"At home, it's so boring, and without Dad here, Higanbana..." Seeing the situation, Higanbana immediately launched the second stage of her planned attack. She pouted her lips, and mist began to swirl in her eyes, as if deeply wronged.

"You..." Bexia closed his eyes, to be honest, he wasn't that angry, and after all, it wouldn't be good for them to go back now that they had followed him here.

"Fine! You can come along, but you must be careful, and if there's danger, then hide in my subspace, got it?" Bexia sighed and said, "If you can't do that, I'll lock you in there now!"

"Mmm~!" The three little ones nodded in response.

"So, where should we go next?" Yue floated to Bexia's side and asked.

"That depends on Xian!" Bexia surveyed the seemingly identical black world around them. The space of the ancient God's battlefield was said to be no smaller than any continent on Pangu, vast and directionless. That's why Luo Chen had given them the signal bracelet to find their way.

"I don't feel anything..." Luo Ningxian took out a half book of Luo's Book from her hand, but there was no response.

"In the ancient God's battlefield, it's all about luck. Let's just walk our own path!" Luo Cailing didn't like relying on chance. She decisively spoke up and led the way forward.

"Well, that's all we can do!" Bexia also felt helpless, but she had to admit that Luo Cailing had a point. The ancient God's battlefield was just that kind of place. Even with the same entrance, you wouldn't land in the same place twice.

The ancient God's battlefield was where the ancient gods and demons fought. Even after countless years, huge carcasses of some ancient creatures could still be seen scattered around, partially buried in the mud, with some parts poking out the size of mountain ranges, the sheer magnitude of their true bodies almost unimaginable.

"Is there really anything good to find here?" After walking for a long time, Moon stood on a piece of giant beast's rib and sighed in boredom.

"There are treasures, but they're just hard to find. After all, the ancient God's battlefield could have been opened countless times and searched by countless people. The further you go, the lower the chances of finding something good!" Bexia laughed and said, looking at Moon's impatient face. She reached out, lifted her up, and put her on her shoulder, saying, "If you're tired of flying, rest here on me!"

The sky above the ancient God's battlefield was filled with terrifying turbulent flows, making high-altitude flight impossible. This caused their progress to be slow, which was the main reason for Moon's reaction.

"Then, I'll reluctantly take a rest!" To Bexia's surprise, Moon didn't fly to him as expected, but instead sat down calmly and lazily leaned against him, hands resting on his head, chin on top.

"What are you doing?" Bexia was speechless. Moon's actions were making him feel helpless, he couldn't even turn his head, or something might go wrong.

"Didn't you ask me to rest?" Moon replied weakly.

"Are you hungry? Why are you so listless?" Bexia asked curiously.

"No problem! Just a little tired, that's all. I'll rest for a bit!" Moon responded, closing her eyes at the same time.

"Then take a good rest!" Bexia didn't ask further, guessing it must be because of Lian. Although they didn't say it out loud, their bond was deep, and Moon had been through a lot these days.

"I was thinking... I mean, if..." After walking for a while, Moon suddenly spoke softly.

"What's the matter? What's with the 'if'?"

"If Lian and I could only save one person, who would you choose?"

"That's a childish question. Why do I have to pick one instead of both?" Bexia perceived the underlying issue in Moon's words and said with concern, "Don't worry, even if we can't find the Soulwood, I'll think of another way to save Lian!"

"I hope so..." Moon's voice trailed off, then after a few more steps, her voice rose again.

"Why are you so good to me?"

"Well... you're my dependent deity! Of course, I have to help you!"

"Is that so?" Moon questioned, then added, "I asked Christine, and she said if I merge with Divinity, I'll be at your mercy forever!"

"What nonsense is Christine saying? I don't abuse anyone," Bexia defended herself innocently.

"Christine said you're really bad and if I become your dependent deity, I'll be ruined by you!"

"Christine is talking nonsense. Don't listen to her!" Bexia said firmly, "You should ask Conesy, Lucifer; I haven't done anything to them!"

"Really?" Moon seemed a little skeptical.

"Then you..." Before Moon could finish her sentence, Bexia conjured an ice spear in her hand and hurled it towards a sudden pitch-black figure appearing in front of them.

"Clang!" The ice spear was shattered by the black figure's sword blade, followed by a wild beast-like roar from the figure, its enormous blood-red eyes filled with madness glaring at Bexia and the others.

This was a Demonic Battle Soul, the remnant soul of those demons who died in battle and refused to accept it, nurtured by the unique environment of the ancient God War Field, inheriting some abilities and traits of the fallen demons. It was the most common type of monster in the ancient God War Field!
