"The River Map and the Luo Book!" The Ancestor of the Stars saw through the secrets of the artifact in Luo Ningxian's hand at a glance. His eyes turned greedy, as these two artifacts were renowned throughout the galaxy, even having illustrious reputations on the Pangu supercontinent.
"I am the Ancestor of the Stars from the Star Gate. May I ask which power you represent? If my disciple offends you, could you please give me face?" The Ancestor of the Stars remained composed as he looked at Lucifer with a furrowed brow. Although her name was well-known, few had actually seen her in person, especially in her current appearance.
"You are not worthy to know my name!" Enraged by the sneak attack, Lucifer did not waste any words. With a stomp of her foot, she appeared in front of the Ancestor of the Stars, bringing down her Apocalypse Judgment toward his head.
"Imperial Sword: Ziwei!" The Ancestor of the Stars clenched his palm, summoning a majestic broadsword to block Lucifer's Apocalypse Judgment.
However, he underestimated Lucifer's swordsmanship. When the two clashed, the Ancestor of the Stars' expression changed. Tremendous force sent him flying, shattering multiple stars before finally coming to a halt. The other disciples of the Star Gate quickly retreated, unable to withstand Lucifer's power.
"You dare provoke me too—!" The Ancestor of the Stars roared, charging out from the rubble. With a swift motion, countless swords clashed like gold and iron in the air, emerging to attack Lucifer.
"Great Origin Sword Array!" A stream of sword light surged forth like a massive dragon, carrying a powerful impact towards Lucifer.
Unfazed, Lucifer raised her Apocalypse Judgment and effortlessly sliced through the sword stream, splitting it in two with precision.
"Great Origin Sword Array: Heaven and Earth Sword Punishment!" The Ancestor of the Stars changed his hand seals, retracting all the swords into the void. The surrounding space began to ripple, with sword lights breaking through intermittently, akin to a hidden behemoth in deep waters, hinting at its presence with a chilling aura. The succession of sword lights felt like blades poised at one's neck, ready to strike at any moment.
"Swoosh—" A sword light suddenly shot out from the void at great speed, followed by more from all directions, each aimed at vital points on Lucifer's body in a relentless assault.
"Clang! Clang! Clang—" Protected by the Morningstar's Glow, the supreme defense artifact of the Heavenly Heights, Lucifer absorbed the impact of the sword lights which shattered upon contact. Despite the defense, the unending attacks made Lucifer feel somewhat constrained.
Why didn't Lucifer strike back? It wasn't due to her being weaker than the Ancestor of the Stars, but to protect Beckia and the others behind her. As an Eternal God, the destructive power of the Ancestor of the Stars was too great. Without Lucifer's protection, the mere aftermath of their battle could easily tear Beckia and the others apart.
The Ancestor of the Stars noticed this dilemma and couldn't help but smile. He signaled his disciples to capture Beckia and the others, intending to use them to control Lucifer!
Having been through countless battles, Lucifer naturally could see through the intentions of the Ancestor of Stars at a glance. Her expression turned cold as she protected herself with the Morning Star's Radiance in her hand, throwing it towards Bexia, forming a protective shield around them, and glaring at the Ancestor of Stars with fury.
"You will die!"
"Attack!" With a cry, the maid outfit on Lucifer's body disappeared, replaced by a black suit of armor. Her long black hair cascaded down to her calves, and six black wings spread out behind her, each feather exuding darkness. This was the complete form of Lucifer, the fallen angel with six wings.
"Black... six wings..." The Ancestor of Stars watched Lucifer's transformation in astonishment, recognizing her identity with one strike.
"You are Lucifer, the traitor of the Most High!"
As the former ruler of the Most High, Lucifer belonged to the ancient Eternal-tier divine beings, renowned throughout the entire dimensional universe. Though many had never seen her in person, her deeds were famous across the entire dimensional universe.
"Perish!"
Lucifer's figure flashed, accelerating to its peak speed as if traversing space directly, appearing in front of the Ancestor of Stars in an instant and slashing down towards his head with a sword.
The Ancestor of Stars, being an Eternal-tier divine being, was not just an empty shell, and could not be easily dispatched by Lucifer's simple sword strike. He sensed the danger before the blade landed, and as it plummeted down, his form blurred and vanished, leaving only a residual image for Lucifer to cleave.
"Trying to escape!" Lucifer's gaze shifted to the other side as the Ancestor of Stars reappeared. Once again, she lunged forward, causing the Ancestor of Stars to panic. He hastily summoned two longswords from the void to defend himself, but they were shattered mercilessly by Lucifer, sending his form flying backwards.
Seizing the momentum, Lucifer pursued, and the Judgment of Doomsday pierced through the Ancestor of Stars' body...
