Chapter 25

1

The Dragonbone Greatsword clashed with Elena's sword point, and the power of the Dragon Soul resonated in the air like two real dragons dueling. The intense light made even the divine beings living in The Human Realm shudder.

"Boom! Boom!" Elena's full-body armor shattered, along with the sword in her hand.

"My sword!"

"Elena!" I shouted Elena's name, rushing towards her as the sword's edge neared.

Elena saw the giant sword in front of her, an expression of extreme tension on her face, yet she disregarded it and tried to directly punch to strengthen her fists against the sword with magic.

"Eh?" Elena suddenly looked puzzled.

My sword pierced through Elena's armpit, and my arms hugged her tightly, a very subtle move that made Elena, who should have faced death bravely, suddenly unable to grasp the situation. Surprisingly, she did not resist me.

A burst of red light enveloped us from above, the shining source coming down from the sky at a speed that was not ordinary, definitely not a meteor.

At the moment I embraced Elena, the Magic formation surrounding Willow Bay shattered, giving way to that guy who brought about the island's worst nightmare day, as in that instant flames fused with most of the buildings, leveled the stage, and even... no trace of people was found.

That guy was clearly heading towards us, so I chose to protect Elena with my back against it during the battle. Regardless of Elena's ability to resist, I chose to use my own strength to protect her.

A huge fist broke out of the flames, and my sword's body blocked it in time, at that moment a clue was heard.

"The crime is in time-space!"

"How could it be you!" The voice was unfamiliar, but the words were very familiar.

"Even if time is reversed, it won't change anything for me!"

"You are finally saying something else, tell me your dragon name!"

Slowly revealed in the burst of flames was a round body, he had fattened into a sphere, but his fist was immensely strong, making the sparks tremble in my hand holding the sword.

"Kirimilophi, human name—Zhurong."

After stating his name, I quickly used Space Magic to leave this fist, the only chance available to do so after naming.

"Zhurong! You sure know how to pick a name, but it does suit you well." The ever-flowing sea of flames appeared before me, transformed from Dragon Soul power into most of the magic for defense. To counterattack, I had to... undergo a semi-dragon transformation!

"Eh, why..."

"Why ask so much, if I let you go now, can you guarantee your safety?"

"Aren't you wishing for my death?"

"How could I bear that."

Elena glanced at me in confusion, then turned to look at Zhurong with surging flames. She no longer felt the tens of thousands of people from just now, the unprecedented grandeur of the Azure Dragon Award had dissipated completely, the stage was gone, and we were probably standing at the corner of the stage. But how could this ashen wasteland ever reveal what the original state was like.

"This person dares to use the name of the old gods, quite bold."

"If he had appeared in the same era as the old god clan, then this name should be his... here he comes."

The sea of flames weakened, and the one-eyed plump figure flew out effortlessly, with a twisted smile on his face.

"Ah~" Elena and I were knocked back fifty meters, the pain piercing through our hearts and lungs even through the magical barrier.

"You holding me makes it impossible to counterattack!"

"I release you, and you leave immediately, do you hear me?"

"No, he invoked the name of the Old Gods, so he must be brought back to The Divine Realm for judgment! Besides, if what you say is true, your death means my death too, how can I bear that!"

Did she believe it? If not, she shouldn't have this kind of worry.

"After becoming the Valkyrie, are you thinking of judging everything with the new laws of The Divine Realm?"

"Anyway, this guy is very dangerous. Leaving Rabbit Bay will inevitably cause more deaths. There are too many ghosts here."

As a god, it is normal to see wandering spirits, but these spirits are all under the jurisdiction of the messengers of the Underworld, and they do not interfere.

"These are all just spectators from before. This guy is like stepping on ants, it's too much!"

"Too much is an understatement! His level of evil is comparable to the Demon Dragon." Elena finally remembered to push me away and began to forge her sword anew.

I stood up and stood in front of Elena.

"Don't be reckless. He is a dragon, not like PiaPichu and the others. He can transform into a human form on his own. He shouldn't have the ability to cross worlds on his own. How did he get here?"

Zhurong—Geirerofi, seven days ago after embedding the broken dragon tooth into my body, should have been pushed back to the other end of the crack by the giant Fire Dragon.

"Curious how I came back?" Zhurong emerged from the sea of flames, his aura soaring. He covered his injured eyes and seemed to have reopened the wound in his excitement, causing blood to flow.

"Curiosity is one thing, but what I don't understand the most is why you persistently pursue me. I have been asking that since that day."

"I heard, but I don't want to answer!"

Flames surged towards us. Qiyi-Luofei didn't give us a chance to communicate or catch our breath. The power contained within his corpulent body was terrifying.

"The ground is moving." Elena felt the movement of the ground, but it wasn't under our feet, it should be in a distant place, probably on the outskirts of the entire Rabbit Bay.

"A nest?" Whether human or dragon, they will build a home for themselves, but the dragon's nest has its own controlled Dragon Domain, not simply marking territory like a puppy.

"A dragon's nest, how can there be dragons building nests during a battle."

"Bang! Bang!" My sword trembled violently again, the fat man retreated into the sea of flames, and the flames flared up once more.

"This guy must have suffered a loss last time. This time, he directly built a nest to gain an advantage. In fact, I have no way to defeat him."

"No way to defeat?"

"Let's face him once and for all. If I win, I hope to learn more from him."

"Stop the nonsense, deal with him first, then we'll settle the score!" Elena pushed me away, grasped her sword, and launched her attack like lightning.

"Hey!" Elena struck quickly, not giving me a chance to complete my dragon transformation halfway.

My upper body was enveloped in golden lines. This type of incomplete dragon transformation was not complete, outlining the dragon-human body structure but not fully solidifying like me in black and white form. I turned into a bizarre form with dragon claws appearing, indicating there was still a process to go before my full body could be outlined.

"Uh!" I caught Elena, whose shoulder was injured, it was inevitable that Elena was at a disadvantage.

"She has help!" Elena's eyes focused on the flames, and inexplicably two beams of light emerged, leaving dark marks on Elena's sword, indicating their formidable killing power.

"Titanium alloy laser wolf's eyes, right?" Flames slid past the pitch-black wolf head, its eyes emitting intense heat.

"It's a wolf's head, not a dog's." Elena tossed her sword into the sky, instantly summoning hundreds of swords to fly towards the enemy, aiming to strike. Elena's sword burned bright red, its durability not high in batches of artifacts, but its fire resistance not weak.

"Anubis-like! What caused the detachment from Marutian?"

The Anubis-like figure tossed the staff, deflecting the sword formation with multiplied reaction and strength, having evolved significantly since their time in the pyramid when they were relatively naive.

The Anubis-like figure, entirely black, appeared as though it was baked in a fiery kiln.

"So, the person you've been looking for is him! Qin Yang."

"It's Xiang?"

"Guffy didn't come, right!"

"She didn't come. Did you need to find her?"

"Good, then let the battle continue." With a twirl of the staff, three hellhounds emerged from the ground, their collars emitting fiery light.
