the place where they are after death, especially if they harbor feelings of unwillingness, as can be seen from the resentment emanating from this deep pit. Here, powerful ancient gods and demons have fallen in battle before!

"There is no room for negotiation in this matter. Behave and go inside!" Bexia lifted Higanbana by her collar and tossed her into the hyperspace. Seeing this, Beibei knew she couldn't escape and chose to bring her umbrella and run in by herself.
"Be careful down there, it feels very dangerous!" Bexia warned the remaining three girls.
"We don't need you to worry about us!" Luo Cailing said with an angry expression, then spread her wings of light and jumped down together with Luo Ningxian.
"Why did I provoke her?" Bexia looked at Yueliang in exasperation.
"Tch—" Yueliang didn't give Bexia a good face at all, leaving him even more puzzled. What on earth was going on with this person?

The descent into the deep pit was extremely deep, and Bexia and the others fell for a long time before seeing the bottom.
