The isolation of shrinking space and spatial power allows Bexia to traverse the void of the universe without any constraint. However, she must stay within the range that Lady Cloud can tolerate, as she is currently only a phantom body with limited strength.
Speaking of shrinking space, Bexia remembers that she still possesses the Holy-level "Lotus Steps." However, Lady Cloud deemed it trash and banished it to obscurity, without teaching Bexia how to use spatial power.
Although she is incapable of using spatial power at the moment, Bexia is considering selling the "Lotus Steps" for resources.
As she aimlessly travels through the cosmic void for half a day, she starts to feel a faint pressure. This sensation first appears on Kesi, then on Christine. As for Bexia, she remains unaffected.
"This is the power of Chaos Divinity. Nothing can compare to the primordial chaos, just like how a hunting dog cannot intimidate a lion," Lady Cloud clarifies, her gaze shifting slightly. She nonchalantly remarks, "Deal with these tails, they are mere garbage!"
"Tails?" Luo Xingxian still looks puzzled.
"Is someone following us? Why can't I see anything?" Luo Cailuo, on the other hand, starts to understand. Yet, when she gazes at the dark void behind them, she only sees small specks of debris, with nothing else in sight.
"Yes!" Bexia nods and turns to Kesi, saying, "Can you handle this?"
"Yes, Mistress!" Kesi responds. Ripples ripple in the void behind her, and two shrunken gun turrets appear on her sides. The black barrels emit a faint glow.
This is what it looks like for a human to carry ship weapons on their body. In a sense, Kesi already belongs to another special race; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call her the fairy of the warship.
"Does Mistress want me to spare any survivors?" Kesi asks again, seeking confirmation of Bexia's intentions.
"Just eliminate them!" Who does he have a grudge against? There is almost no doubt about it. After all, his interactions are scarce, and the only conflict he had was at the auction, where he was marked with a tracking spell.
"Yes!" Receiving confirmation, Kesi's gaze turns resolute. Just as she prepares to fire, several icy glimmers suddenly emerge from the shadows, zipping through the void, aiming straight at Bexia and the others.
"En!" Kesi furrows her brows; someone dares to attack her master in her presence, and this greatly displeases her as a warship.
Although Kesi lacks significant offensive capabilities without a ship, her energy core is enough to support a defensive barrier surpassing that of a Sovereign. These icy glimmers cannot penetrate her barrier.
But these icy glimmers are only the beginning. Apparently, the person in the shadows does not believe that these arrows would be effective. The subsequent attacks follow closely, but they still fail to break through Kesi's barrier.
"Die!" A figure suddenly appears above everyone else, wielding a giant bag that seems to envelop them, like a gaping maw of blood.
"You trash-like ants!" Lady Cloud glares at the figure above them, extremely annoyed. She despises individuals who dare to speak above her head.
"Uh...?!" The figure abruptly stiffened.
"Crack, crack!"
The body shattered like a broken mirror, with no blood flowing. The figure disintegrated into a pair of fragments, disappearing completely.
"To actually challenge the authority of my lord!" Keneesi's voice rang out angrily, and the two secondary cannons on her back suddenly fired.
"Boom, boom!" The barrels roared, and two beams of energy shot out, instantly rendering the world before Bexia black. Bexia could sense the terrifying power contained in Keneesi's attack, as if everything was being reduced to its most basic elements.
Bexia's perception was correct. This was the power of Elemental Divinity, but Keneesi could not yet control this power, so she could only rely on the force accompanying this energy.
After everything dissipated, the area suddenly became clear. All the stars in a large region had disappeared, and any hidden enemies had already vanished completely.
"Master, it was my carelessness!" Keneesi lowered her head as if she had done something wrong, acknowledging her mistake and waiting for punishment from Bexia.
"What do you want to be punished for?" Bexia looked at Christine for help. As her "senior," their relationship was quite good.
"Um... there's no need for punishment! It's not your fault!" Christine's mischievous voice sounded in Bexia's mind.
"..." Bexia glanced at Christine, speechless. He didn't know what to do! Considering Keneesi's personality, doing nothing might actually have the opposite effect.
"Leave the punishment to Christine. Our main focus now is to continue moving forward!" Bexia passed the responsibility and turned to leave, leaving Keneesi looking towards Christine.
"Senior, please punish me!"
"As for punishment~ hehe!" Christine looked at Bexia's retreating figure and chuckled. Then she whispered a few words into Keneesi's ear, causing the expressionless imperial soldier to furrow her brow, showing a rather unnatural look on her face.
"I understand..."
They continued to move forward. There were hardly any living worlds in the dark nebula, and resources were mostly salvaged from stars. Bexia found some resources on a few stars, but they were of low value, likely leftovers from previous explorers.
For several days, Bexia estimated that he had traveled a considerable distance, surveying dozens of large stars. However, he hadn't found anything useful.
"Do these guys really have any resources?" Bexia walked out from a star that had been dug out with many large holes, feeling quite helpless. So far, he hadn't found anything worthwhile.
"It's all been dug up here!"
"Let's rest here for today! I'll prepare tonight and move forward tomorrow." Lady Cloud spoke up.
"Then we'll trouble you, Sister Lady Cloud!"
"Are you being polite with me?! If you want to repay me, Betty can come find me tonight!" Lady Cloud smiled at Bexia.
"Let's forget about it! We don't need to be so polite." Bexia quickly refused.
Joking! Going to Lady Cloud would be like throwing oneself into the tiger's den. If the events of that night were to happen again, Bexia wouldn't dare to say she could control herself.
"Let's rest here for today!" Bexia shouted to the others.
