Chapter 24

1

Perra spread her bat wings and flew in front of me, saying, "Speed up, for eventually this dragon's flame will grow so fierce that even the vast ocean won't be able to extinguish it. The Four Divine Flame will be powerless."

"I don't expect the Four Divine Flame to have any effect on breaking the Flame of Punishment's fire."

Perra quickly descended beneath the fire dragon. Vampire power is not bound by attributes and doesn't rely too much on elements. Perra's sword sliced through the surface of the sea, causing it to spin. Suddenly, a blood-red magic circle appeared beneath the sword.

"Dragon, your enemy is not dead yet!" The spinning sea created immense waves and a hurricane that connected the heavens and the earth. Four hurricanes formed around the dragon, accompanied by thunder and lightning, creating a terrifying scene of maritime disaster.

The dragon ceased its destruction of the surrounding islands and fixed its glowing dragon eyes on Perra. But it continued to utter the same words from its dragon throat - the Dragon Realm has perished, and the sin lies in the spacetime.

"You headless dragon, either speak clearly or don't speak at all!" A blood-red lightning streaked across the sky and struck the dragon's head, leaving no trace behind.

The hurricane collided with the dragon, weakening its fiery body slightly, but it did not extinguish. It quickly returned to its original temperature.

The dragon wildly and aimlessly unleashed its extremely hot dragon's breath, instantly filling the air with steam. The dragon's body temperature continued to rise, surrounding everything with steam. This world felt like a giant sauna, making it difficult for humans to breathe. As I locked eyes with the dragon, I felt like I was seeing another world in its eyes - the Dragon Realm? That's what I believed it referred to. Could it be the origin of the dragon race?

Perra exerted all her strength and raised her sword, the silver light of her sword resembling the moon's radiance. Perra activated the power of the vampire kings hidden within her sword, which were fueled by the moon's movements.

"Moonlight Star Shake," Perra said. Though her sword attack appeared slow, it left behind a thin sword energy reminiscent of starlight. One second later, a drop of dragon's blood trickled from the dragon's belly, but the dragon's regenerative power made this injury negligible. The dragon's belly was already thin-skinned, making it easily damaged. I was just curious about how Perra managed to surpass the flame attack from its true body. However, judging by Perra's condition, she seemed exhausted after this attack.

"Qin Yang, are you a blockhead? You're just staring blankly!" The dragon's gaze had returned to Perra. It seemed irritated, as if being wounded by Perra, who was smaller in size, was unsatisfying.

The dragon flew through the clouds, illuminating the sky. Its body was both visible and invisible, making the sky hot and bright, as if it were daytime with the sun shining. The coldness and moonlight of the midnight sky disappeared, cutting off Perra's chance for another attack.

I was already prepared in the higher sky than the dragon. My dragonbone greatsword absorbed all the darkness from this sky, harnessing all the dark elements. They converged with my soul power through the sword, gathering once again in my left hand. Though Perra's blood had healed the external appearance of my left hand, the internal nerves were not so easily restored to perfection. My partially transformed left hand had to bear the impact of this "dark element projectile" that was as big as the dragon.

The projectile descended from the sky, and these two massive objects couldn't be avoided. They could only collide head-on. The damage inflicted on the dragon by the projectile was not ideal, but I chose such a massive magic projectile because it could push the dragon and hinder its flight.

As desired, the dragon slipped from the sky, and the equally large projectile on its back descended slowly, squeezing the dragon.

"This speed is still not enough!"

I lost the ability to fly and quickly descended, landing on the surface of the elemental spring with a flying kick stance, as the combined pressure of magic and physical strength pushed the dragon back into the sea!

"Do you need help?" Perra quietly stopped by my side, raising her hands and sheathing her sword, as if she was just enjoying the show.

"What do you think? Do you also want to extort a promise from me like the other girls at this time, Your Majesty."

"If I do that, won't I become just like those other girls in your eyes? Your Majesty only waits for your words."

"Alright, Queen Perra, please help me out, thank you."

"That's more like it."

Together, Perra and I exerted all our strength to push the dragon down. The struggling dragon made it difficult for us, and at the last moment, the dragon even showed signs of bouncing back. Fortunately, it did not succeed.

"Go down, you lunatic!"

A blast of scorching steam enveloped us, and the dragon's fiery body was submerged by the endless seawater, revealing its true form.

The elemental spring instantly exploded into a pitch-black realm, and I moved through the darkness without getting lost because I was the ruler of their domain.

"Obey the Dragon Command!" In the darkness, I felt the dragon's horn, and sensed that its mind was empty, very pure emptiness.

The dragon roared fiercely, even though it was like this on the inside, it still showed stubborn resistance. The underwater dragon struggled, crashing into rocks and coral reefs, fiercely resisting.

"Resist the Dragon Command, does that mean you are also a dragon with imperial power?"

At this moment, Perra emerged from the darkness of the sea, gripping my wrist with her right hand. Amidst the dragon's violent resistance, I was already swaying in a dizzying spiral, and even though the water provided resistance, it couldn't stop the dragon's strength.

"Make it stop!" Perra, underwater, wielded her sword and plunged it into the dragon's weak spot - its eye.

Dragon blood spread in the seawater, but the dragon became quiet. Drops of dragon blood flowed out of its eyes, passing through in front of us, the blood flowing in the cold seawater, dyeing the ocean surface a strange red. If it weren't for the fact that all the fish were scared away from the beginning, the chance of becoming as powerful and understanding of human nature as the golden-haired monkeys after acquiring a drop of dragon blood would be very high.

After a moment of quiet, the dragon suddenly dove underwater, making me unable to understand why it didn't go back to the surface but instead dived deeper.

"Don't pull it out, it doesn't know what it wants to do!"

The dragon's eye was injured, a precious eye of the dragon race. Whoever injured its eye would form an unbreakable enmity with the dragon. Perra may have unconsciously made this attack while swaying, but the dragon's abnormally quiet reaction is not in line with common sense.

"Hey! Is that what you called a fissure?" Perra saw the crack in the deep sea, a faint light emanating from it. The crack had long closed to a size only half the dragon's body, and the dragon was absolutely unable to reenter the crack, yet it still accelerated its impact on the crack. What was the significance of that?

"It... could it be that it wants to throw us in?"

"What are you talking about?"

"How would I know! Anyway, once we go in, it will be difficult to come back out."

"I will count to three, let go of this dragon together! We can't let it drag us in like this."

"Why bother counting, just let go directly."

I released my hand that had been in contact with the dragon, using the "Dragon Command," and moved away from the dragon's body. The seawater carried my body and propelled it five hundred meters away, and I forced myself to stop.

"Perra!" I shouted loudly, feeling nervous. I couldn't believe it. In the moment Perra pulled out her sword, the dragon's claw was already in front of her. In that second, Perra fell into the dragon's grasp, and the dragon's four wings accelerated forward.

The dragon approached the crack, decisively throwing Perra into the crevice. At the same time, the dragon began to use Dragon Language Magic to summon a meteorite from outer space!

Using my ability of Colored Pupils underwater, I could see the meteorite far beyond the sky. If this meteorite were to come down, it could cause the disappearance of all the islands in this sea area. Although the meteorite was still far away, it was moving at an extremely fast speed. The meteorite wasn't formed naturally, but was created by the dragon in its anger. The first hint of emotion appeared in its empty heart. When the Magic was complete, the harm I could encounter might be the least severe.

"Islands...Lan!"

But saving Perra in front of me was obviously more important. As for Lan, she perhaps had to rely on luck. However, there was another way.

"Absolute Serenity Space!"

Golden bandages formed a circle, with the words "Sealing Demon Knot" floating above. The timeline instructions appeared just like the first time I used them.

"This time, try not to shake, after all, it's been twenty years since I last used it." I muttered to myself as I looked at the instructions. The power of this dragon was still uncertain, and Perra happened to be blocking the entrance of the crack. I didn't know if the spatial ability would work inside the crevice. It was best not to attempt such a thing easily, as it was possible that even if time were to flow backwards, it couldn't change anything. The instructions clearly stated that the reversal of time within twenty hours could be altered, but it didn't mention whether it could affect time outside of the Three Realms.

With two swords in hand, I remembered the last time I used the timeline to release energy, which nearly killed me. Moreover, the energy released from that time, twenty years worth, left me with a lingering shadow. It was a pain akin to tearing my soul apart, even more painful than being unable to scratch an itch!

"Sigh, is there any other way to not use the timeline?" I touched the back of my head. Anyway, I could think of solutions here for however long I wanted, as long as my "Dragon's Secret Imperial Power" was sufficient.

I pondered and pondered, but there wasn't a perfect solution that satisfied both goals. A gentle rewinding of time, back to when the dragon hadn't been saved by me, would prevent the released energy from being too powerful and causing unbearable pain. And I could also utilize this energy to accelerate my dragon transformation, which would feel quite perfect. If the deranged dragon were to remain mangled in the crevice, it would bring some comfort, but as fellow dragons and considering its strength, I couldn't help but feel regretful.

But there was nothing I could do. This insane dragon was dangerous wherever it went, of course in terms of the safety of any life other than itself. What would Maru Tian do if he were here? Would he make the dragon lose its memory and become a pet just like the three-headed dragon? It would suit his style more, after all.

Recalling Maru Tian's strength, I also felt that dealing with this dragon would be quite tricky. If that were the case, in the end, we would have to join forces to deal with it. Haha, the thought of it disgusted me. I hadn't even settled the scores with Elena and Yu Yuanqing, so why talk about cooperation?

The swords reversed, and everything began to rewind.

2

"Qin Yang, hey! What are you thinking about? Oh...do I have to call you Reisgolo for you to react?" Perra stood beside me as if nothing had happened. At this moment, Demon Dragon's sword was inserted into the sword after Demon Dragon. I had originally planned to rewind a bit more, but for some reason, I stopped here. Oh, if I were to rewind further, the Demon Dragon version of Qin Yang would appear, but now I am Reisgolo. According to the instructions, "the timeline does not record history within twenty-four hours." Black Qin Yang possessed a segment of "time," and I possessed a segment of "time." The amount of time I could rewind was limited. If I were to rewind further, I would exceed twenty-four hours, as there was already a "me" in history. The instructions also said not to break the rules, but I didn't know what that meant.

"My powers need a manual, which is quite strange."

"What manual?"

"Huh? There's no manual, I mean... this dragon's roar is just too unpleasant."

"Is that so?"

"Yes... Perra, you're really amazing."

"Peculiar." Perra didn't understand what I said.
